Please don’t purchase Whirlpool refrigerators. I advise everyone to not purchase this certain item. I purchase new Whirlpool refrigerator then it broke down after less than one month so I got replacement after I threw away all the food. But the second one broke down as well. This time repair guy came twice but no avail. I couldn’t get the money back from this conned purchase. What a nightmare. And then I regret that I should have bought better brand name like GE.

Avoid whirlpool! I have owned my fridge for just over one year now and it already has had trouble making ice twice. Of course their warranty is only good for one year and all my repairs going forward will be out of pocket. Congratulations whirlpool… you make a product that can last about a year!

Spoke with Whirlpool about the washermachine(Whirlpool Duo) eating brand new $ 50 shirts. First wash and here is what it did to wifes brand spanking new Columbia shirt! Whirlpool knows of the problem as a manufacturing defect but refuses to supply parts or fix the issue. They want us to have service people come out and take on the problems and cost. If they wont stand behind their defective high cost($ 2,000) machines I must warn all people and will never ever consider any whirlpool appiiance ever again. Whirlpool you stink!

Whirlpool front load washing machine — purchased a brand new set for over $ 2K and nothing but issues from day one — the machine started to smell within the first month — we called to complain and was told to use the fresh tabs which by the way you have to buy — imagine you have to clean a washing machine that by it’s very nature should be clean 100% of the time. You also have to leave the door open when not in use — and run the fresh cleaner once a week or after it’s been sitting for more than a few day as it smells and bad. We have called for service to correct the issue on dozens of occasions and all we get is the same tired story of how to keep it clean and ITDOESN’T WORK. The last time we called we were told to run it on heavy load twice in a row, both times with fresh tabs and then run a rinse cycle and would never have the issue again. We did it even with a drought in California and the smell was kind of gone for a 10 days but back it came shortly after. A complete was of money, time and energy, will never buy Whirlpool again. The issue is the water doesn’t drain from the tank and it molds — I thought mold was a health hazard. Whirlpool knows it and they know its also a design flaw but will they fix it. NO and hell no!

Whirlpool products, and any of the other names they hide their rubbish under these days, Maytag, Roper, what ever, are in a word Crap! Whirlpool uses the cheapest products they can buy to build their junk, that is until you need the over price hunk of crap repaired, then suddenly that $ 2.00 circuit board cost $ 400.00 You are asking to be screwed by buying any of their products. Do yourself a favor and buy Samsung or LG.

I wish I would have read the previous reviews before I purchased my Whirlpool washer and dryer. We spent a lot of money on a Cabrio top loader set 2 years ago. Last week the door to the washer would not close because the plastic frame holding the glass is cracked. I looked online and all the reviews are saying it is a common thing. I gave Whirlpool a call and asked them to back their products. All they could say over and over is they’re sorry for the inconvenience and it is out of warranty. Now I have to call a repair company and pay for this lid on my own. Furthermore it sounds like I will be forced to repair the lid on regular basis until we are able to purchase a new machine because it is a design flaw. My advice: stay away from ALL Whirlpool products.

Be Warned! If you purchase a Whirlpool appliance you should know that when it needs service(and it will need service because, well, it’s a Whirlpool) you will be on a trip to hell — the hell that is A & E Factory Service. Check out the Unilocal reviews for A & E and then ask yourself why Whirlpool still uses them as their authorized repair service.

We bought a Whirlpool front loading washer/dryer combo from Airport Appliance last year. We spent over $ 2,000 in total. Everything was going fine until the beginning of this month. First, the digital display fried, making the drying process very difficult considering we couldn’t see any of the readings. It took two weeks for them to get the part and replace it. Big inconvenience, right? Well last week the entire dryer unit failed. No display, no power, no drying. .. NOTHING! Whirlpool ordered the part and arranged to have the it installed today. The guy showed up, replaced the part and turned it on. Guess what happened. .. the circuit board he just replaced fried instantly. Now, according to Whirlpool policy, we have to reorder more parts and try again. That means another week at the least. So now I’m sitting here with a pile of dirty clothes and a tab for almost $ 900(thank god it’s under warranty). Can you believe that Whirlpool is preferring to spend another $ 1,000 to repair this thing when it cost about that much to buy? Poor business model and horrible policies. Stay away from Whirlpool appliances. They suck!

My front loading washing machine is leaking. It happened for the first time about 6 – 7 months ago and only happened about once a month or two. I did a load this morning and *surprise* it happened again — only this time it was WAY more water — it looked like a flood. I have been researching and it seems that it might be the rubber sealing thing because the water is only leaking from the bottom/front of the washer. I dont know what to do. I just ordered a replacement sealer thing and I am hoping it works. I have read that some people have repair men come out and fix everything and it still leaked! I am so mad! I hate doing laundry enough as it is and this situation makes me hate it more!
