Great drinks — bartenders are very attentive!!! Food is good — just when you find your favorite menu item — they change the menu — downfall. The parking can suck but we walk — ha ha

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. This place can’t be beat! Great staff, awesome food, large portions and they won’t break your wallet(half price apps after 4, mon.- thurs.). Size of the sandwiches are enough for 2 meals. They also throw one heck of a Christmas party!

Great day for a drive so my wife and I headed on down to Wareham to try out The Gateway Tavern. We were greeted at the bar by a very accomodationg and entertaining bartender named Shirley. We just had a couple of appetizers and drinks. Stuffies — Excellent Boneless Buffalo Wings(Hot) — Very Good Margharita(Shirley’s) — Excellent We were told that the didn’t have any clams because of the busy weekend they had and they were waiting for them to come in. We’ll be going back to try them soon. Overall a nice place to sit, have a bite to eat and enjoy some good drinks and good people.

Not sure how the food tastes and I probably never will, the prices don’t match the venue. $ 25 steaks? The average price for a meal on the menu is around $ 14?! That’s a bit much for the atmosphere. I’m not cheap by any means but compared to places similar to this one is very over priced.

Stopped in for lunch with a work colleague and ordered the lobster roll which was claimed on the menu as being the largest in the area. It was quite large and was filled with both claw and tail meat that was not overdressed and came on a fresh roll over cisp lettuce. The sandwich also came with crispy fries that I doused with vinegar and some slaw. A bit pricey but it was very fresh and large.

A regular place for dinner when we are in Wareham. The place is always very busy and expect that parking lot to be full if you come during prime time. The portions are large on the varied menu. I always enjoy the chowder and the stuffed clams. The nacho and the quesadilla appetizers are very large and plenty for 2 –3 people.
