Ive been on-off this property since the late 1960’s & recently to pick up a buddy for lunch. If your as old as me, you remember when these grounds were manicured impeccably, not so much anymore. I long for the heydays of the 1970’s when the parcel had screened fences to hide the future projects & the mini museum they used to have on the Mound Rd gate, plus the occasional car you’d see zipping across the track or up the endurance hill. BUT the 330 acre site makes This place is cool for its size alone And what goes on behind closed doors & a series of intricate tunnels that connect & re-connect plenty of buildings underground As a third generation auto worker I love the historic impact & that its right here in our midst. great history channel link
