Definitely one of my favorite Starbucks to go to in Walnut Creek. They are located downtown right next to all kinds of cute little shops and restaurants. It is located on the corner so you can’t miss the location. Because this is the only location in downtown Walnut Creek, it does tend to get rather busy, especially during the weekend and during the evening hours. The place is a bit small which can be tricky to find seating when it’s busy. The staff here are all really nice and their services here are really quick! Definitely stop by here for a study break, break from shopping, meeting with a friend, for a nice hot cup of coffee or cold iced drink of some sort. There are also plenty of parking options available which makes for access to pick up a quick drink!

Worse Starbucks ever! I don’t like to complain but this was really bad. First off poor service, device makes all the difference, I waited in line for a long time, then purchased $ 75 on gift cards and no gift card envelopes, how can they not? Then regular coffee was worm and wait for it… I ordered a soy latte and when the girl gave it to me she basically threw it at me, when I picked it up it was opened and spilled all over the counter… No, no apologies, they just got the cup and made it again… The place is dirty, there was people asking for toilet paper, they guy just told the woman to look in the mans room… Really! Never coming here again.

Great location, busy most of the time morning time they have missing products they need to work on it, how can place like this not making sure they have inventory. Nice people work there and they try.

Unfortunately this is closest and worst Starbucks to my work. I am not sure what has happened over the last 3 months but the service and organization has gone out the door. Then you add in this new online app ordering and everything is all bad. The location on California is awesome, that one is a great alternative.

After waiting in a long line they are out of almost everything. Tried three different drink orders and were told they were out of each one. The employee says they always look run out of everything at the end of the week. So don’t come here on a Friday!

I’ve stopped by a few times for my standard obsesión(Venti Cold Brew, black, no room doll) and at this point I’d just rather plod on over to the ‘Bucks on Locust Street. The service here is just infuriating. I have never seen one staff member crack a smile or even greet a guest with a friendly nod. You literally feel like you’re inconveniencing them every time you place an order, which is a pretty awkward disposition to find yourself in as a patron. Given the sheer number of Starbucks in any given city, there’s really no need to put up with any grouchy cashiers or baristas at this one just because of the neighboring parking garage. I’m good! I’ll go where my business is valued and I’m treated decently.

I have been going to this store for years but in the past few months it has become a pretty seedy place to sit and read the paper. People taking tables all day and not buying a thing. People screaming and talking to themselves. Bath rooms have become just unusable with people bathing in there and throwing trash on the floors. The baristas are all great but they have no control with any going ons in the store. I guess since there are Starbuck’s every few blocks it would be to my advantage to try another or just go to Peet’s. The end of an era for me :(

Not sure how this gets any compliments for good service. I’ve never seen an employer smile or greet anyone, all they do is talk down to you if you ask for something they can’t do. I ordered two coffees and a panini, also a venti water. He pulled out a grande cup and said, «this is all I can for you,» and then rolled his eyes. I said, «I’m sorry I didn’t know.» He then said, «well now you do.» The job market must be good in Walnut Creek because this is the only classless people available for employment. Not everyone should work with the public. Also, the bathrooms are filthy, there is body hair everywhere on the floor and on the toilet.

I received extremely rude service from two of the baristas at this location. The work atmosphere was unprofessional, the customer service was atrocious, and my drink order was wrong. I will not be visiting this location again.

This is for Zoe because the time of day I came in wasn’t the best, especially since it’s a holiday weekend and schools out. I came in today to see three baristas on the floor. One of reg, one writing cups/order support and Zoe(who thankfully was wearing a name tag) on bar just SLAMMED. Not exaggerating. As she was owning bar and just pushing out drinks & saying every single name on every cup she was beyond amazing to watch(I believe she was unaware of the speed she was going… I mean who makes drinks with a smile on their face while their bra strap is falling off like no big deal… I couldn’t do it… too uncomfortable) I was proud of how fast and how accurate she was with all drinks(sorry you had to remake mine Zoe because it was writing out wrong) but what blows my mind was I counted 8 drinks and even though there was a line to the door it didn’t even make her show a sign of panic and she was very professional. The only complaint was some lady felt the need to not get Zoe’s attention and leaned over the counter and grabbed a caramel squeeze bottle and just helped herself. Rude. The customers here just blow my mind. I believe if there was another body on bar to help either r yah they could of prevent that and all the customers who were in as much shock as myself. Anywho Zoe you are amazing! Great professionalism!

This location is conveniently located next to the BoA parking structure. I think this is the advantage this Starbucks has over the several other Starbucks in Downtown Walnut Creek. The baristas are friendly and fairly speedy despite a constant busy crowd. There aren’t very many outlets, so it’s not a very good place to study if you need to use your laptop. However, there is ample seating, indoors and outdoors. What makes this place’s coffee even better is their clover machine too!!!

As in all Starbucks reviews I look for friendly employees, nice layout, and great coffee… check check check. I like this location, beautiful inside, nice staff, nice seating outside(great view), and a seeminly all around nice clientele…

Great area, great parking… for the early birds. I stopped in here with a friend for an early morning cup of joe and am sold, despite the fact I’m not a big fan of suburbia. Long espresso colored tables encourage sharing seats in close proximity, open design, and just overall sleekness that drips with amazing eye porn. I had a great extra hot latte and one of their spinach wraps to go. Staff are quick, the line efficient, and they have a loyal customer here the next time I swoop through town.

I feel like my love affair with Starbucks has finally returned. I mean, for a while I really was anti-Starbucks because I really dislike most of their coffee offerings. Either too sweet, too artificial, too … foamy, too latte-y, too … everything was *too*. Ever since I competed in NPC, and could only drink black coffee, I have rediscovered my love for their pike place roast. Sometimes a medium black coffee(stop asking me if I want room! …) is just what a girl needs! Plus a nice clean bathroom and a well A/C’d joint of course. Big fan, and love that it was conveniently around the corner from CREAM.

I’m a starbucks girl for sure. So, I really appreciate the nice manners and attitudes from the baristas and such. This is definitely my favorite Starbucks in the Walnut Creek area — not only are the baristas kind, this place honestly has a great location. & the inside is decent-sized. My go-to sbux whenever I’m in downtown.(Not the broadway plaza one, because they don’t have such a wide variety of choices in the bakery): so definitely, this one, which is like less than a quarter mile away). I genuinely love this Starbucks, not because it’s any different than any of the other million Starbucks in the area BUT because the customer service that you’ll receive from Kelsey, Z, Rachel, and Ezra is IMPECCABLE and UNMATCHED! I have been a faithful Starbucks customer for over 12 years and I have NEVER had my name and drink remembered! They get my cup ready while I am in line and if someone else takes my drink order, they know when something is missing. I absolutely love it! I have never tipped at Starbucks, but I tip at this one. What’s SOCRAZY about this Starbucks is that they do this for sooo many customers! I have frequented Starbucks in neighborhoods that I have lived in for a very long time and this is the only crew that has done this! And don’t get me wrong, I have received less than perfect service at this Starbucks, but its ONLY when my fantastic four(yes, its corny) is not there. I am happiest when I see the fore mention four because they make this Starbucks great.

Located in the heart of Walnut Creek’s downtown area, this Starbucks, at the corner of Main and Duncan, is a busy, bustling coffee shop. We were lucky to only have two people ahead of us when we stopped by recently on a Monday mid-afternoon, but the line was soon out the door. We barely found a place to sit, even though there is a fair amount of inside seating(I counted seven tables and 30+ seats, including one long, 10 seat table). Nice window tables/counters(if you can get them) look out on the downtown area. Outdoor seating is available as well. A wide variety of customers were enjoying their coffee, including an unfortunate person being interviewed by a well-dressed business type in the middle of this noisy Starbucks. Our two orders, a tall white chocolate mocha latte, and a short cinnamon dolce latte, were well-made and delicious. Service was friendly and relatively quick. Bonus: this Starbucks location features a Clover machine for custom brewed coffee made from specialty roasts. This option is only available in select Starbucks locations. Parking is the biggest negative here, as is the case with most downtown Walnut Creek businesses. This place is perfect if you are already downtown, but the hassle factor is such that I can’t imagine a scenario where I would stop by here otherwise.
