The best Starbucks I’ve been to, ever:) all of the employees each time have made me smile and made me feel like a valued customer by trying to get to know me. One of the gals there knows that I like to try new things so will give me an update and taste of the new drinks coming out, one in particular I remember was the graham latte. But the thing that made me want to come back here the most is a barista that went above and beyond for me:) I forgot her name but I told her I was having a horrible year and she made my day by really caring and sympathizing for me(I was literally on the brink of tears). No barista or retail person has done that for me. If Starbucks were more like this one, I would be thrilled but this one I will return to this one consistently just because I know they don’t see their customers as $, they see them as individuals

I came here at 3pm on a Monday and there are tons of kids here. Tons of middle/high schoolers here super rowdy with a line out the door for frappacinos. However, the staff is super nice and not only are they patient, they learned most of their names. The store is really clean and also really small. There is a single café table by the front window, long bench table, and three more café tables in front of the bathroom. There are outlets by the window and all along the back wall. If I am in the area, I will come back for the fast WiFi and bountiful outlets. Trader Joe’s next door and there are plenty of street parking as well. Probably will try to avoid the 3−4pm crazy kids but otherwise a pretty solid Starbucks. The bathroom was out of order when I was there. Hopefully they get that fix so I can keep downing my black ice tea. P. S. Compared to the other stores, this one doesn’t have a display case of cups and tumblers.

Convenient, right downtown, but usually a long line. Baristas are all nice and try to go fast but sometimes they just can’t keep up with the rush.

This is the closest SB to us, but seems to take a lot longer to get your order through and you tend to be in the line longer(regardless of how busy it is). If you are hanging out downtown and need a drink while shopping, this beats the one behind CPK, and it’s much better to work from or have meetings in. If you are a coffee person and you’re not just looking for a hang-out/meeting spot, go a couple blocks over to Locust and visit Peet’s Coffee & Tea ;)

Being a blue-blooded American, I have been to my fair share of Starbucks. I’ve probably had more Grande SVL(Skinny Vanilla Latte’s) than I’ve had first dates. It’s disturbing. In the past I have suffered from poor customer service; therefore motivating me to discontinue my SVL love affair and visit their noteworthy competitor, Peets. Alas, this particular Starbucks changed my opinion. This Starbucks made me question my decision. Long story short– I am in love. Why? First off the customer service was WONDERFUL. They were very nice and efficient. Not a long line, friendly staff.(Very much appreciated when you haven’t been pumped full of caffeine.) Another perk, they had these cute cut-outs of all the employees with their custom orders on it. I have to admit that I am always curious as to what the barista orders and I’ll ask. It was like this Starbucks read my mind. This Starbucks had cute pictures of their regulars on the wall. I loved it. This store really brought back the old mom and pop feel that it often associated with quaint coffee shops. If I lived in Walnut Creek I would be here every day. The manager has done an excellent job in staffing and decorations. KUDOS! (I can’t remember the guy who helped us but he likes 7 pumps of vanilla in his coffee and also likes it served extra hot.)
