Yes, you can get the best glasses in the world, in Walnut Creek. This place is totally cool, and their customer service is second to none. Extremely professional and a large selection of frames.

Can’t speak for the optometrists but Occhi has the best selection of eyeglasses anywhere within at least a one hour radius, and possibly more.
When I first walked in, I was disappointed to see such a small area after looking through so many LensCrafters for the right glasses. But then I started to see that I liked nearly every frame and had to choose between them, whereas in LensCrafters I could never find a single nice frame.
Don’t expect to see promotions like «50% off lenses with a frame purchase» here, these are high-​end glasses that are obviously meant to last. Walked in hoping to pay half of what I actually spent, but came out happy and knowing they’ll last twice as long as anything from other stores and look twice as good :].
I should also add that they do have lower cost, but still designer brand frames there. However it was very hard for me to turn away from their high end lines.
