Visited Framing by Cyndy on Saturday. I walked in to a set of large stairs leading down but I couldn’t take the first step due to being totally and happily taken off guard by the Civil War paintings when you walk in. I was excited to know somebody in the area is showcasing this era. After making my way downstairs and speaking with Cyndy,(ooops, I simply assumed and did not ask), it seems her friend/partner that occupied the space with her let her keep these in the building for show while he took most all of items and moved to Ruckersville. That was pretty cool with me as I pass that ol’ antique mall all the time on my way to Charlottesville. I’m happy to hear there are more artworks there regarding Va and the Civil War. There were some vintage clothing in the room off to the left of main room and a neat display of some crafts inside also. I enjoyed my visit here and will come back in the future.

I stopped in here the other day. The place has two entrances — one off of Main Street(Old Town Warrenton) and another side entrance off of 2nd Street(right across from Sibby’s). I met Cyndy the owner. I asked about repairs on frames and protective glass and plastics. They do offer this service — so I’ll be bringing a framed print by for a quote. Lots of cool frames and home décor stuff! Check them out!

Ask for 20% off. Not cheap, but they will do a very quality job on your artwork or in creating a shadow box. I have had no less than a dozen paintings, and photos framed at Cindy’s(Owner is Cynthia Burnett). They are good at picking out mats and frames that complement what you are having framed and will show you what they think will work until you are satisfied.
