My husband and I love this place! We’ve tried quite a few things in the menu and we have not been disappointed by anything! They have a good beer selections and live music certain nights. Great atmosphere and the servers are hilarious, especially Josh! Always a good time at this place!

So I really went back and forth between 3 or 4 stars because this spot is a solid 3.5. The food isn’t as good as everyone is making it out to be. Definitely not bad though. The prices are on point! No cover charge for live music is another huge awesome factor. I tried the southwest chicken over salad. It was decent. It could have used more veggies or something. The fried pickles were alright too. My vodka sodas were only $ 4! The crowd was pretty hilarious. Older crowd, but definitely fun. The live music was fun as well. I would come back here for some drinks and hanging.

Went with my friend and her husband for a quick drink and listen to some live music in a Saturday night. The place is authentic down to the bartender from Ireland. I immediately felt comfortable upon entering. Everyone is laid back and in groups conversing and laughing. The lighting wasn’t so dark and the live music not too loud. We were served almost immediately and our bartender was friendly and attentive. If I lived closer, this would be a regular hang out.

If you don’t already know of this place, then you are coming to the area for a wedding, hiking the national park, wineries or other attractions of the area. We really enjoyed their food and the bartenders. Great food, selection of beer, and service. It’s happy hour all day on Sundays and live music without cover charge on Fridays and Saturdays after 9PM. If you are coming from DC metro, this is about 2 miles from the intersection of Rt29 and Rt211, on the way back. It totally completes and balances a great day being outdoors and getting in some hiking.

Fun place to hang out! Checked this place out after skydiving in the area! Had a great bar experience! Met Casey(the owner) at the bar, he was fun! Good atmosphere. Happy hour m-f 3 – 6, and Sunday football specials! Check it out!

Was passing through on the way home from Richmond. We were hungry looking for a late night bite. Saw this place on Unilocal and it had good reviews. We stopped in figuring we could get good pub food at least. The menu was a late night menu of fried food. We went with the onion rings. We got approximately eight of them. They were fine, not good, not bad. With a $ 2 dollar tip these rings cost me $ 10…hmmmmm seems a bit excessive. No napkin offered, place smells like stale beer. No thank you. Rated them a 2 star based on the fact it was a super small town. If it was dc it would be 1 star

I was impressed with bar keeps. They recommend great beer and drinks, professionals. I posted a picture of plate of steamed mussels. I was so impressed I had them twice in three days. Tip if you like garlic ask for more garlic from chef. You will not be disappointed, excellent. Brown bread dipped in wine sauce was awesome. I also tried the spicy pork rinds, very good with cold Hoegarden Wit. The apple brie with Baggett was a great desert for me. Saturday night at 9 band played and was entertaing. Go early if you wish to grab a table and food. My only issue was the kitchen closed at 9 for meal menu, but they do have a late night menu. Salante…

This food is amazing, best food I have ever eaten at a Irish pub! You can’t go wrong with anything you order! People are amazing and the atmosphere is very family oriented. Can’t wait till I live out here and can make this place a once a week outing. Service is fantastic

Nothing special hit me about this restaurant. Food and drinks were brought out on time. Waitress have us good service. I had a mushroom burger, it was ok, something about the Swiss cheese I guess. Some of the plates are a little pricy, other than that it’s just ok

We decided to come here after another restaurant was too busy. It’s a fun Irish bar that has live music on the weekends. It is LOUD inside without music playing. We had the turkey burger and Reuben. The food was 4 – 4.5 stars. What really knocked this place down for us was the lousy service we got from our waitress. We won’t be back, but if you go, maybe you will have better luck, or just grab a seat at the bar.

The food and service is outstanding. I’m here on a business trip and my team and i have eaten there twice now, yes it is that good. The garlic steak was perfect and the bangers and mash was outstanding. I look forward to returning to Warrenton for this reason alone.

Molly’s Irish Pub is amazing! Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! We ordered the Bangers & Mash and the Chicken/Brie/Bacon sandwich on our first visit– incredible! I’m not from the Warrenton area, but would make the trip just to come back and eat here. There are so many awesome choices on the menu, that a few trips are definitely in order!

Went for a post-wake gathering with family and some new friends. Besides the dart league and a needlework group(I’m not kidding!) the place was empty. The bored waitresses were happy to jump into action, pushing tables together, offering to do separate tabs for a big group(!), and getting drinks out ASAP. I didn’t expect much from the Irish pub food, so I was delighted that my expectations were exceeded. A nice simple salad and grilled shrimp appetizer hit the spot. I got to taste the fish and chips that several others ordered because the serving portion is SO huge I can’t imagine anyone could finish on his/her own. It’s not the best I’ve had but it is very good pub food. The best was the friendly service by Anna and her cohort, who really stepped up when a group of 20+ mourners walked in on a slow Thursday night.

Molly’s Irish Pub ~ good food, good ambiance… great company! This is now(& may ever remain) my favorite Irish Pub in all the universe! Because it’s where I spent my first hour of face-time with a girl I hope will soon become mine.(We’d met on-line a few months prior.) Because I’m not originally from the area & was really only passing through Warrenton to meet up with That Tall Brunette Girl(raised an hour North of there), I had actually saved another local pub onto my Google maps app for a possible 1st meal spot.(And as an alternative to the place she’d previously suggested.) However, as we were walking away from our initial meet-up point, Molly’s came into view. Naturally, I assumed it was the«Irish Pub» I’d previously selected. It was not. And I’m glad. Why? Because: A) it was close — on the main strip(too bad for that other Pub); B) the ambiance was sufficient to kick off a bit of convo about her ancestry — something I was eager to discuss; C) the place was busy enough to be appealing, yet empty enough for quick seating & a brief wait on the grub(she ordered Chili, I got Fish & Chips); D) did I mention the company? We had the Scotch-Irish Eggs for starters, which were *really* good. She ate 2 of the 4, which I think was a good sign.(Most gals I think would’ve daintily refrained.) I’ve had better Fish & Chips, but who cares?, ‘cuz SHE really enjoyed her Chili, finishing up her bowl.(Good girl!) Perhaps it was that hint o’ lime. And hey, even the beans made for a bit o’ fun convo about… well, you can guess. And for some unknown reason, we even talked about astrology. Just gonna go ahead & credit the ambiance with that, ‘cuz I’ve no idea why that came up. Yet, as a zodiac-denier, I enjoyed even that. My only regret is not havin’ me some Bangers & Mash.(Think it’s gone from the menu.) After seeing it prepared on the BBC’s ‘Call the Midwife’, I’ve been craving a taste o’ dat. Whelp… maybe they’ll have it on our 1st anniversary so I can try it then. Molly’s Irish Pub, the place to take tall Irish girls!

Best Curry Chips in the area!!! Great atmosphere when a live band is playing and good selection of beers at the bar. Wait staff can be hit or miss, they tend to forget to check back with you at times. Bar staff are always on point! It’s a little pricey for lunch, but the dinner time menu is good.

The food gets 4 stars — the service gets 3 My husband ordered the Irish stew and I ordered the southwest chicken salad. He really loved the stew and I was pleasantly surprised by the salad. It needed more dressing but I couldn’t catch the attention of the waiter so I ate it regardless, and it was still quite flavorful. They didn’t have very many Irish items on the menu in my opinion. The lure here is certainly the bar. But for a pub the food was still good. Moderate prices, generous portions. We don’t drink so I can’t make any comments about the alcohol or bartender. Bathroom smelled terrible but appeared very clean. The waiter was nice but dreadfully slow and the place was empty, he was waiting only one other table. Never got a refill on my water. Took forever to get to go boxes and the check. We would have ordered dessert had we not had to wait so painfully long to get his attention. But we will probably come again, despite the poor service. Worth stopping by.

Stopped in for a beer on First Friday Warrenton. It is a home town pub The service was quick and friendly. They have all the usual Irish drinks and food. I had a Harp. It is a good atmosphere and you can tell there are many regulars. Enjoy!
