A very small but nice gift shop inside the American Institute of Architects. They have a curated selection of design and architecture books, some AIA-​branded souvenirs, some jewelry and greeting cards. Really not somewhere I would go out of my way to check for gifts, but worth a look if you’re in the area.

My friend and co-​worker clued me into this hidden gem, and my life has never been the same. From zany, geeky toys to children’s books to super cute cards to gourmet chocolate, the AIA Store has you covered.
I have gone here to buy birthday gifts, thank-​you cards, thinking-​of-​you presents for the special someones in my life, and other great things.
The prices vary, with items ranging from inexpensive to more costly; however, I guarantee that you won’t find many of their products elsewhere.
The staff are always very helpful and friendly. They’re happy to show you where things are and offer suggestions. One kind woman helped me to find Valentine’s Day presents for my then fiancé now husband.
Inventory is constantly changing, so I encourage you to visit often.
