On our way out to East Hampton when I was growing up, my family tended to stop here for a quick bite on the road. It had been a while since I had been to the Circle M until we ended up in Wantagh for a funeral. It was a sad occasion that brought us there that day, yes, but I can attest to the fact that this bizarrely retro diner still has the best sliced turkey I have ever had.

Absolute worst diner! We were the only ones in the place and the waitress couldn’t stay off her phone long enough to actually do her job. Then when I ordered something from the menu she was like we don’t have that, that’s not on our menu! So I had to show it to her and she was like well no one must like it because ive never seen it!

So i needed to hit up Petco for a new fish since Tobias went to the great Fish Heaven in the sky last week and i was meeting up with Monica for a bite to eat and this was close by. Its a small diner across from Wantagh Baptist church which is the church i grew up going to. Once my sunday school teacher took a bunch of us there for bagels during service and my dad thought i was kidnapped. Good times, but i digress. So i got the meatloaf special which came with soda, soup and salad. I got diet coke and salad with russian and matzo ball soup. Soup was damn tasty and i ate all the cucumbers and tomatoes from salad. I do not eat lettuce. Its disgusting. The meatloaf came with mashed potato and string beans. It was really great. i was surprised how good it was!!! Monica got the roadhouse which was roast beef and cheese and ranch on marble rye with disco ff.((gravy and cheese)). She said it was great. I enjoyed our meal. the service was fine and i have no complaints really. To those on here making comments on the wait staff you are a disgusting troll. These women are making a living and what they look like has nothing to do with it. You should be ashamed of yourself. You are a horrible excuse for a human being, YAMBAGS…

I have no idea why there is a single bad review up here. People really are crazy. I’ve never eaten one bad item or had one negative thing to say about Circle M. Me and my friends were shaking our heads when we read these reviews particularly about the waitresses. Wow. I can’t believe I’ve eaten so many times and been so pleased yet all these reviews. Honestly, I’ve had breakfast and lunches and dinners here and its one of best diners i’ve been to. I love the hot open roast beef sandwich the best. Burgers, eggs, home fries… all of it I’ve always thought were above average. The pea soup on Tuesdays is best ever had and have gotten takeout many times. My only complaint is that the middle to the back of the place has no windows and can be stuffy. But I’ve managed to almost always go at off hours when I get seat near front where windows are. Still shaking my head, especially at horrible nasty and inappropriately cruel comments about waitresses. The internet is really a nasty dish=gusting place sometimes.

Ordered 3 salads and my daughter a plain giro cost me $ 65. I ordered and picked up. When I got home the gyro had 4 piece of meat. Not a joke terrible. I called to verify and the woman was so nasty told me it was a gyro deluxe. But I didn’t get anything extra no fries just plain they charged $ 12.00 for that. I will never order from there again.

WAYOVERPRICEDEVENFORDINERS!!! Food is the standard diner quality. Nothing special. Some waitresses are quite rude. Been there many times but don’t go anymore. I’d go to a different diner if I had the choice.

I can’t believe they charge 10cents mor for decaf coffee. Asked for well done fries and they were raw. Sent back and my wife asked for a BLT with 1 slice of lettuce and 1 slice tomato .it came out piled with tomatoes and lettuce. But it Wes tasty

Oh my God! Here we go again. «I didnt get a menu» «the food was sub par» «the waitress was nasty»…please folks! Its a diner not Peter Lugars!!! Great food, very nice staff and decently priced. Breakfast items are great! Eat here!

I used to love to come to this diner but unfortunately this will be my last visit. We were given the wrong menu. My mother ordered a special that came with soup and drink. After ordering told no soup or drink Asked nicely if they could honor it since that’s why she ordered it. They said No. Really. For a cup of soup. Veggie barley soup was awful anyway

I can always count on Circle M for good food, good prices and good service. I like that!

Food is always pretty unpleasant… even if you go in with low expectations like I normally do. Go to the East Bay Diner, 10 minutes south. Way better.

My friend and I came here for dinner one evening and as far as diners go it was pretty average. Not bad but nothing spectacular either. I got a shrimp salad sandwich which was okay. It had way too much celery in it which I can’t stand the crunch of it. Needless to say I picked through a lot of the sandwich. My friend got an egg sandwich which he liked. though I don’t know how hard it is to get eggs right. I would come back here if it was suggested though it wouldn’t be my first choice in all honestly. Next time I’ll stick to my usual diner fare of chicken fingers and honey mustard.

First I will say that a diner is not the place to order lamb chops. Good breakfast although the waitresses are too chatty and don’t give enough attention to the customer. This is the first place I have been that does not allow you to leave a tipwith your credit card. What is up with that. Very strange. The owner must be pretty cheap! For that reason, I’m out!

Disgusting lamb chops! Asked owner why the menu says baby lamb chops but they served gross huge chops. Owner said that is what his distributor has been sending!

Grew up around the corner. Had been a regular here for years and years. Watched the prices climb into the stratosphere while the quality plunged. What about the service? The waitresses by and large are a bunch of geriatric hags and crack-heads with putrid attitudes, too much make-up, too few teeth, bad breath, and dirty tobacco stained fingernails. Think«two broke girls» after 30 years of meth addiction. Mix in some hot flashes, 3″ gray roots on an abysmal dye job, and you’ll have an idea. When a tuna melt comes to the table disguised as a tuna sandwich with cold cheese slapped on top and Brünhilda the camp guard tells you it will just burn if she takes it back to the kitchen; you know there’s a problem. When you tell the owner about it and he starts to ramble inanities about the World Cup; you know that problem pervades the whole place. One oasis shimmering in this wasteland of gloom is G my favorite waitress; who while magical in her own right cannot be expected to save off the speeding demise of this train wreck eatery. No wonder the far past their prime brothers have been trying to dump the joint for years.

I actually stumbled upon this diner accidentally after taking my dog to get groomed. And I must say, I’m pretty glad I did. The parking lot may be a bit small but don’t let the size fool you, on the other side of the diner there’s a lot more spaces to park. As soon as I walked in I was greeted, seated, and watered all before I can say«alex part of 1 please» I didn’t even bother opening the menu, I ordered my meal as if I was a regular and I asked for a small OJ to be on the safe side. The meal came pretty fast. Which was a huge plus because I was in a but of a hurry. The food was surprisingly good. Although the homefries were a tad bit tasteless, It could’ve used a bit more seasoning. But overall BRAVO! Bread was toasted pretty perfect too! Not to self: ask for a large OJ! The smalls come in a double shot shot glass. All for a quarter over 10 bucks! Oh and make sure you bring cash for tip if paying with a card, they don’t add tips to credit.

BADBADBAD First of all they have a Mykonos Salad which is a garden salad(lettuce, carrots radicchio etc) with chicken and feta and pita which I ordered pretty often when I was still eating there but I really wanted it with Greek Salad instead(fête, grape leave etc), because I don’t like carrots, radiccio and green peppers in salad. Thee first time I ordered it they tried to get me to order the Mykonos Salad, I told them that I wanted it with Greek Salad though so they charged me for everything that comes in a Greek Salad separately(of course they didn’t deduct what was taken out) and my salad came to $ 18.95(Mykonos is 13.95) which was crazy to me but what could I do, I already ate it and it was what I wanted. The next time I tried to order it, the owner told me that Mykonos was Greek Salad and I just couldn’t handle it, even the menu says it is a Garden Salad! As a side note, the house dressing is amazing! They won’t tell you what it’s made from but I suspect it’s a mix of Thousand Island and Italian… either way, it’s delicious and honestly it was the only thing keeping me coming back(yes, it’s THAT good). Next, the hamburgers used to be great, I mean really great… but they changed them a few years ago and they are nothing special anymore. Boring, lack of flavor, just blah The did always cook it perfect so that’s a positive. The breakfast is really ordinary, nothing special, very bland and boring. My biggest problem with this diner is that they are priced on the higher side and the food is sub par. We stopped going because we were tired of being disappointed and the only thing left that I actually likes was the Greek Salad wit chicken but it’s almost impossible to get it(which is very odd) or costs a ridiculous amount of money. I have to assume it is being run by someone different than before because it went from good to bad in a few moths. We used to take out and eat in 2 – 3 times a week at least and now we always talk about what a shame it is that it went downhill every time we pass it.
