Yuck. I really don’t care for Starbucks, but I was at Target and hadn’t had my coffee that morning. Like so many other chains, they charge a «vegan tax» for soy mik(no almond here, but coconut milk). The mocha proved to be too cold and not that great, but there wasn’t anything to be gained from taking it back. I’ll continue to avoid Starbucks if at all possible. At least until they start offering vegan snacks. Then I’ll think about it.

There’s something about Target’s Starbucks. They always suck. This particular location is constantly super slow and the employees are anything but excited to be at work. Almost every customer standing waiting makes comments to the staff making sure they’re drink isn’t screwed up, which happened to me twice in one visit. I come here because it’s the only Starbucks on this end of downtown but I wish I didn’t have to.

Finally I got on photo what I know I’ve seen in the past at this Target N. Main Starbucks — flies in the pastry display … So gross

I live so close to this Starbucks shop, but I dread coming here. Now I avoid coming here altogether. Every time I’ve been here they are training new employees… It’s never ending. Just once I want to see a seasoned barista who knows what they’re doing. On multiple occasions the barista or cashier has asked me how to make a caramel macchiato. Umm… I thought I was paying you to make the drink. Shouldn’t Starbucks employees know how to make standard drinks on their own menu. Oh yea, sometimes they don’t take out the trash often enough, so customers have to smell it while they wait for their drink.

The coffee never tastes the same twice, but the staff is always very friendly, efficient and extra sweet. The sitting area is for both the café side and dining customers — seating is often messy as a result and of course noisy due to its location. Pay attention to their coffee specials — they have things like unlimited refills for a month or similar offers that the weekly repeat Target customers are likely to benefit from. The location offers everything you’d find at a full size café including take away items, refillable mugs, whole bean, gifts, etc. The baristas aren’t allowed to accept tips since it’s within Target so 5 stars to them!

I used to come to this Starbucks all the time not only because I’m addicted to Starbucks but because it’s the most convent thing for me. After today I’m finding another place to go! The cashier was nice but the barista had never heard of what I ordered and she asked me if I was sure it even exisisted. I showed her the recipe on the secret recipe on the secret menu even though starbucks pulled it off of that and put it on the actual menu. So she made and I tried it was way off I couldn’t taste the cinnamon in the cinnamon roll frappachino so I went back and said something and she told me she didn’t know what I was talking about because that’s the recipe she was given she redid it for me and now it’s just a vinilla bean frappachino with cinommon sprinkled on it. What a waste! I know a good frappachino when I have one and this is gross! She claimed to be a new barista and not know anything. Starbucks if you hire baristas hire ones that actually read and follow the costumes recipe not there own. #justsayin
