Not sure what Barry E. is talking about. I have had nothing but amazing experiences at Walnut Creek Optical. I’ve been a loyal client for more than 15 years and highly recommend their services. The office is divided up into two sections. One part of the office is a doctor’s office and the other part of the office is a retail optical store. I look forward to my annual check-​ups as all of the doctors are very kind and knowledgeable. Throughout the years, I have had appointments with Dr. Chan, Dr. Barakeh, and Dr. Wang. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an Optometrist. After my check-​ups, I always stop by the retail store to select a new pair of glasses. The ladies at the retail store are great and really make you feel at home as you are always greeted with a smile. They are very patient and will take the time to order glasses for you if they do not have a particular style of a brand that they carry. It really is hard to find such great service like this nowadays and for that reason I continue to come back and do my business at Walnut Creek Optical.

Nice, friendly service! It is great to be able to get my exam and go next door for glasses! The hard part is choosing a frame, lots to choose from. The ladies in the optical shop were knowledgeable and found me the perfect frame! I LOVE my glasses!!!

I’ve been at both locations and have been very happy with the service I received. Julia helped me with my first pair of progressives, and I love them. She has a talent for helping you find the right frame. I’ve always been fearful of picking out new glasses, but not anymore. I also have had her help with repairs and adjustments, and I’ve been pleased each time. I value the knowledge and skill of the opticians at this business.

I needed new nose pads and the
sales people were busy.
The Optometrist came out and told me he would charge me $ 12. This is a procedure most Opticians either do as a courtesy or charge $ 5. I told him I would go elsewhere.
How foolish and greedy is that?
I would never return to this business for new eyeglasses.
