I don’t really know what to make of this place. I stop there for a lox bagel occasionally on my way to work in the morning. These lox bagels have all the necessary components (salmon, cream cheese, tomato, onion), but I’m just… blah about it. I’ve had amazing lox bagels, and this isn’t one of them. It’s convenient, sure, since it’s right outside the McPherson Square metro, but I don’t think that convenience is worth the $ 6.25 I’m paying for that bagel.
There are some redeeming qualities. I found Dragon Ball Z cola. There’s pocky sticks. There’s other interesting east asian foods I’d like to give a try. So for the moment, I’m giving this place 3 stars, rather than the 2 stars I’d give otherwise.
