Barkats Pierre-Phillipe Lwyr

Apparently Mr. Barkats’ creditors have joined together and filed a petition for involuntary bankruptcy against him, #14−53 in DC Bankruptcy Court. It appears he also has many such creditors in France but they have not yet taken that path over there, although they could. Chapter 15 (international) Bankruptcy would reach both countries, in case the French creditors wanted to try it.
I wonder why nobody has tried to get his bar license revoked. The license of his company, «Pierre Barkats & Associates Chartered» was revoked around the same time that he was evicted from the office building at 1250 Eye Street NW.
He always had a good address and talked a good game but what he actually DID was not what the Rules for Professional Conduct had in mind at all.

Pierre Barkats is not to be trusted.
He will not honor his obligations.
If he owes you money, he will pretend to be someone else when you call him.
He cheated my dear friend, his Personal Assistant (!), out of tens of thousands of dollars in salary and his own expenses.
He has cheated others who worked for him, and he has cheated his business partners. He is very clever at convincing people to trust him. Don’t fall for it.
