2nd time here food is good but service is ridiculously slow. I would give it more stars if they had better service. They are now closed. Sad to see them go.

I am so glad they closed this place I feel bad for the people that were displaced & out of work but this restaurants service was horrible — I guess a fair amount of people who live close & went there more than once can accurately observe just how bad the service was(like myself & a few other Unilocalers) but the other patrons that just popped in there once may has gotten the luck of the draw which is why there are actually a few good reviews… aside from the few nice or decent people they may have has workin there ! All & all I’m looking forward to the next restaurant or business that takes over that bldg & I pray that Mimi’s cafes bad energy is removed from there !

I still enjoy going to MiMi’s. Its one of my favorite places in Waldorf. The food is good and the prices are really reasonable but I don’t understand why they are always short staffed. That’s waht makes the place get such bad reviews. I guess its just not a great work environment and people don’t stay.

Who’s ready for brunch? I am!!! What a great spot to visit for brunch. They had ample outside seating and the staff were quick to assist. My food came out within a reasonable time and the price was fairly reasonable as well. I will visit again and more than likely will continue to enjoy good food here.

This chain is amazing. The Waldorf location is the worst one that I’ve been to but not as bad as some of the other reviews suggest I come here very often and enjoy the breakfast greatly They will prepare the food in special ways if you like. For example I like the eggs Benedict but don’t eat ham so they prepared a salmon Benedict for me It was awesome It’s the best kept secret but do not judge the entire chain on this one location Many of the waitresses are excellent though

Been here many times and I need to say the service is so hit or miss!!! I wanted to say the last time I was there I used my mobile coupon and the waiter tried to act stupid and said I needed it printed out! I had to explain to this Moran that you can’t print out a mobile coupon! He said well he could not except it! I said really!!! I need to talk to a manager! He said Oh OK! Manager knew better! He said I just need the code! Showed him and everything was fine! Waiter came back to take order acting like nothing was wrong! Took our order we got our food and our food was Delish! I had meatloaf that was really different from most places! But really good! My dad had fish & Chips it was fried to perfection!!! Then the bill came waiter never took off one dinner which the coupon was buy one get one free! Which was my mobile coupon that the manager had already approved! I looked at the waiter and said just give this bill to your manager he knows what’s going on!!! I think all that boy wanted was to go outside to smoke a cig! Anyway food good service sucked! But I got my free meal! And he got a crappy tip! Lol!!!

Breakfast is good. Thought I’d try dinner… NEVERAGAIN! Food was horrible! Sent my order back and got something else… it was horrible also. Avoid the lunch and dinner, unless you like bland food. #TastedLikeHospitalFood

Another place that deserves no stars. the hostess greets us with an apology because a large party took all the dinner menus?! wtf. she gives us a lunch menu(nothing like the dinner menu). When we asked if dinner was available, she said yes, but the large party in the other room won’t give them back. I decided to leave but my daughter wanted to stay. I had to ask for the manager to get a reg. menu. My drink was late, salad never arrived. and the pot roast was a hunk of dry meat. I didn’t bother to complain any further. you get what u pay for.

Love the food here ! I’ve had the«le club» sandwich for lunch, the spaghetti and mussel dish for dinner, and my favorite is the French onion soup! Soo good!

My mom and I came here for brunch around noon on a Saturday. We were seated right away and our food was on the table in about 20 mins. Our server, Celeste, was genuinely kind, very warm and friendly. The décor and ambiance are pleasant. And, of course, the food is deLISH! Getting here can be a bit of a battle(high traffic area), but for us it was well worth it. I recommend the Marseille Omelette w/provençal potatoes. My mom recommends the Quiche Lorraine(the one w/bacon). Also be sure to treat yourself to an almond or chocolate croissant. C’est magnifique!

Décor: Above average; very nice(4 or 5 star) Food: Decent/average — a big eater will not leave full(quality 3.5; portion 2.5 stars) Price: Average; maybe a little pricey. Service: inattentive; the restaurant was 20% full and I rarely saw wait staff. Additionally, the convey an attitude(just by observation of them walking around) that they hate their job(1.5 to 2 stars). Synopsys: Mimi’s is not a place that I would actively seek out, but if you are hungry and there is no wait for a table, it might be worth a try.

Service and quality has really dropped — hopefully this will be corrected and Mimi’s can return to the great restaurant it used to be. Issues this visit included incorrect food order(poached eggs instead of scrambled), cold pancakes, manager nowhere to be found on floor but did notice him eating on the line, no table maintenance, have to flag down server for coffee refills, have to flag down again after finished eating to check on status of eggs, broken urinal, trash on floor outside restrooms, trash on floor of dining room, and scrambled eggs had cooled down when they were finally brought out along with an apology and excuse of how it’s the managers fault for not catching the mistake when it left the kitchen. Still a great menu selection, so hopefully Mimi’s can turn the problems around with better management, training, and attention to quality control.

*** Breakfast Review*** Its Sunday and I-hop was CRAZY packed!!! My girlfriend suggested we go to Mimi’s since they had a «pretty good» breakfast. I would’ve honestly waited at I-hop but the growl in my stomach sounded like a roaring tiger… I ordered french toast, bacon, eggs, and a side of OJ. The food was just ok… Nothing special… My girlfriends potatoes were damn near cold but we were so hungry she didn’t even send them back. Luckily we didn’t have any issues with our service but I’m not sure if I would return. Some of the lunch dishes did look ok but I still don’t think I’d come back to give them a shot. They definitely need to clean this place up a bit. It just seemed like there was too much going on here… *SHRUGS*

Mimi’s is hit or miss. In my recent experience it’s been more miss. Wrong or cold food, inattentive or rude waitstaff, blatantly ignoring the customer’s wishes. When I straight up tell you«Please put me as far away from the screaming children as possible» it really doesn’t mean seat me in the booth right next to them. There was one night my family walked in ahead of a group of ten and was ignored because the hostesses felt like chatting with the group. We were told there was a twenty minute wait with ¾ of the restaurant empty but the big group was told they could have the next available table. Haven’t been back in months because it just sucks anymore. When it first opened, like most things in Waldorf it was nice and the staff knew what they were doing. But as with most things, after about six months things start going to shit.

UGH! NEVERAGAIN! Was there last night, around 8:30pm…not crowded I thought it was closed… walked in… not a lot of ppl, so after being seated, the waiter was nice… however we made it basic order, and we waited… and waited… wait some more… another couple arrived, he waited on them… I left for the restroom… returned…the couple were on their appetizers… nothing on my table… finally out comes our basic appetizer… he didn’t even give offer water, bread, notta… had to scrounge for salt n pepper… as soon as I got my SOUP, here he comes with my entrée… he got the official stank eye from me… are you kidding me? More irritated with my spouse when he decides to order more stuff to take home… why? I could have conceived given birth AND been home earlier… only gave Mimi’s one star cuz it was my anniversary…

We’ve been coming here since they opened. It’s not bad — I mean as much as it is a sit down place, it’s still fast food with a homey feel to it. Portions are generous and prices aren’t outrageous for what you get. The bread basket(free) is usually really good. Carrot cake bread is divine. We liked the spice cake bread too. Sometimes they give you french rolls too. Coffee isn’t special, take a pass(unless you must have your caffeine fix) Pot roast and turkey were also good. I had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Steak came in 2 huge portions with gravy and a large scoop of potatoes. The veggies? 3 pieces of broccoli and 8 sliced carrots. Sad. Veggies are cheap, next time I will request a large scoop of veggies and take a pass on the potatoes. I only ate ¾ of one of the steaks. I should’ve asked for a half portion. Hubby got the teriyaki chicken. Very good, considering. Breakfast is served all day and is always a go to choice for us. The stuffed french toast with jam and berries is like dessert. Not a fan of their fried potatoes. The quiche is usually good and they offer several choices. Zach was our waiter Saturday night and he was helpful. For the new guy, he did alright. This place has a full bar and it’s open when they open in the morning. Plenty of parking. Located in a shopping center near Davids Bridal, DSW Shoes and Bath & Body Works.

I really like Mimi’s and go there a few times a year. It feels like home — not my home, but you know what I’m sayin’. It’s smack dab in a shopping center, so if I’m in that center and am hungry, to Mimi’s I will go. The servers are always really nice and efficient — PLUS They have the best muffins, especially the carrot cake ones — LOVE The bread basket is a meal in and of itself. Can’t get enough carbs, right? Last weekend, I noticed that the menu changed and some items, like the«just right» portioned ones were gone. Sigh. The good news is, the breakfast items are always on point and I do like the variety. It’s regular ol’ cooking done right, with a positive attitude, in a comfy place. ‘Til next time, Mimi’s.

Well, I finally went to MiMi’s where do I start to be honest I should had never begun. I will break this down into sections. Waitress: She was rushing us to order… what the Hell we told her it was our 1st time there… I can see if it was busy, but it was not. Secondly, she did not give us any napkins. The only napkins was the one with our silver ware on. Lastly, she did not ask to refill out drinks. Food: I had the Belgian waffle one side of them were soggy who the Hell would eat them. So, they bring another plate out & it they were over cook and dried out… I left them on the plate. The little bottle of syrup was a joke… if u like syrup & most do u better bring you some home. The bacon I ask for a side damn near $ 4…for a couple of strips, such a rip off. I ask for for some fruit topping nothing fancy that was extra, and if you want sugar on top I’m guessing it would had been too… I said forget it… Okay, moving forward red skin potatoes my ass that is false advertising because they were basic potatoes with no flavor… don’t be fool its a trap with words. There juice was so small my 3yr niece would had been thirsty as Hell… A friend orders a blue berry muffin looks good coming to the table… It look better than it taste. It was burnt and dry… Wait, I must be crazy here a blue berry muffin all time classic is suppose to be moist and oh so good. I guess that dream came to halt when you ate the muffin. The breakfast menu as a whole is very limited… Ihop & Cracker Barrel keep doing what you do… we love you… MiMi’s yall need help and Chef Gordan Ramsey needs to come and jump in that ass. If you want lousy food and don’t mind having no seasoning and pay extra for everything than go ahead… McDonald’s breakfast is even better… Will not be back, very annoyed…
