Always come here for the UFC fight night, Its very crowded but very fun. Food menu is limited but good.

Not sure if I want to stay for a full 3-hour game on a Sunday/Monday/Thursday night, but the place has a good vibe to it if you don’t mind the crowds for a while. And it will be crowded there, it usually is. 20+ draft beers and 40+ flat screens of all shapes and sizes surround the bar, though the projection screens flicker on and off periodically. Servers are friendly but getting their attention during game nights can be a challenge. $ 3 for a dog and $ 6 and up for a sandwich is quite reasonable, but fries and other sides are a la carte and don’t automatically come with them. Their Reuben is worth a try, with lean, juicy meat and not over-soggy with sauerkraut.

Great calamari! Nice environment for Saturday college football. They are super accommodating about changing the channel to our school’s game.

What kind of pub sells beer at 9AM but doesn’t serve lunch until past 12:30PM? How much scrambled eggs with beer can a person have in the morning?! This place would be a whole lot better if their kitchen can get their act together and serve lunch at 11AM.

Typical dive bar in Walnut Creek who over charges based on the area. It didn’t stop me from having fun. The bartenders and waiters were very nice. I ended up leaving earlier than I anticipated because I was hungry. The food leaves little to be desired.

Service sure is the worse here. Came to visit the area from southern California and our local hosts recommended this bar to come watch the football game. the bar is great, Good space, and lots of televisions. However, i have yet to find any descent waitresses or bartenders. I went to the bar to ask for an extra glass, and they said just wait here because she had to go somewhere,(the glasses were right next to her!!!). Then back at our table, i asked a server if i could order wings and she rolled her eyes and said that she will get our server, game is almost over and still have not had a server come to our table. Then i asked another server, she just mumbled under her breath and kept walking as she put her hand up, so i know she heard me talking to her. Ultimately: great bar, horrible service.

Don’t come here. Beware you will not get any service at all whatsoever. We’ve been here for an hour now and yet… still nothing. I just want some wings and fries. Every waiter that we have flagged down has not give us any attention or get our order. The owner of this place SHOULDREALLYREAD their Unilocal reviews and fire ALL their current waiters and just start over. I’m so fed up.

This place is horrible. I have been here for almost 2 hours asking for service to order food and drinks but the waiters keep yelling at my group and saying«I’ll get your waiter» or «hold on» or «I don’t have time». So I decide to wait in line for food and after waiting for 30 minutes I finally get to the front and the bartender/waiter says«you need to find a waiter to get food». Bottom line if you expect to get good service or expect to even eat or drink then don’t come here. Was a total waste of time. There are plenty of other places showing the game.

Stadium is a rarity in downtown Walnut Creek… First because it’s a sport bar in an area where there just aren’t that many. Second because it’s one of the few places that just really is not service oriented and lastly because it’s relatively cheap in an area where everything is over-priced. Service: There are a few very kind waitresses here but they’re drastically overshadowed by the really awful ones. Most are too busy socializing or drinking at the bar get your order correct or get your next drink. Like I said great customer service isn’t a staple here. Food: So far we’ve really liked everything, chicken strips were good, sandwiches good, no complaints! They also have a few $ 3 items, can’t beat that. Drinks: We usually keep it simple with some on tap domestics. $ 5 per pint. Served cold. Sports: This is a great spot to be when you want to watch the game but you don’t really care about the outcome. They have tons of TVs and projector screens, some are easier to see and better quality than others, sound is hit or miss. but mostly a miss, so don’t expect to hear that game. Overall: I’m not unhappy with Stadium, I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there, but it’s a decent, affordable spot to go with friends and have a good time while the games on.

This is a staple– and only– sports bar in downtown walnut creek. I’ve spent a majority of my college life coming here for taco Tuesdays and sport events. Unfortunately this is mostly out of necessity than from enjoyment. In all my times here the staff has NEVER gotten out order right. Busier nights I understand, but the slow nights? I’ve lived with this until tonight when they gave my dinner to the table next to me. I asked them if it was my order and was assured no, it was not. 45 minutes later when I asked, they said«oops, must have been given to someone else» and pointed at the other table. Weird, I thought you said no it wasn’t earlier… Letting bygones be bygones I asked for them to remove it, told no problem. 1 hour later when my bill showed up, I see my mystery meal added o my bill. The server even gave me some attitude when i informed her I wasn’t paying for a meal i didn’t receive. Seriously!!! I’m not paying for your mistakes. I’ve put up with this consistent attitude and miscommunications for six years– including one gal upfront lying to us about a tv not working– but tonight was my tipping point. Thanks but no thanks, I rather go somewhere else that treats customers like customers.

Been there to watch few sporting events. Great place, bunch of beers and traditional pub food. Actually coming back today to watch a soccer World Cup qualifier match!

Not impressed. Cool sports bar atmosphere with a lot of stuff on the walls and a metric crap ton of TVs, but it sort of stops there. Took us about a decade to get served and we were served nearly one drink at a time. As in, for 5 people, we had to flag the bartenders down 3 separate times even though we were all standing right there together for a month or two. Regulars or friends of the bartenders would just saunter up to the bar and be attended to before people obviously standing around the bar waiting for a while. We waited so long we were probably three minutes from leaving; that’s how I know it was an unacceptable wait time. We waited so long the person who went to hold a table came back to the bar because she was embarrassed sitting there alone for so long. Yeah, the bar was busy, and yeah, being a bartender at a busy bar is a tough gig, but I’ve been to bars(Stock & Trade in SF comes to mind) where 2 or 3 bartenders were attending to twice as many people and no one person would have to wait more than two or three minutes because the bartenders would sequentially serve people based on when they arrived at the bar without a drink in hand. So yeah, maybe a great experience if you went to high school with the bartenders or something. That way you can just leap frog everyone standing around at the bar like an idiot. I would only come back if I were with friends who had to go to a sports bar to watch a UFC event, and even then I would order absolutely nothing unless the bar were nearly empty.

Waited 35 minutes for a drink and when I told the bartender we have been waiting 35 minutes and I showed her the timer, she told us to go to another bar. Worst service ever, would expect way more out of walnut creek. Would give 0 stars if I could

It’s a bar. In walnut creek. Getting past that issue… The serving staff is really good and the place is clean enough. There should be more bathrooms. Other than that, this place is the go to bar in Walnut creek.

Went to Stadium Pub for my first time and it was a cool experience. We started off with $ 2 happy hour Modelo Especial, margaritas, and I believe a Lagunitas. The place was definitely casual and sports on all TVs. I we t around 530 on a week day and the cliental seemed to be of the 30 – 40 crowd after work. We ordered buffalo wings, cheese sticks, and fried zucchini. The wings were good but not true. Buffalo wings. It like they did bbq sauce first and then buffalo sauce. Maybe it’s what they are going for. If that’s the case, call them Stadium Pub wings or something because they are not buffalo wings. Now the zucchini was awesome. Nice long shards of parmesan cheese coated the top of these fried pieces. A definite must have. Cheese sticks are, well, just that… cheese sticks. They real winner here was the Chicken cheese steak. Obviously there is no steak in this but it was in the style of one. Personally, I love when the onions and peppers still have a little crunch to them and this delivered. The taste was unreal and I must say my mouth is watering now a week later as I write this. Overall, a great place to hang with the buds after work, a round of golf(as we did), or catch the game.

Great sports bar with good pub grub. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the place and the cheap prices for the middle of Walnut Creek. There were plenty of tables free when we went in on a Friday night. We plopped down at a table looking out onto Main and were quickly served. They have a great selection of draft beers – 4 IPAs on draft – for under $ 5 each. They also have Angry Orchard cider on draft, which means my wife can drink for about half the price of normal(she hates beer and normally drinks wine). Food was classic pub grub, well done at good prices. I had fish n chips and the missus had a pastrami Reuben. Since I’m English and she’s from New York we are quite demanding about our home town foods. Both were good, fresh and flavorful. The prices were reasonable – which for Walnut Creek means they’re unusually cheap. They have hotdogs for $ 3. The Reuben was about $ 10 and the fish about $ 12. Food and drink came to $ 33 plus tip. While I probably wouldn’t make the Stadium the centerpiece of a night out, I’m sure we will back.

Always come here for taco Tuesday’s! So sad the shrimp option is gone but beef and fish is still good. $ 2 tacos and $ 2(strong!) margaritas

Admittedly, we checked this place out on a very challenging night — Saturday night of the first round of the NCAA basketball tournament. Place was packed but few seemed to be watching sports. More like a bachelorette party, meet-your-friends kind of place. Food was not bad. Nothing special, but the fries were crisp and not greasy. Server was very friendly, although she was too busy to check in more than once. Not her fault.

Came down here for the 1st time for taco Tuesday and it was amazing. Great Tuesday nights specials for tacos and Ribs and drinks. Great friendly service too will be coming back in the future for taco Tuesday. Great place to watch any of your favorites sports team play. They have plenty of TVs too.

After a great meal at Sunol Creek here in downtown WC, I headed to Stadium Pub to meet up with some local coworkers of mine. My friend said, «Stadium Pub works because they don’t charge a cover!» We get there…$ 5 cover because of the UFC fight. Ugghhh… I’m not a fan of the UFC but I did end up watching it that night but hey, $ 5 was worth it. Stadium Pub is indeed a sports bar to the extreme sense. No drink menus and I know that they did have food but not a single menu in sight. They had the beer listed on the napkin dispensers in there and after we had one in front of us, it was snatched away to be given to someone else to look at. They weren’t too many great beers to choose from and honestly, when coming from a gastropub to here, it really isn’t a fair comparison. The best way that I can describe The Stadium Pub is that it’s very local and has a comfortable vibe without a lot of pretentiousness. They have their local regular customers and their favorite bartender/wait staff. In that respect, I give them their props for filling the role of the«local pub» but that night, I certainly didn’t feel as accepted or comfortable as the other locals around me. Sorry Stadium Pub, it just might not be meant to be.
