Super divey and cheap drink specials(all good in my book). Playing a lot of the games is a little pricier than we were anticipating, but darts were only $ 2. The bartender was occasionally a little distracted texting on his phone, but I never felt like he was annoyed when I tried to get his attention. My friends and I came at a time that wasn’t too busy, so I would like to see how it is on a weekend night.

If you are into shooting pool in an easy going friendly environment with cool cats behind the bar and strong drinks, then this is the place for you. Throw in some shuffleboard and a couple of foosball tables and you have yourself a perfect couple of hours of entertainment before going out on the town and enjoying Adams Morgan. It is in a basement so you may suffer from bad cell reception. Something to keep in mind if coordinating with friends who expect you to respond to text messages or calls.

This is exactly what you want out of a great billiard Hall, perfect tables and perfect drinks.

This was a pretty sweet dive bar. IT runs one block parallel of the strip of things to do in Adams Morgan. It had a few pool tables, a few dart boards, and my personal favorite, shuffleboard. Went on a Thursday night and the crowd was small and after buying a few drinks and renting the pucks for shuffleboard my bill came out to $ 58 which I thought was extremely cheap. Went back on Friday night and did less stuff with less people and my bill came out to $ 100+. Don’t know who messed up because I didn’t have the bill from the night before but I am pretty sure the Thursday night bartender gave me a big discount. Anyways, I would definitely go back if I was looking for pool, darts, or shuffleboard since they were the only place we visited that weekend that had any or all of the listed activities.

I love bars with gaming areas. Bedrock Billiards is a great little spot near Adams Morgan. It is underground so no windows and not for the claustrophobic, but is a nice wide room with lots of space to play. Offering pool, shuffleboard and dart games, at around 10 $ an hour there is always fun to be had. When I was there, there were some quality drink specials and a friendly bartender.

Great Adams Morgan dive bar for locals and those looking to get away from 18th Streets activity on weekends. Shuffleboard and darts compliment the pool tables and simple bar. My friend brought a to-go meal from restaurants up the street since they don’t have a kitchen and allow you to bring in food. You might walk by the door to this basement bar if not for the smokers congregating outside the door to the non-descript door.

This is just the kind of low-key spot I like where serious pool players go, not yuppies who are there to hook up and be seen. Unfortunately, a bad experience with the bartender ruined my evening. I met a group of coworkers there for a work function. My boss bought everybody a round of drinks, and I was asked to show ID from the bartender. I’ve been in plenty of bars, and I never get ID’d — maybe it’s the salt and pepper hair that signifies I’m much older than 21. I asked the bartender, «seriously?» Without pause, he replied nastily, «Did I stutter? It’s the law.» I took a few minutes and fished out my ID and asked him, «I guess you ID grandmothers too.» which he replied, «I ID everyone who comes through this door, It’s the law.» I understand that people have to do their jobs, but exercise some discretion. His demanding to see my ID felt more like a power play, and his nasty tone of voice left a bad taste in my mouth.

I came here while visiting a buddy a mine who lived a few doors down from this place. Its has a great atmosphere, plays a bunch of different shows/sports games on all of their tvs/projectors. Has plenty of room for everyone to play what ever they choose(shuffle board, pool, darts, golden tee). I want to relocate from San Diego to DC just have a hangout spot as awesome as this place.

I went for the pool. it did not disappoint. 5 pool tables, not crowded, great staff, and foosball as well. i was happy with it! Cannot wait to go back. if you have a good date you want to go play pool with and be able to have a conversation or a group of friends while still feeling at home; bedrock is the place to go. Oh yes, it is a dive pool bar but what more do you need.

Good tables and a juke box. TV screens spread around and a shuffle board, darts area. Sounds like all you need in a no frills pool hall…

Great little bar and awesome bartender. We had a great time and drinks were cheap. Only downfall – no food. ****We were there 1 April 2015 around 2200 until midnight.

The hostess seemed nice and told my friends and I we were next on the list. when our turn came to play pool she told me we r next again — very inconsiderate of their guests. i won’t be coming back here for this treatment.

Reminds me of a 90s Los Angeles bar that was built in the 70s and never updated(in a good way). If Mickey Rourke’s character from Spun came to hang out with me in DC I’d bring him here.

This is a great place for groups, they have a decent number of pool tables, 2 shuffleboard tables, darts, etc. It is kinda divey, so don’t expect award-winning décor. I don’t find the prices steep for DC at all. And well… apparently they allow(well behaved) dogs!

Solid place with a decent beer and liquor selection. They’ve got pool tables, shuffleboard and darts. If you can’t get one, then there is usually an opening for the other. They also have board games you can play. It’s not usually super busy, even on a weekend, so it’s a decent place to hang out with friends. They don’t have food(no kitchen), but you can bring your own food and can even order delivery to their bar(they have some menus if you ask). Kenny is the man!

Wow, this place has seen better days. The dart boards are worn out! The darts wont stick in the boards! I told the bartender, and he really didn’t care. The prices for shuffleboard are outrageous. Finally, right before I left, I saw a HUGE cockroach. No way would I eat in this place. Never going back.

Chill spot for some billiards! And«chill» is not a word I’d use to describe most of the establishments in Adams Morgan. They offer pool, shuffleboard, foosball, board games, and darts for reasonable prices, and unless you’re there on the peak of a weekend night, wait times typically aren’t bad. Excellent beer selection also. They always cycle in seasonal taps. And the staff is awesome! Become a regular here, and they treat you like gold. Even if you’re not a regular, though, the bartenders are great, and you’re gonna get the best service in all of Adams Morgan(and possibly even DC)!

Came on a Friday evening for a couple games of pool. This was in the beginning of March madness, so quite a few people were watching various games on the t. v’s(which are situated on walls in front of couches and tables). I think there were about 4 – 5 pool tables and because we got there early(8pm), we didn’t have to wait. As the night went on, however, it started to pick up and it looked like a number of people were waiting for tables to open up. I suggest you come in a little early on Fridays. Overall, it was a nice establishment, homey with music from the jukebox. No complaints. I didn’t eat or drink, so I can’t say much about that.

I came here after dinner with my boyfriend and a few friends. We came with the intention to rock Trivia Night and had talked about it excitedly during dinner, so imagine our disappointment when we arrived and found out Trivia Night was not to be. Instead, we gathered around the shuffleboard tables and played for awhile. The place wasn’t packed when we arrived, and it was pretty much us when we left. Since that was the case, I was annoyed the bartender handed my boyfriend the wrong credit card. It’s not like there was a crowd of people to keep track of. I’m not sure whether you’ll allowed to smoke or not, but it had a smokey smell to it when we were there this evening. I think music is jukebox, and it was pretty good. It was good they had a few tvs so we could watch football and baseball games.

I don’t come here enough. I also don’t come here enough high. Decked out in the most epic 60s and 70s mod furniture, this basement dwelling pool hall is stacked to the gills with rad furniture, comfy couches, and local pool sharks. Whether you’re in for the beer, the babes(none) or the chill vibe, Bedrock Billiards is a «must visit» in AdMo. With every week bringing a new«it» bar to this strip of increasingly boring and bland offerings like«Heaven and Hell» «Tom Toms» and«Frat Bar Frenzy», Bedrock is a welcome addition to the AdMo crowd. For an alternative to getting beer spilled on me, shuffling side-to-side to top 20 garbage and shouting to be heard, I like an occasional break from the insanity. Bottom line, stop by for a beer, a game of pool, and/or to chill on the ample couches. Avoid if seeking short skirts, frat guys, and dance music.

Beers And games Is a safe Choice and Bedrock Does both fine. Board game rental makes me sad.
