Big open area, friendly baristas, and plenty of electrical outlets. This is a really great starbucks to study and is located close to the BART station. There is a corner with benches and a bunch of tables so plenty of place to put things and plug in your lap top

At first walking in I saw a long line and thought it would take forever. The team here is super quick and very friendly! Thank you for your awesome service despite how crazy busy it was! You guys are awesome!

I rarely ever write any reviews but this place definitely deserves one for their crappy service. The girl that wears glasses here was very rude towards me and I even witnessed her treating her coworkers badly also. Will never return again and will be telling all my friends and family about this horrible place also.

I’ve gone to this Starbucks off and on the past few years when I’m in town, and I must say the service has certainly downgraded. When I used to come in the mornings, there were was a rather energetic and happy crew. I mainly remember Rosa, she always remembered my drink and greeted me with a smile. I was told that she moved unfortunately to a different store. Nowadays, when I come in, things seem disorganized. It looks like there’s a lot of new baristas and I’ve felt rather dissatisfied with not only the customer service I’m provided but also the beverage quality. I’m pretty sure I’ve had the manager himself(Paul ?) make me some poorly made beverages. Sometimes I feel like he doesn’t even acknowledge his customers or set a good example for his employees. Very disappointing. The only appeal about this store is the hours though.

I have had a lot of work to do on the computer lately, and this Starbucks has been a pleasant alternative to working at home! There are plenty of chairs, outlets for about half the seating, and the store receives a lot of sunshine! The service and coffee is about average for a Starbucks(so pretty good), and they are open until 11pm most days! Great news for the night owls! Walgreens next door is 24hrs if you need to grab something on your way out, and there is plenty of free parking. Oh, bring a sweater or jacket if you plan to stay awhile. Their AC works REALLY well.

So you have the standard starbucks-like things, that you expect at every location, because they are a chain. These homogeneous items(coffee, décor, prices, etc) you probably already have your own opinion about, so I won’t discuss them here. A huge plus for this location is it’s hours. It’s open till 11:30pm, which is very convenient for any of us clock-punchers that can’t normally make it out to coffee until after dinner. Because of the hours, the police come in regularly, so you can be reasonably assured your car is safe in the parking lot. You also get an opportunity to express your gratitude to these hard-working folks who literally risk their life every time they go to work. There are a couple groups of people who come in all the time. They take over entire sections, and watch youtube videos at full volume without headphones — I’m not kidding. Because of this(I guess), the internet is so slow and unreliable that you’re better off tethering internet from your phone.

Worst Starbucks in Walnut Creek. Pretty sure the barista stole my gift card money that I asked him to reload… balance never uploaded. Contacted James, apparently the supervisor, who made me wait for over 10 minutes before I asked for a managers card. James never acknowledged me when I revisited the store to inquire about the missing gift card money. When I asked for the managers card I was told they didn’t have one. I am writing corporate tonight.

The service is pretty good and fast. I really like the holiday drinks, especially the chestnut praline! Make sure you get the stamps, so that after your fifth holiday drinks, you get one free!

Very convenient location and they open late! Perfect for last minute study cramming sessions. They make your drink in a reasonable amount of time. Never had any trouble with them.

I’ve never had a problem at this Starbucks. The baristas are quick and attentive even when there is a line. The drinks are consistently made well. It’s located next to a walgreens and a bevmo too, which is nice. The only downside to this Starbucks is the parking lot. It’s time consuming to leave from both exits, especially during the afternoon with so many cars passing by. :(

I love Starbucks and this location isn’t any different for me. The food is good and their service is pretty fast in general. On one occasion, they got my drinks wrong and the manager comped my whole purchase, about $ 15.00 worth! I was surprised and impressed by this. They are also open until 1130PM which is great. On the other hand, on more than one occasion, I’ve had to wait at the counter while an employee stands by the register and and does not acknowledge for several moments even though they see me. They might be doing something else and I am patient but it would be nice for a customer quality«hello».

I knew there was a reason I don’t come to this Starbucks location! These baristas are totally incapable! I have the same order every where I go. Nothing complicated other than the fact that I ask for my iced mocha with NO ice… The order is an iced grande quad skinny mocha no ice. So why in the hell would you you give me a cold order make it a hot drink & yet still poor it into a cold PLASTIC cup & hand me a practically melted beverage container? To top it off forget the rest of the drink? … This barista handed me a ¼ cup filled grande plastic cup??? In addition to all this… Where is the rest of the drink??? I brought it to the cashier & asked him what it was?!? This location would have gotten a negative star; but I gave it the 1 star, only because the cashier remade the drink himself, & gave me a voucher for next time.

This isn’t one of my regular ‘Bucks locations but it was a convenient stop after dinner nearby to grab some coffee and continue the evening, so we popped in around 8 on a Tuesday night. We were surprised to see there was only one available table, so we grabbed it quick. This was quite the happening spot, who knew! I got the feeling the guy who took my order was training — he seemed quite nervous, and didn’t have that usual Starbucks zipzipzip quickness. Our drinks came quickly and accurately, but a problem that commonly plagues me(I really should have learned my lesson by now) is that when I order my standard iced grande nonfat white mocha, I also have to specifically say no whipped cream. My brain says«If I want nonfat milk, why the F would I want whipped cream?» but hey, I’m sure that person is out there. 90% of the time, they ask for confirmation on whipped cream. 5% of the time I remember to tell them to leave it off. And like last night, 5% of the time I just get whipped cream. Dammit — I hate being wasteful, but I would never ask them to remake a drink over what is ultimately my own screw-up. I just wish he had asked. I’ll never learn! The condiment area was clean up top but littered with tons of sugar packets on the floor, like maybe they had fallen when the trash had last been emptied. Not awful but sitting at a nearby table my eyes were repeatedly drawn to it. All in all, a decent and acceptable Starbucks but just enough stumbles that they won’t become my regular spot.

Havent figured out why Walnut Creek seems to have lots of late night coffee shops. Glad they do so I can get caffeine on the way back from cross state road trips. 11.30pm on a Sunday night is totally welcome. Picked up a La Boulange almond croissant and a black iced tea for the road. Definitely hit the spot. Oh yeah because it’s open so late there were 4 sheriff and 1WC police all over the parking lot so Im pretty sure you wont get robbed here.

I hate to be a hater, but Starbucks continues to disappoint in every way possible. Their soy lattes are terrible. They always seem to taste overly sweet. It doesn’t have the same rich espresso flavor as other coffee shops. They obviously serve an inferior product, and yet their storefronts are everywhere, so they are unavoidable. I was feeling sluggish after a long weekend of heavy drinking(and by heavy drinking, I mean five beers in 2 days). Damn Brandi! Calm it down, you freakin’ lush. Sarcasm aside, a Starbucks soy latte is a real joke. The one I had today tasted like steamed milk with nothing else in it. Did the barista forget to put the espresso shot in the bottom? I’ll admit, Starbucks has this salad I like in their display case. It contains kale, butternut squash, roasted beets, broccoli, red cabbage… some of my most favorite vegetables! Unfortunately, this one tasted really off. The expiration date was today, but perhaps it was not refrigerated properly, because it was gross, gross, gross. Bad lattes happen. A bad salad is simply unforgivable in my eyes. Note to self: stop being irresponsible and frequenting franchises, you naughty consumer. Get your caffeine fix someplace else!

NICEOUTDOORSEATINGAREA A few tables out front in the sun, a couple in the shade, and all the seating inside this Starbucks is really a nice perk about this location. I have always found service to be quick here. I lived a few blocks away for many years(at my parents house). The biggest inconvenience here is that you can’t drive directly from this parking lot into the one with the BevMo next door. It’s hard for me to turn down a cold frappaccino, especially on the hot days. Seriously, I have no self control. Extra whipped cream, please. We had to join a gym recently to counter all the whipped in my life. I had a friend that worked here years ago and I used to come in from time to time just to say hello. I don’t know if they had free wifi then but they definitely do now. Just like most Starbucks, you see people sipping their drinks at tables while pecking away at laptop keys. If this location were closer to home we’d be happy to frequent here, but the smaller Starbucks on Treat is nice too!

Definitely won’t be coming back here soon. Customer service was ridiculous. Came in and there was no line so I stood in front of the glowing glass of light that displayed their pastries, which now they sell some La Boulange goodies! After I was looking, I went up to the register and I just LOVE their hazelnut syrup and I wasn’t too sure if they still had it since I only ordered their salted caramel toffee nut latte during the winter so I decided to ask and this is basically how the conversation went: Me: hi, I was just wondering if you guys have the toffee nut syrup? Worker(girl): uh. yeah. we have it all year round(sarcastic) me: okaaay. then I’ll have a tall toffee nut latte, soy and decaf. worker: *repeating the order to type through the computer* me: oh and can I get one of those ahh I can’t think right now haha worker: haaa yaaaa you can’t. RUDE. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a store before but she made me feel as if she was one of the cool kids trying to make me feel bad so she could feel better about herself. I couldn’t believe she would make anyone feel like they’re idiot’s. MYBAD that I don’t work for Starbucks and didn’t know what you had all year round and MYBAD I didn’t work for La Boulange and knew what all the pastries were called. RUDEAF. Didn’t know Starbucks was known for sarcastic, rude, workers and making their customers uncomfortable and feeling like it’s the customer’s fault for not knowing everything that is used to make their drinks.

Still friendly and awesome! Plus, they’re one of the only two Starbucks open late in Walnut Creek.
