This place has great coffee, tea and smoothies! The coffee is Jim’s Organic Coffee which is a great sustainable company and is currently donating a portion of their profits to create a science lab in Uganda, how cool is that?! Prices are very good as well! It was $ 1.25 for large tea and $ 2.75 for a large ice coffee. There is also different types of sandwiches, baked treats and various types of homemade stuff that could be really cute gifts. Also, the YMCA is right next door. After a workout, their protein shakes look really great! I haven’t had one yet but I’m looking forward to it. I will definitely be back often for coffee and to try all the sandwiches :)

**writing this for the new plymouth location** These sandwiches are tops. Hands down the best Thanksgiving sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Very clean, beautiful décor, friendly staff. I also thought the prices were very very good. $ 13 for 2 sandwiches. We will certainly be back!

Beautiful environment and delicious sandwiches. I highly recommend the Thanksgiving style sandwich… heavenly. They also have yummy looking treats/sweets, as well as local gifts such as candles, cranberry everything, books, aprons, and an awesome kayak selection. Very cute spot. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of parking. This is the same place where they have the Cranberry Festival every year. Worth the drive just for the sandwich ;-)

We had seen the sign for Make peace on way to Myles Standish. The following weekend we were camping again and decided to go look for it. We were very pleased to find it for starters:) Then the sandwiches were amazing. Fresh bread, I had the Thanksgiving sandwich was amazing… sister had a chicken-cranberry wrap, niece enjoyed a BBQ chicken wrap and a cheese sandwich for the youngest one. We all ate every bite, the kids followed the sandwiches with some ice cream. They have picnic tables outside with umbrellas, where you can sit and eat. Would recommend stopping by if you are in area! Also they have kayak rentals right there, private pond. They rent by the hour$ reasonably priced. As well as a few gift/novelty treats inside.

I absolutely love this place! Fresh produce, freshly baked goods, freshly made sandwiches, ice cream cones, canned cranberries of all sorts and charming items to ponder over in this wonderful barn, rustic, further charmed with it’s contents. All in a setting of beautiful surroundings; green, peaceful, plush — I go outside and listen to the birdies sing as I eat my afternoon sandwich at one of the lovely tables they have. Fresh chicken salad with cranberries, fresh greens on a wheat wrap. Yum! The staff that work there are A+ across the board; warm, friendly, accommodating, and customer service driven with a relaxed manner. What’s more? The drive there off Cranberry Hwy is a mile and a half of a lovely drive. I feel like I go to VT for lunch every day.

I have been to the store several times in the last few years and have been amazed with the quality of the items being sold as well as the staff. This is probably the most authentic store in all of Wareham for having the charm and consistency of an old Wareham store. Everything on sale is wonderfully local from the coffee to even the fresh vegetables. It is definitely unique and there is never enough time to spend there. I love that it’s placement in the town makes it secluded, but I must say that I would also be pleased to see it somewhere doing bigger business. It is measures class, as dear as that can be.

Authentic NE activity for the fall. Perfect daytrip during good weather. I particularly recommend the cranberry tour. Although the yearly harvest festival probably offers a lot more, go to the cranberry tour on another Saturday. The crowds will be less and you’ll get the intimate feel for this blessed little super fruit. It’s given by none other than the director of operations(35yrs experience). We got to walk directly onto a bog(that hadn’t yet been harvested) then saw the harvesting operation a couple of bogs over. Awesome stuff. Upon return, check out the Makepeace bakery. Go for the fresh items — the taste is splendid.
