Food was good, but service was horrible. Our server had no personality, and when we complained the manager brushed us off.

I’ve been to many Cheddars over the last 15 years. This chain, though growing quickly, is not as large as many other restaurant chains. However, when you see one, you need to stop and eat! With the exception of just one location, I’ve always had a great meal with great service. This location is no exception! I arrived with my friends for lunch. The parking lot was nearly full, but don’t let that stop you. We were seated immediately and were taken care of properly. Portions are good, prices have gone up over the years, but are still respectable. If you are new to Cheddars and not sure what to go, the chicken tenders are a staple. My wife loves them and they might be the most popular item on the menu. Some of my lunch favorites include the buffalo chicken wrapper, Monte Cristo and more. Salads are huge. You pretty much can’t go wrong with any dinner selection either.

I haven’t been to a Cheddar’s in years. The parking lot was pretty full but we got a table immediately. It was awesome to see the trademark ceiling fans again. I was also so happy to see the quality is still superb. I had steak and chicken tenders and my husband ordered the New Orleans pasta. The portions were huge and the food was great. The mashed potatoes were so buttery! They have a huge drink menu and I wish I would have tried a spiked lemonade. Next time!

Let me start off by saying that the food itself has never disappointed me at Cheddar’s. I usually order the ribs and fried shrimp and have them to bring me a vat of their delicious bourbon glaze with sides of mashed potatoes and broccoli cheese casserole. Recently, I’ve discovered their mango tea and have added it to my standard rotation. Very good food at good prices. However, until recently, I could always count on the service to be bad. But, the good news is they seem to have improved on it as my last two trips have been good experiences. The food was good enough to keep me coming back even through the dark ages of service.

Yuck! The food is bland American fare with no creativity and lots of grease. I hate to bash a place and I don’t hold chain restaurants to the same standard but this place is the pits. The rubber they pass off as cheese would likely be rejected by a starving person and the mozzarella sticks they call ‘cheese bites’ wouldn’t even appeal to a stoner. The butter they drown the broccoli doesn’t obscure the fact the broccoli was likely frozen twenty years ago, thawed, then refrozen. The steak should’ve come with a chain saw so it could cut. I’ve had work boots that weren’t as tough as the ‘ribeye’. I actually think they served the leather part of the cow! The only thing less inspiring was the service. I tipped out of pity more than anything because he probably didn’t deserve the tip. I never thought I’d ever say, ‘too bad there isn’t a Chili’s here that we could’ve eaten at!’

We visit this location very often and one of the things that is annoying is that people with take out orders are more important than people sitting at the bar. Could a designated area be established. Would like to suggest the last booth on right side of bar be repurposed for take outs. The management often locks this door to prohibit entry and exit due to cold and extreme hot weather! These take out patrons often stand behind us while we eat and this is very uncomfortable and makes us want to leave sooner than we would like, therefore decreasing our order and less revenue for bar tenders.

Absolutely worth every bite! We are planning to go to another one as we travel north! The food was eclectic and would satisfy anyone’s palates. The portions are extra generous for the amount you pay. Our servers were nice and a few tables over, there was a young child celebrating a birthday. They had actual candles lit! You don’t see that north! I was bummed that this was a chain restaurant, not a small town or family owned. In any case, it was beautiful. They were also participating in April’s Child Abuse Awareness night. My picture ended up blurry, so I won’t post it. But, they had local talent coming in to help support their agencies that are working towards child protection. I love the sense of community, there! This place was also recommended by our hotel. I would strongly recommend it to you. I hope you have the same great experience and you will be able to recommend it as strong as I am to others! Happy travels and bon apetite!

Staff is usually friendly. Food is ok nothing spectacular. Portion size is pretty good. Its a decent place to go if you need some place to go when noone can make a decision.

Good food and cheap prices but service could be much better. The crowds get crazy on Friday and Saturday night and we usually steer clear on those nights.

This restaurant is abysmal. I came here to meet my brother and his wife after a long day of work and travel. The service was slow and while my water glass was filled multiple times, the tea was never refilled. My brother ordered the spinach dip as an appetizer. You could not taste the spinach through the overpowering blend of nameless cheeses and the salsa that it came with though decently spicy lacked flavor behind it’s flame. I don’t like salad, so when I ordered my vegetable plate I requested the waitress ask if a soup had chicken broth in it. After the fuss I made about soup she didn’t think to warn me that there was meat in the red beans and rice which was one of the sides I ordered along with, broccoli, macaroni and cheese, black beans, and because I couldn’t eat the rice an Apple and yogurt medley that came with a salad and a croissant. The salad was decent and looked fresh. I don’t eat lettuce so I picked out the carrot slivers and two tomatoes. The broccoli was wilted, over boiled, under salted and beginning to turn brown in the stems. The macaroni was crusty and tasted like water wearing a cheese costume. It seems like it was left under the heating lamp too long. The beans tasted like water unless you bit through a piece of raw onion or jalapeño. I am not a fan of raw onion. The apple medley should be called the white raison medley, because the sheer amount of discolored white raisins overpowered the granny smith apple. This medley was drenched in an overly sugared, syrupy yoghurt much like the gogurt that was given to children in the 90’s. The croissant was nice but drenched in sickening melted honey butter. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Why 5? Unbelievable Cheap prices, huge portions and awesome food. Came here twice ordering 2 appetizers ribs, ribeye steak, philly cheese steak, monte Cristo, Tuscan chicken, all were delicious. We had a server who did mess up our order but in the end fixed it and we got what we wanted. Although service wasn’t the best I think the price and taste makes up for it. Definitely recommending this place

This place is okay. My first time here. I had the ribs and tenders. The ribs were standard restaurant fare but the tenders were good. Sides were red beans and rice and broccoli cheese casserole, both good.

The food is always pretty decent and the portions are enough thar two people can share one plate and still take home food. The service needs to step it up, not just at the time of bringing the check, when your tip is due.

The atmosphere here is very nice. The staff is polite. We met friends from High School here. We sat and talked for 2 hrs after we were done eating and they continue to check on us without making us feel rushed. They did make a mistake on my kids order but they were quick to fix it and super nice about it.

Just go to Applebee’s because skid Row is your waiter here. The waitstaff is downright scary. They look like the police lineup at the courthouse.

As mentioned I love the monte Cristo here and it rivals Disneyland. We found a server that should be lead server training the others! His personality and customer service is fabulous! My daughter and I went in and had lunch and seriously had the best service we have had in months! I forgot to check in at the time. However we made sure his manager knew that he exemplified what a good wait person should be. I hope since we were in last they gave taken note and improved.

I love this place. I can’t find anything wrong. The staff is courteous the food is priced well and good. The atmosphere is good. I’ve yet to experience the waitstaff, but if they are anything like the bar staff then they’re great. You come here when you don’t want to cook the meal you may have seen on the Travel Channel. I’ve brought a few business clients here and they’ve loved it.

It was right by my hotel and open till 11pm on a Sunday. It’s like a Applebee’s maybe slightly below. Won’t be back but gave two stars to the awesome waitress Lacey who was super nice and genuine to me and the other tables around. Peace
