I go here when I don’t want to stand on the checkout line at the Home Freakshow or pay out the nose at Grainger. Ace Tool’s prices are a little above average but if I need something in a pinch, they usually have it. I do most of my tool purchases with tax free (out of NY state) online vendors.

I was referred to Ace Tool Online by friends who swear by it. It’s a great site,

1. The website is easy to use and all of the product info is clearly stated.
2. I called the toll free number to ask a few questions. The sales staff was courteous & knowledgable. I was very impressed.
3. I received my package in a very timely manner.

They seem to not have very much in stock. Everything I have ordered from them was not in stock and had to be ordered. However, they charged my credit card right away, and got themselves an interest-​free loan for several weeks.
Pretty shifty way to fund your business, I would say.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a tool repair company
I’ve been in this business for 30 years now
Gave them two tools to repair and it literally took 6 months to get them back
I was told every bull… Line you could think of
They pushed me so far I threatened to call the police
Surprise my tool was done in two days
Such a shame, now I have three tools to repair and I’m looking online for parts to do the repair myself

I was looking online for a pair of Milwaukee Open End Wrenches 1 1/​8″ for my wood router. And I came across to Ace Tool. I’ve ordered it and received it in a timely manner. Great customer service. You guys rock!

Placed order on their web site. Got billed for it, but they never shipped it. Never responded to e-​mail. Called them to ask about it. Customer service was rude, lied, and hung up on me. Still waiting to see if they refund the money.
