Poor service. Always forgetting the sauces on my carry out order. Wings are very small. Will not recommend/go back to this place.

Best service and place, love the workers here. I stop here once a week for wings and they’re always super fast with great service. My favorite place to stop for wings for sure! Try it out :)

Wing Stop is a great place to go when your craving chicken wings. It’s got solid flavors and easy quick service. When you don’t want the whole nine yards with a restaurant this is good for a quick in and out.

Honestly, I love their wings. Every one I have tried so far has been great. Prices are reasonable, fries are fresh cut(tell them light salt as they tend to over salt otherwise), and staff is friendly. Monday and Tuesday are 50 cent wings.

This is my go-to spot for some eats when I make the trek out to the Cinemark 16 dollar shows. As has been almost universally noted on this site the service is kind and accomodating. They always let me know the boneless wing combos I order will be up in 9 minutes so I fill my cup with Minute Maid 0% juice«lemonade», pop a squat at one of the aviation themed tables and soak in a little sports from one of the televisions while I bide my time. They have 3 or 4 tvs and always have multiple things on. It’s mostly sports, though tonight they also had on one of those true crime shows. I usually get the original hot or the cajun and the lemon pepper or garlic parmesan wings. I like to have half spicy and half mild. One time I tried the mango habanero, listed as one notch above cajun on their spice-o-meter and they were really fire. I wouldn’t want to mess with the«atomic» wings at the very top of that scale. The wings aren’t the biggest, but the 8 or 10 piece combo is enough to fill me up. And they do seem to pull that unhealthy McDonald’s trick of adding sugar to their fries. But while McDonald’s fries are the original crack fries — Hopcat eat your heart out — and I scarf those down like a fiend, I can never make it all the way through the greasy wax paper lined plastic basket they serve at Wing Stop. They seem so appetizing at first, but once they cool off some the spell is broken, and I end up finding them a bit gross. Not enough to change my routine order, but I never finish them. And if you’re looking for a garbage can to dispose of plastic baskets, sweet drinks with high fructose corn syrup in place of lemonade and uneaten fries, you won’t find nary a one. The staff here busses all the tables. And I’ve never seen one left unbussed! Mind you, I’ve never seen it very busy in here, but there’s usually 2 to 4 other tables in there with me and a couple of carryouts, too. I also appreciate the big roll of institutional brown paper towel they leave out. Perfect to go with wings doused in hot sauce. One last thing: this was originally a 4-star review but I reread it and was struck by how less-than-healthy most of this stuff is. I’ll be damned if it isn’t good. And if I wasn’t eating this, I would most likely be stuffing a large Cinemark popcorn with extra butter and salt into my mouthhole anyway.

Excellent sauces. Wonderfully kind staff. This is the place I go to when I want to eat wings. Keep up the good work.

My son was home from Texass and commented how much he liked this place there so I got a carry out and wasn’t disappointed. We tried the garlic Parmesan and the Louisiana rub and both were very good. The fries were crisp and seasoned well and they serve beer which is always a plus! Mondays and Tuesdays are fifty cent boneless wings days. Service was fast and the staff was very helpful with recommending which sauces or rubs to try. We will be back!

Where can I start? My boyfriend and I were big big buffalo wild wings fans, until we decided to check out Wing Stop… MYGOD! The layout was cool and the pictures everywhere was awesome, but the wings… the wings! The Louisiana Rub was sooo delicious and the fries were outstanding. The wings were hot and fresh. Way bigger than what BDUBS made. Our new place to go now!

The Louisiana rub wings are the best, not just of the Wing Stop wings, but the best anywhere. A lot of reviews mention the wings are small, and I agree when they first opened the wings were small, but it seems like they have increased to a normal size, maybe management was listening. But the wings aren’t what makes me crave this place;it is the fries. What is on these fries? Sugar? I don’t know, but it works. I try really, really hard not to come here too often because I don’t want to die an early death by heart attack.

Tried the Louisiana dry rub. Totally amazing and enjoyed the fries. Going to make this a regular stop.

Wings are hot fresh and mouthwatering. Good selection of sauces. Fresh cut fries are always hot. Comfy environment. In my opinion better than Bdubs, solely for the food. Also they are open till midnight.

We ordered online and my boyfriend went to pick up the order, so I can’t comment on the service. He had no complaints though, so I assume the service was great. :) We ordered the meal for 2 which came with 15 classic wings(you can choose up to 2 flavors), a large basket of fries, 220 oz drinks, and 2 dips for $ 18, which IMO, is an awesome deal! We also added another side of classic wings(5 pieces for $ 3 – 4). The flavors we ordered were garlic parmesan, hawaiian, and lemon pepper. One thing I didn’t like was the packaging for the fries. It literally came in a basket, which can be troublesome especially if it spills(luckily for us, it didn’t). The fries, however, were seasoned perfectly and very delicious! The wings were good, but I felt they lacked flavor compared to B-Dubs. my favorite of all three was the hawaiian because it was sweet and tangy and tasted delicious with the ranch sauce. I will definitely come back to this place again and give the other seasonings a try. Hopefully they will be packed with more flavor like Buffalo Wild Wings are.

So they are starting to win me over. I love the salt and vinegar seasoning on the wing dings. The seasoned fries are so amazeballs. The service is very friendly.

No! Grumpy Cat No! It was that bad this time. So, this is my second review for this WingStop. Yesterday I received an message from Steve Davidson, the owner of the WingStop in Warren. He asked myself to give WingStop another try and offered an free classic 6 piece meal. I thought OK, maybe I went there on a day that bad employees were working. Maybe the owner did not know what was going on in his store because things run differently when he is on site. Maybe there was a store meeting to discuss customer feedback. I ordered my meal via telephone. The worker was very polite with the script she had memorized. I picked up my meal and was feeling hopeful. The dining room was cleaner. Although the floor was not clean as it should have been being that they opened just an hour before I arrived. The cashier was nice as I explained about my free meal from Steve Davidson. I got home about five minutes later and was disappointed by my meal. Although the wings were not as small this time, the fries, oh the fries. Wet, soggy, limp fries. The taste of sugar in WingStop’s French fry season was overwhelming. Yes, sugar on French fries! Can you say«Merica? I had 3 Mild wings that were so mild that they had no Buffalo sauce flavor. I also had 3 Hawaiian wings, that were fine but nothing special. Never again.

I seem to always compare wings to Buffalo Wild Wings. With that said, these wings don’t even come close. They have a limited selection of sauces and the menu is quite a bit smaller then BW3’s. They put sugar on their fries(gross). I think they are also a little over priced. Overall, I was not very impressed.

This place opened up about 5 months ago and I decided to give it some time to settle in prior to writing a review. After eating there a half dozen times now, I’d say they are are ready for critique as they will ever be. So here goes… The GOOD: * The classic wings: Cooked to order, meat is moist and tender, and the sauces are excellent * The«Louisiana Rub» sauce is particularly awesome. I am addicted. * The prices are fair, particularly if you order a combo meal(which come with fries/drink/dipping sauce for about $ 2 more than the wings alone) * The fries are coated in a disarmingly sweet seasoning that seems weird but somehow it works and actually tastes quite good * Get a yeast roll! Not something you would typically order at a wing place but trust me it is worth the extra $ 0.50 * They serve a small selection yet still good variety of beers for all tastes. From Miller Lite to random Michigan Craft brews, they have something for every beer drinker to enjoy.(This would have been on the NOTGOOD list when they first opened, as did not yet have a license to serve alcohol. And let’s be honest, it is tough to take a wing place seriously if they don’t sell beer) The NOTGREAT: * The wings are small, not a whole lot of meat on them. About the same amount of meatiness as a BW3 wing(albiet better quality meat and always cooked to order). So ultimately better than BW3, but that’s not saying much. * I wasn’t impressed at all by their boneless wings. Hard for me to critique them honestly as I don’t care much for boneless wings in the first place, although these were among some of the least impressive I have had. Stick with the classic wings here, absolutely. * Location is a little weird. It’s kind of in the Target parking lot at 12-Mile and Dequindre. There are about 20 great cheap-eats restaurants within a mile radius of there, along representative from just about every fast food chain in Michigan. So the competition is steep. All those places must do decent business as more cheap-eateries keep opening up. But it’s hard to choose Wingstop when there are so many other great options nearby. They might stand out a bit more in an area with a bit more to be desired, culinarily. Pretty sure that isn’t even a word but I’m sure you know what I mean.

I am a hot wings connoisseur. I prepare wings frequently. I like trying different variations. I look forward to sampling them when I go out. In fact, I try them everyplace I go. As such, I eagerly anticipated the arrival of WingStop in my area. I had heard they were a fast growing company. Businesses do not generally expand if they are selling inferior products, so, I naturally assumed that they had great wings.
On March 14, 2013, my opportunity to try these long awaited wings arrived. I placed a carryout order for a batch of classic wings flavored with WingStop Original Hot sauce. In addition, I requested an order of classic wings flavored with Louisiana Rub. The friendly man who took my order informed me that it would take exactly fourteen minutes. I was pleased to hear my wings were being made to order. However, that is where my contentment ended. Perhaps, I had built these wings up too much in my mind, but I was ultimately disappointed. The wings were small and did not have a lot of meat on them. They reminded me of frozen Tyson Buffalo wings. They had the same shriveled look and texture as microwavable hot wings. I will admit that the flavor of the WingStop Original Hot Sauce was tasty. The Louisiana Rub was too salty. It is unfortunate as the Louisiana Rub had a good flavor until the salt overpowered it at the end. There are better options for hot wings. I will keep Wingstop in my back pocket and give them another shot down the road. For now, my quest to find the best wings will continue.

What better day to check out a new wing place than Superbowl Sunday? We headed over to try some eats in store and then grab some to bring to our party. Basic menu is wings, boneless wings, tenders or chicken sandwiches. They have like 10 different sauces or the option to stay plain. Sides include seasoned fries(which were legitimately good!), coleslaw, baked beans etc. They also have yeast rolls reminiscent of steakhouse chains you may be familiar with. I thought most everything tasted decent… though I would be remiss not to point out that the wings were smaller than I thought they’d be. We were told it would take 9 – 11 minutes depending on what we ordered, and they stayed true to that estimate. Ambience being akin to a Jimmy Johns serving wings was a good description — very true. I would use this place for carryout again for sure.

The good: –Great Fries! It’s like they coated it with salt and sugar or something. –Tasty wings. –Very friendly staff –Clean inside, and the décor is pretty nice. It’s like a Jimmy Johns that serves Wings. –Closer to my house than KFC or BWW The Bad: –I ordered 8 wings, and when I got home, I only found 7 in my basket. Dafuq man? –Wings are smaller than those at Buffalo Wild Wings –I didn’t get any napkins. Seriously? with wings? The good outweigh the bad, so I’ll be back. But the wings are kind of small. No really, they are.

It is a GLORIOUSDAY when: 1. It is 50+ degrees in Detroit in January. 2. You stalk and discover that the Dequindre/Warren location is open… and share this exciting news with your bf during lunch time. 3. Said bf suggests Wingstop for dinner. And it is an even MORE glorious day when your tastebuds discover that this particular Wingstop location does not disappoint!!! I called to confirm that they were open. Whoever picked up the phone was so warm and friendly, he even asked«am I gonna see you soon?» Why, yes, you are… but not until traffic dies down, sir. An hour later, traffic’s dead, I am starving, and the bf tells me to call Wingstop and place in an order with the most annoyingly complicated order they’ll prolly ever receive. And the lady who answers doesn’t give me any attitude or a difficult time AND the order comes out perfectly! WHAT!!! No resistance?! No questions asked?! This customer service is better than Nordstrom’s! hahaha jk, but right then and there, I knew that this would be my favorite Wingstop in all of MICHIGAN! Things I like about this particular wingstop: 1. Everyone is so FRIENDLY and accommodating! Super duper accommodating! 2. Their fries are SOPERFECT. so perfectly crispy, right amount of flavor, AND the fries at the very bottom of the basket were crispy!!! 3. It is so clean and spacious! 4. I looooooove love love loooooooove how the wall adjacent to the kitchen has a huge window so you can look in and see them make your food! Always fascinating, esp. for first timers :) 5. Everything comes out in a timely manner. I’m pretty understanding of the opening-week-kinks that businesses go through, but I didn’t really see any of that here! Everyone was friendly, there were no weird/awkward pauses where the cashier didn’t know what to do/how to use the cash register, etc. and the food came out in ~14 mins, just as promised! 6. The wings aren’t too oily. and have just the right amount of flavor :) I hate when my wings are drenched in oil, but not here! 7. The oil feels clean! I know this contradicts what I said in #6, but you know sometimes when you eat chicken wings and feel gross and sickly afterwards bc the oil hasn’t been changed or something? NOTHERE! 8. The owner is so interesting to talk to! He gave me my first lesson on the game of hockey :).perfect, bc I plan on watching a Red Wings game sometime this year! Things I do not like about this Wingstop: 1. It will cause me to re-gain all the early-stages-of-a-relationship happy weight I just lost. booooo. but it will be worth it. :D
