Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Staff provided courteous, professional service. They picked me on time, and promptly dropped me off at home when I brought back the car. Although the vehicle had fairly high miles for a rental, it looked and drove like new. Very good experience.

Staff for the most part is wonderful. The rental vehicle was clean but it seem something was wrong with the transmission. Each time I pulled off the car jerked. I told the staff upon returning the vehicle and was told we don’t have anything to do with that. His response was the wrong response and now I will think twice about renting from Enterprise

Great experience! Went above and beyond to show me the features of the car and make sure I was ready for my big road trip.

I was really surprised, felt as if I was at Neiman Marcus for the customer service and their work ethics .keep up the good work Jim Dooley. hertz should come and check out this location’s professionalism.

If you can avoid this place, do so and save yourself the headache. I rented a car from here last week, and they deducted an extra $ 24 from my bank account for no reason at all. When I called to find out why, they offered me no explanation but led me on to believe I’d be compensated if I just stopped by with my bank statement. I spent 2 hours at their location on my ONLY day off and NEVER got the money back!
Asinine.

This is a great place to rent a car! They made it seamless to get in and out and even upgraded me without me asking. They provided the BEST customer service that I’ve ever received from a rental car company. They even offered to drive us to the train to get back to NYC. I would highly recommend them, without hesitation!

Excellent service! Staff is very accommodating and friendly. They offer free pick up and drop off service which is great if you need to leave your car at the mechanic for auto work.

This place is a JOKE! HORRENDOUS! Booked a car with a family price (family works at enterprise) and was given a contract that stated $ 188/​week incl taxes and fees. had car for 6 weeks while our car was repaired. insurance paid for approx. $ 850 towards rental. Expected final bill to calculate to just a few hundred dollars. Ray Brown, Branch Manager, decided to change price to $ 47/​day without our knowledge and consent and charged $ 1119 to our visa! In total there was an overcharge of $ 830. When confronted, Ray Brown laughed and scoffed at me, dismissed me, was rude and condescending, lied and contradicted himself, and refused to honor the original, and only legally binding contract. Called the District manager, Tim Varitimos 42 times over three weeks before he agreed to correct the bill. Tim refused to take my phone calls and avoided me like the plague, i guess to frustrate me to the point of giving up. One time i had to resort to calling him back to back 25 times before i got an angry response. Out of 43 phone calls, Tim called back twice to say he «had to look at things and would call me right back» which he never did. It took threats to report them to the authorities, the BBB, Visa etc before there was a response. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

These people are con artists. I booked online for 9.99, arrived and was told that they can only give me something for double the price because they were out of stock. When I said that if their company sends me a confirmation, they should honor the contract, I was told that I can go and look for a better deal wherever I pleased.
This place always gimmicks. Avoid it.

I’ve rented cars out of here a few times now and they have been nice to rent from. It seems like they have a smaller fleet than other locations which resulted in a car class changes. And the cars I get from them tend to have a dirty exterior or the check engine light on. The rates are usually among the lowest in town and they pick you up if needed, which has been quite useful when I’ve needed it. I will say the amount they charge for using their Fastpass toll collector is outrageous. I forget exactly but something like $ 17+ a day. The lower car categories can go into Canada. You need to be flexible in the car that they give you because they seem to have a lot of stock turnaround.

Disappointed with their consistently poor customer service. I am a corporate customer and have had poor service almost every time I’ve had to deal with this location. I was on the phone with them, once again, with a billing problem yesterday, and was disconnected. Decided it was an appropriate time to write a review.

If you want to experience service that goes above and beyond, the next time you need a rental car, go to Enterprise, Waltham and ask for Ray.
My Mercedes lease was up and I was having the fender fixed before I turned it in. I needed a rental for 3 – 5 days and Ray took such good care of me. When I called and told him I had all kinds of paperwork from the Insurance Company he told me not to worry that he would handle it all, just to bring it in. I asked if they had a Prius and he said there were none on the lot but he would get me one. He did. He offered to pick me/​the car up from the Auto Body shop on both ends of the rental. I refused this because I had a ride but Ray called me on the return day anyway to offer again. This time I accepted his offer and he had his driver there on time with a quick and easy signing of papers. He asked how the rental worked out and I told him all was well but the washer fluid was empty (middle of New England winter) so he might want to fill it for the next customer, he apologized profusely and took $ 50.00! Enterprise is luck to have him as a manager. He knows how to delight his customers. All other staff I dealt with there were on top of things as well.

Fantastic service! Needed to rent a car for a couple of days while mine was in the autobody shop. The guys here are super nice and helpful. Was in and out of there in no time. Speediness is always greatly appreciated.

I had really good experience with this Enterprise. The people who work here are really courteous and helpful. Once they overcharged me by mistake, but they responded to my refund request immediately. They also offered me an upgrade. They also have longer opening hours than other rent car services in Waltham.
Something to improve upon: 1. I hope they could offer carshare at Waltham. 2. More cars to choose from at weekends.

Customer Service is #1 here and a you will feel it. The gentleman, Luis, was about to offer me an SUV for «Full Size» price. That would’ve been a great help. But, when I said I really need a smaller vehicle, he found the Dodge Avenger which was like the Nissan Altima Full Size that they feature on the display at the counter. He had to find the keys. His associate came within 5 minutes after calling and found he was out on the road. All together I was ready in 30 minutes or less since I arrived at the Moody St location. Checking for scratches, fuel gauge, and everything else was done smoothly and timely fashion. I’ve come back 5 – 6 times over last 10 years, and they were kind and courteous the 1^st time and the 6^th time just as expected. Smiles and wheels. Have A Nice Day! at Enterprise on Moody Street.

The service seemed very good but one big flaw takes two stars away. The only car they had available was a Crown Vic which is apparently the luxury category. I was told I’d have to pay a dollar a day + tax over what the insurance company was covering. Well, it turns out the taxes are $ 5 a day!!! Not only 6.25% but there are some other fees in there (I’m taking the guys word for it… still don’t quite understand). Long story short I had to keep the car for a full month due to a mix-​up getting my check and it added up to over $ 150 for what I expected to be a free rental. Nothing to lose sleep over in the scheme of things especially having it for an entire month, but definitely frustrating. I should have traded it in part way through the rental for a cheaper car to save the dough but thought it was just an extra $ 1 a day. I feel like they glossed over the extra tax.

The Enterprise office in downtown Waltham has a great staff, they brought the car to us at the hotel and we dropped it off our last night and walked back to our hotel (Crescent Suites in Waltham, great hotel!) It is really amazing how much cheaper it is to rent a car out side of the airport.

Must agree with the other Unilocaler’s on this one. I was recently involved in a hit and run accident and pretty upset when my car had to go in for over a week! My insurance company set me up with Enterprise on Moody Street, which just so happened to be across the street from me! My, so convenient.
The nice bunch of young men were courteous and helpful. They were also very flexible with me and followed up on everything they promised they would. They took care of all my paperwork and dealt directly with my insurance company. They patiently explained to me, several times, how to start the Prius I’d been given. I called and visited several times during my need for a rental car and everyone was very informative and helpful.
They also seemed to have the best rate around and a decent selection of cars. I would happily use them again if I needed a rental car, but hopefully if I do, it will be for a better reason!

When I got into an accident (lady: «there shouldn’t be a traffic light there» doesn’t make the accident go away), I chose Enterprise because it was close to where my car was towed. And boy, am i glad I did. I worked with Damien, who has to be one of the most genuinely nice guys I have ever met. He was really sweet and made the whole obnoxious process a breeze. The rest of the guys were really friendly too.
Since there were no small cars on the lots, i was given a big-​ass SUV (a Dodge Journey I think), but the next day Damien called me and I got switched to a P.T. Cruiser. So much better!
Other than suggesting I buy a used car from them, Damien was not pushy or trying to convince me to get anything beyond what my insurance would pay for. Oh, and they really do pick you up! And drive you to the garage to pick up your car! Great service, great location, great experience! Now only if people didn’t blame running red lights on the light…

Let’s start off this review by saying that this is for something that happened exactly one year ago, yesterday and today.
I had just purchased my new Honda CR-​V and needed a vehicle to transport my plates and get my paperwork done. Enterprise was so helpful when I had called them and inquired about rates, one-​way trips, pickups, and such.
Unfortunately I had fallen under the «under age 24» category and have to pay a premium in order to rent the car for a day. But, the gentleman I had spoken with had mentioned that since I was a Bentley employee, we actually had a corporate account and that they can waive that fee for me. Yay — be gone extra stupid non-​sense fees!
In addition, they had a pickup/​drop off service at your house if you need it in order to get your rental car. Whoa wait a minute, this place actually put some thought into their business. Why would someone be renting a car, maybe ’cause they don’t have one? Yehhhhh… other rental companies I had called DID NOT have this service!
Very friendly and courteous staff at the facility. They helped me to get in and out of there very quickly — paperwork and all. They made my new car purchase buying experience an easy one. Thank you Waltham Enterprise!
