The staff is very sweet, and the pastries are surprisingly fresh! Even when it gets a little busy, the staff keeps the line moving fast. Right now, there isn’t much of a view because of the massive construction project at Nordstrom, but it is still very relaxing to sit with a cup of joe.

Favorite coffee shop everrrrrrr! The baristas are the best, super friendly, fast and seem happy to work there. There’s one barista in particular, curly-haired girl with two nose rings, shes always SO nice and always does a fantastic job. She’s the best! Two thumbs way up to this place for sure. ;)

OMG! It SMELLS like urine? Dirty toilet? An old ashtray? Unsanitary acidic stinch? Not sure what exactly it is-but it killed my appetite and ruined my moment of bliss waiting for my Matcha latte. The associates there also didn’t seem to care and actually not give a shit about anything either. Yay for millennials with attitude and working in stank. And REALLY!?-a Nordstrom branch? Ew.

I think I came in on a bad day. There was only one woman working and the line was building up. The iced soy latte was just«meh.»

This place is perfect to come for s quick coffee or a protein type meal. They also have cool salads and sandwiches and amazing pastas. But nonstick to the salmon salad and salmon veggie plate. Amaz-balls.

I came here yesterday and got the lemon aioli pasta salad. It was absolutely delicious. There was an issue that occurred between a staff member and a customer and it had attracted the attention of all customers. The staff did a great job dealing with it and I was really impressed by how calm the staff member stayed! Also, I am not a fan of coffee, but I tried their sample of iced coffee with raspberry pumps and was crazy about it! Very delicious.

I have only been here once, but I already love it for so many reasons. Healthy option reasons that is. I came in to get a small cup of coffee while doing some shopping, and to my surprise, they offer a surprisingly decent selection of healthy snack options to choose from. For example– Yogurt Parfaits with Greek Yogurt instead of the standard yogurt, healthier sandwich options, hard boiled eggs… and a few additional items I cant recall, but they all looked delish. Not to mention the deliciously appealing pastry goods on display. Now I only had the coffee which turned out decent, but all their additional items certainly struck enough curiosity for me to want to return and try these healthier items. Service was also sincere and friendly. Certainly a more refreshing alternative compared to Starbucks.

They have almond milk! I wish the rest of the Bay Area coffee scene would get with the program! Their cold brew didn’t even need sweetener. Excellence.

It was so warm out yesterday! Had to quench my thirst with a tall strawberry lemonade iced tea. The bf just got some bottle water. Whenever we stop by, they’re super fast and always friendly. Keep up the great work e-bar!

My cousin and I came here after we gave up on all the long lines at Starbucks. First off, the place is quite clean and our servers were very nice. I got a small *talle*, Sunburst drink which apparently is a ginger tea with orange juice and raspberry syrup. It was delicious! The wait wasn’t long for my order. Laura L. got the strawberry banana smoothie which I thought was pretty good too. I tasted more fruit than the usual smoothies at other stores. so it was all pluses here.

WTF? Some of the reviews are pretty bad! I actually love this place! It’s really hard work shopping at Nordstrom, and I usually grab a Pomegranate Smoothie to sustain me for my shopping adventure. Sometimes, I get a Decaf Latte. If there’s a line, I don’t go in(I don’t stand in lines). I can go to the bubblers(Yeah, I’m from Wisconsin) in the store. So, the service is usually OK, but sometimes it’s a bit slow. I don’t like to waste time, so I place my order and run off to the shoe department. When I come back(with my Michael Kors 4 inch heels), my order is waiting for me!

Poor knowledge and horrible customer service. I went in to get an accessory for a device called Toddy which I have been using for months. I asked the girl barista about the Toddy and she did not know what I was talking about and second it’s displayed on the shelf. I needed a plug for the device and filters. Then she tells me that she did not know a plug existed for the Toddy when they use it themselves to make coffee. After that she decided to tell me I do not need a plug because they do not use it at the bar for themselves. I once again told that it does and the directions indicate for the use of the device. Frustrating. Please do argue with your customers barista girl.

Service, quick is not a word in any ones vocabulary. I have given up on ordering any beverage here. Products, Veggie wrap is always soggy even though they are«made fresh daily». Female employees of Nordstroms what the hell, you are here every day. The menu is not that extensive learn it! Some of us in line are on a break and don’t have all day while you him-n-haw.

I was lured in by their signage outside promising me a delicious Mocha Bianco. Since I’d walked past this new coffee bar during their build-out, I was intrigued to try out what looked like an upscale version of a Peets/Tullys/Starbucks. Service was amusingly unorganized. The kids working behind the cash register and as baristas don’t seem to know what they’re doing. Plus, it doesn’t pick up the Nordstrom wifi on that side of the building! When they finally did make my drink, it was tasty. However, there was a great deal of white chocolate syrup on the bottom of the cup that had not been properly blended in with the espresso. It was an overly sweet espresso beverage, which I happened to be in the mood for at the time. However, I now walk by this coffee bar without stopping in. Once was enough. Now I know why they don’t offer frequent buyer cards. They don’t want people to become frequent customers.: o)

So I’m giving this place four stars because I love what I order and I stick to it. That said, it might not be everyones cup of tea(or coffee, rather). My favorite: Spiced chai with an add shot of espresso. Now the chai they make here is WAY better than Starbucks or anywhere else I’ve tried. They mix it with milk, not water(a travesty), and its not too sweet with the shot of espresso. The shot really gives it some great character too. If you like chai, you won’t be disappointed. Also, the muffins are fantastic, but they usually sell out early. Besides the muffins the pastry selection is too much on the sweet-side for my taste. Another note that makes Nordstrom’s ebar stand out: the guys who make the coffee told me that when a coffee shop pulls a shot for a drink, it actually makes two shots. A lot of places will use the second shot in your drink even if its been setting around for a long time. Here, if they don’t use it in a minute, they toss it. Small detail, but old espresso is like, well, old coffee. Just ain’t the same. I have yet to convince them to give me the second shot for free though(and oh, have I tried), so good luck there.

This is basically Nordstrom’s equivalent to Sbucks. One thing that is different is that they still grind the beans and pack the espresso pods. No fully automatic espresso machines here… A good selection of pastries and snacks too. I prefer their hot coffee drinks to their blended beverages, but the cookies and cream Ice Storm is my favorite of those, with 2 shots of espresso instead of the coffee powder.

Yesterday on my lunch walk w/Sher K, we stopped off @ Nordstrom eBar We’ve passed this place enough times & I finally wanted to try out the intriguing poster since I’m a fan of mint choc chip *tee-hee* LOCATION: Located outside of Nordstrom @ Broadway Plaza Mall, South side of Nordstrom by the Ladies Shoe Dept entrance & mall garage parking lot, & across from Clark’s Shoe Store. CAFE: Inside is pretty much like all other café spots About several 4-seater tables w/umbrellas outside; no seating inside. In addition to coffees, teas, & smoothies, they offer in their cooling bar premade sandwiches, parfaits, salads, other snacks, & variety of mugs to purchase(sounds familiar to Starbucks & Peets, right). The place is clean & spacious… mommies w/strollers won’t run into the back of ur heel here, as mommies w/strollers do frequent this spot. DRINK: I got the Small Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Storm while Sher K got the Small Pomegranate Iced Tea . I was terribly terribly disappointed in my MCC Ice Storm! The choc chip pieces did not come up smoothly through the straw(I’m use to sucking problems w/tapioca/pearl drinks, not a choc chip shake. wth!) & the mint taste was just bizzarre honestly(think I was comparing my memory-taste to Baskin Robbins & it was NOT the same). Now those who have come to know me via-Yelp & those who’ve known me a long time, know I’m a girl who LOVES food & raised not to waste food… in this case, I could not finish this drink. I tried(mom I swear I did), but I threw away prob ¼ or 2⁄3 of it. Now Sher K made out better than I w/her Pomegranate Ice Tea… she let me taste this & definitely worth coming back to! My final tab was $ 3.85 for my MCC Ice Storm. I will not buy that ever again, & recommend that you do NOT waste $ 3.85 for it as I did yesterday =(If I come back, I’ll likely get the Pomegranate Ice Tea & we’ll see then about a Review-Update w/a higher star rating. — — — — — - Menu 1(Ice Storms) Menu 2(Espresso & Iced/Other) Menu 3(Speciality Coffee & Smoothies)
