Our cast goes here a lot around 9pm. I love the brew house chicken and often get cravings for it. I’ve also had the honey chicken and mac and cheese. It was okay. The chicken added a little more sweetness than I liked. Staff have always been good to us. Drinks sometimes take a little longer, but they gather everything and bring it at once, unless a cocktail is taking a little longer. They always accommodate us even though we often get the reservation number wrong(cast of 40 and people say they are coming and never do). There was only one occasion that the host got frustrated by our numbers being off, but that was out of my control.

Food and the service were good but it took the hostess 10 minutes to seat me at 1:30 in the afternoon. She was slow and in no hurry to seat any one. It was almost like she did not want to be there.

On 2÷26÷2015 we encountered a huge list of problems. 1.Upon entering, we gave the host our names, and requested a booth. When it came time to be seated, we were sat at a table that could barely fit our appetizers, and drinks comfortably. We asked to be seated at a booth that was right across from our previous table, and in reply was told no, until I seated myself. 2. Once we ordered our drinks, it took him ten minutes to come back with our I.d. In the mean time we did not recieve our water, or our beverages. 3. After our I. ds were returned, it took another 7 minutes before I asked the waiter if our drinks were coming out or not, he replied with an excuse saying the bartender was busy.(let me remind u the restaurant was quiet) As we waited for our drinks, we noticed that the bar tender scratched his head, and then grabbed the fruit and placed it on the customers drinks without washing his hands.(At this point I was disgusted!) 4) when he finally came with our drinks, we did not receive the drinks we had ordered. We explained to the waiter, the order was wrong, and that we did not order the drinks that were on the table. He then had another excuse, saying he «was on thin ice with his boss, and that if he took the drinks back it would be on him.»(very unprofessional) THISWASTWENTYFIVEMINUTESIN!!! STILLNOWATER, and NOBEVERAGES! 6) he then threw two drink holders down, placed the drinks that were not the ones we ordered and said«what do you guys want» in a low inappropriate tone. 7) I was not about to pay sixty dollars for such horrible service, I told him I was going else where, and then was blocked from the door way, and was told we had to pay for the drinks before we left. DRINKSWEDIDNTORDER!!! I was in complete shock! the service was absolutelt HORRIBLE! We will not be returning, let alone recommend this restaurant to anyone! If u want great service and great food, go to the brick, they had great service, and had our waters on our table as soon as we sat down! Applebee’s get it together!

We dined at this location when it first opened a few years back, but had then decided not to make any returning visits. Not because the overall experience was bad, but simply because we weren’t impressed with the prices versus the quality of food received. But when we recently received an Applebee’s gift card for Christmas, we thought we’d give it another go. We went on a Sunday evening around 8, so the place was fairly quiet, but still had a few customers which was a good sign to us. We were promptly greeted at the door and politely asked where we would like to sit versus the usual, «Let me show you to a table» routine often heard at most establishments. We opted to sit in the bar area so we could watch the football highlights. Conveniently, there were TV’s on multiple walls so we could both easily see what was playing on the screens, and wouldn’t ya know it, the Coyboys beat the Lions, unfortunately. We sat for about five minutes before being greeted by the waitress, which was a little long in our book, but we were feeling famished, so it could have just been us being impatient. Nevertheless, the waitress was amazingly friendly, gave good drink and food recommendations, and wasn’t overly attending. Our last visit left us a little put off by the way-too-happy, musical(yes, singing) waitress, so this time around already gets 5 stars at this point. The only other happenings that put us off were that the drinks we ordered visibly sat on the bar counter for ten minutes(yes, we timed it) before being delivered to the table. We could have gotten up and got them ourselves, but we wanted to gauge the accuracy of the service. This is excusable though. From working in food service myself, I know that when there aren’t a lot of customers, it’s easy to lose track of time because you feel like you can relax. The only other glitch was the price of a single craft beer. Most bars and restaurants in Walla Walla charge $ 3 – 4.50 a glass. A single beer at Applebee’s tops the charts at $ 5.50. I can only imagine what a cocktail will run you. All in all, the service and food was great. We ordered the parmesan chicken and shrimp, cooked medium rare and it was right on par. I’m finishing the leftovers at home as I type. Also, if you’re looking for a nice non-alcohol pairing to your meal, the frozen lemonade is delicious and will only set you back $ 2.99. Happy Unilocaling, folks!

I feel like writing a review for a big chain restaurant is pointless, they’re making enough so they don’t give a hoot, but I am bothered. My issue is with their«Carside To Go» service, which is more like«Call in your Order, Get Put on Hold, Never Be Answered, Get to Restaurant Place Your Own Order, Order up in 12 minutes, Jk 20 mins, get out of your come pick it up Yourself.» Service, yeah not so fun and easy as it sounds. I call in orders all the time, I love their Cedar Salmon, it’s dry at times but there’s ways around that, drench it in Tapatio and Lime! I don’t mind getting out, it’s good exercise to go along with yummy salmon, but don’t call it «Carside» if I’m coming inside, it’s a time waster especially if you’re an on the go type of person. K, Peace be with you.

I have been to any Applebee’s in my life and on average I would rate them a four on a good night, and a 3 on most nights. However this particular one must receive a 1 star rating for poor service and horrible food. My boyfriend and I went there tonight. We both ordered the steak option off the 2 for $ 25 deal(the one with onions and mushrooms and red potatoes) I ordered mine medium rare, and he ordered it medium. I got medium well and he got well done. These chefs don’t understand temperatures. The other problem is that they bring it out to you on a sizzling platter. The meat didnt have a chance to rest, and the sizzling plate makes it continue to cook. So by the time we got it, all the juice was at the bottom of the plate, and the meat was over done. Also the mushrooms were over done, and the half the onions were cooked and half raw. The potatoes were bland. No flavor no seasoning. Why do I want to pay to eat what I could have made better at home? We did let the waitress know about the meat and the manager took(insert sarcastic voice here) $ 12 off our entire order. Yay. :/on top of bad food service was lacking. Salad plates stayed on our table as the waitress passed them several times ignoring us. Drink glasses stayed empty, and when asking for a box we were ignored for the larger group next to us. I’m sure I won’t be back to this one again.

This is the first time that we have been here for the deal of the century, better known as 5.99 hamburgers, since they remodeled the place. We walk in and the hostess barely has time to say how many minutes it will be before we have a table, when we breeze by her, pointing to the bar. Let’s face it, why wait to stuff your face when you can do so in a matter of minutes at the bar, as long as you are legal. Plus, it was 5:55 p.m., which means exactly FIVE minutes left in happy hour, and you know what that means, a way cheaper beer. We order the usual cowboy burgers, one rare, like still mooing and the other exactly the opposite, totally dead, and hold that cheese, a water and a beer. Then we had a moment to look around to figure out there had been a slight remodel to the joint, including that the booths that used to be in the bar are GONE. Only tables with these stupid high chairs. If I were really a baby, I certainly would not be eating in the bar. Not, not a fan of high chairs. However, the drinks arrive lightening fast and the two burgers are here soon after. One almost dead cow(yes there was a little pink inside) and the other one definitely dead cow(no pink there). However, the fries must have been made a bit earlier as they weren’t exactly warm and not as tasty as previous times. But for price, no real complaints here. Back to the remodel. We honestly would not have noticed the remodel except for the absence of the booths in the bar. Hope they didn’t spend a lot of money on it.

Went here with my wonderful wife and ordered a well done burger. The burger came out red in the middle and they made an all new burger and waived the cost for me. WONDERFULSERVICE!!!

So, I went back to Applebee’s because a friend said the service was better. They lied. After they took our order, we sat there, waiting. Our appetizer got to our table before our drinks, we had to ask for water and silverware. My food was barely warm. When my friend asked for a drink refill, she got it 15 minutes after she was done eating and we were waiting on the cheek. Don’t waste your money going here, it’s not worth it.

The hostess was rude. The food was Ok. The service was horrible. Friday evening dinner service so expected a little wait but when we were seated(5 larger adults) at a table normally meant for four. They did move us to a bigger booth when we requested. Lots of other open booths and tables yet still people waiting 20 minutes before being seated. I then unrolled my napkin to find a piece if spinach. Our appetizers were brought with no plates. My dads salad was brought with the main meal…

the last time i was there the food was ok, the server mixed up our order and it took some time to get our food. this is the third disappointing experience, a few months ago a server completely ignored my parents and i and had a HUGE attitude. i’m not sure what’s going on with the staff but they’ve got serious issues. again with the latest experience the restaurant was almost empty.

This used to be a great restaurant when it first opened in late 2005 but sadly sometime around 2010 or so the quality of the food and service started to decline and the servers are not as efficient, attentive or friendly as they used to be and they seem to spend more time in the bar area talking among each other rather than doing their jobs, there were times I’ve had to get out of my seat just to tell a server I’ve needed a refill.

Although the restaurant was almost empty(mid afternoon), the service was horribly slow. The dinner salad was good when it finally arrived. It took one hour from time meal was ordered for the entrée to arrive. The manager did stop at our table and apologized, and explained he was having problems in the kitchen. The manager also gave us our meal on the house. My wife and I will give Applebee’s another try in the future, hoping that this experience was just a fluke.

Terrible service! I have to say whoever is the manager is they better wake up and see what their employees are doing to this restaurant. The hosts are mean, rude, and DONOT know how to host! Second the servers are not good servers, it’s Friday night and it’s not busy at all, and still can’t serve. We also asked for a Heinz bottle and they bring a EMPTYBOTTLE and they thinks that’s ok??? Are you kidding me! The worst staff and the worst experience EVER!!! Manager please wake up and see what’s going on!!!

This business is what a restaurant should be, the staff is friendly, even when arriving very late at night, and there is always someone to greet you at the door. They put on a great free meal for the vets each year and the wait staff are very attentive. Pros: The wait staff are always close by so you are never left looking for the check, or waitng for a refill. The food is good, and the atmosphere is lively. The décor is nice but not over done. Cons: The tv’s are a little distracting for people in the booths because they are in eyesight but not at any angle for viewing unless you are at the bar portion.

It’s something that you almost hate to admit because it’s a chain, right? But I love eating here. There’s nearly always someone holding the door open to welcome you inside. The food is consistently good. The service is always fast, always friendly. The restaurant is always clean. I love the 2 for $ 20 menu. Oh… and for dessert, have a Blondie, the greatest pile of sweetness ever created. What more can I say?
