Great food, good hours, and super fast service, especially given the long lines. The quality is not as good as Sweetgreen, but still a solid place for lunch or dinner.

How do you afford to live in this area when the rent is $ 2000+ per month? It wasn’t like that 6 years ago. Why doesn’t anyone do the ice bucket challenge anymore? I wonder why no one hits the quan or talks about MTV’s Jersey Shore. The girl I liked in high school used to be sexy and fit, but now she’s fat. I guess DC is changing, too. One thing that remains constant is that the friend zone isn’t that bad. Chop’t is also consistent, although I wish they would bring back the kalamata olives. Why did you have to eliminate those from the menu? Makes no sense to do this when those brought me in as a customer. This reminds me of when I dated that girl when I lived in California. After I moved back to DC and ended the relationship, she deleted three out of four pictures of us on her Instagram. That adds up to a total of 327 likes that she lost.

Fast service with delicious and healthy food, this is an idea spot for lunch on a weekday. Chopt is always tying out new recipes and special dressings. The line at his location gets long around 12:30 everyday, so come earlier or later if you want to avoid waiting for too long. However, the staff is very efficient so don’t freight even if you see a long line — it will probably speed through quickly.

No one better ever leave a bad review at one of my favorite places this place is excellent for the serious health food eater. You can also get fat here if you choose to but this is an excellent place. Highly recommended

A great branch! The line is unusually long during the weekday lunch hour but it moves impressively fast. It’s worth it to go to the store — getting a Seamless order takes too long. The service in store is great and the manager seems to enjoy and do his job very well!

Exactly what a salad joint should be. Good portions, fresh ingredients that you can visibly see, and tons of good menu items to pick from. Nice music to boot

Amazing salads, as fresh as it gets and very tasty. You don’t have to be vegan to eat here they have real meat too. Tenderlising and delicious, thanks!

Chop’t and I have a sorta love/hate relationship. Sometimes I love coming in and other times not so much. I’ve been coming here ever since they first opened(like 7 years ago I think). Anyway, I usually get the Sante Fe or Mexican Caesar. These are definitely my go-to options. I might occasionally try the seasonal ones. I really like the braised chicken tinga(warm salad). Don’t be discouraged by the long lines(they tend to move fast). I come in maybe twice a month. I really love the convenience of paying with the app on my phone. After 10 visits, you get a free salad so not too shabby. I used to love the tortilla that comes with the salad — it was thinner, but now it’s kinda thick and not that great to me.

The Chopt stores are great. The can make you a fantastic salad. The sky’s the limit on what ingredients to add. I’ve been to several of these, so just a bit of advice… Make sure you tell them not to chop your salad down too much. They usually do pretty good, but I got a salad that was like eating a bowl of diced confetti. I was very disappointed. I like my salads to be chunky so you can taste all the ingredients.

No matter how much I try, my salads are never as delicious as they are at Chop’t and Sweetgreen. I love both and tend to go to this location out of convenience. I love their Kale Caesar salad and frequently create my own salads, which always turn out really great. The ingredients are fresh, the variety of ingredients is inspiring, and the service is fast and efficient. The only thing is their bread… what happened to your old delicious warm bread, Chop’t? Sweetgreen wins for me in this department, but otherwise it’s a solid choice for a quick healthy meal.

The salad felt incoherent. It seemed like a bunch of disparate ingredients all thrown together and chopped up and then with a spicy dressing on top(I got the Mexican Ceasar with chicken). The process is very streamlined and it «works», but for the quality that you are getting it was overpriced(about 10 $ for my essentially fast food salad). My salad had some tasty bites but it quickly was overpowered by the extremely spicy dressing. Without the dressing though, I think the entire salad would have been bland and uninteresting. The place deserves the benefit of the doubt since it is a «make your own» restaurant and so it won’t necessarily have the best preparation. But considering how simple the process is to make a salad I was not satisfied with the tastes that ultimately came through, mostly due to the ingredients presented. This restaurant certainly has an audience and I can understand why, but I can’t see myself returning there.

One thing that seems to hug a lot of people I know is that these«build your own» salad places seem more expensive than they ought to be. Once you come to terms with the fact that, unless you get a reaaally basic salad, you’re going to be looking at $ 7.5−11, it makes it much easier to rationalize between different chains. Enter: Chop’t Chop’t is the place to go if you value volume and options over organic and local. The toppings may not be sourced the same way or seem as fresh(and some of the fancier items you’ll find at Sweet Greem or Sweet Leaf are absent), but I have consistently found that that’s counterbalanced by there being more overall ingredients and your end-meal generally being a little bigger. I’m a big fan of the chickpeas, cherry tomatoes, and quinoa(not as good as Sweet Green’s warm quinoa), and definitely recommend the Mexican Goddess and(at least temporarily discontinued) chili-lime dressings. Per most downtown restaurants, avoid coming during lunch hours if you don’t like lines, and DEFINITELY get a couple caramels at the register. They are melty, salty, and delicious. I’ve became a regular!

The Operations Manager generously gave me some vouchers for free salads. As those cannot be utilized online(as far as I know), it was great to use in the store. So I decided to place an order online last week hoping I’d get my order as requested(chopped finely), but that didn’t happen(surprise!). Look at the avocado in the picture.

My new favorite place in the world probably. So. Good. I. MIGHTDIE that I don’t live in the same city as one. Here is why I loved this place so dang much 1. The most delicious fresh ingredients ever. All the vegetables were so fresh. The chicken was delicious. The avocado was great(and they give you a whole half of one… super great). THEYGIVEYOUSUCHGOODPORTIONS. I have never in my life felt so full from a salad before. Like I could barely finish it, and that is pretty hard to accomplish when eating a salad. 2. GOODDEAL like i said. I was full! They give a huge bowl full of stuff. I mean they don’t skimp out on the chicken or veggies like some salad places do. It was a lot and it all tasted so good. They have so many different options. 3. I LOVEDTHECOBBSALAD. It was just spot on. The chicken, egg, bacon, and avocado just all came together and formed a small piece of heaven in a bowl. I will be trying to remake that salad for the rest of my life probably 4. SOFAST and so convenient. I was in and ordered and had my food in a matter of 5 minutes. You just can’t beat that. 5. The restaurant is clean, nice, workers are friendly, and it is just a great place. I am officially a Chop’t lover. I can’t get enough of this place.

I love chopt. The only thing that I don’t love is the price. The same thing on my salad every time I come here. Today my price was $ 7.12 last week it was over $ 9. I know it should be closer to the $ 9 end because of the bacon and fried onions. I just don’t want to show up with exact change and it be wrong! Salads are so good. I’ll regret it later cuz I should not be eating raw veggies.

The is the fastest, most efficient lunchtime spot in the area. Don’t let the line curling outside the door fool you – in a few minutes, you will be taken care of by a friendly staff and seem to really like taking care of customers. Will def return if in the area.

Wow, given the rise of fast casual dining places, I expected them to be largely the same but Chop’t really impressed me. Fresh ingredients, lots of options, and enthusiastic employees. Admittedly, it was a bit overwhelming — the line was huge since I got there at Friday lunch hour — and the menu has a ton of preselected choices along with custom options/ingredients. The font size and variety made it hard to download all the info at once, so I opted for the create your own instead. They give you a full bowl of greens(I got a mix of kale and spinach) and then four veggie toppings plus a protein. I chose tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, and butternut squash with warm grilled chicken as a topping. Still not sure the cost of each item I ordered — the salad came out to be $ 10+! — but it was tasty nonetheless. I especially appreciated that they chop’t(;))all the vegetables together — no giant pieces of spinach here!

First time trying this place out and I love it. I love real salads. You won’t find Iceberg lettuce here. Fresh ingredients, large portion for a decent price. You can choose from a plethora of their own salad creations or you can build your own salad. Really enjoyed my salad(I got the Mexican Cesar with Chicken) and will return whenever I am in Union Station. However, what I did not enjoy was the extremely slow service. Only three people working on a busy Saturday.

Man I’m a addicted to Chop’t salads. They have these spicy ones on the menu(the best of which was just removed because it was too spicy). That stuff is like crack! Here’s how it works: pick a salad base or design your own base. I always pick a pre-designed base. The salad tech puts it on a cutting board and starts chopping it up until you tell them to stop. Then you select a dressing. Even if the salad as a recommended dressing, you can always choose another one. The salad person mixes the salad up in a big metal bowl with all of the dressing and then he puts it into a plastic bowl or a porcelain for-here bowl, depending on what you want. You can get a drink at the register(Boylans fountain sodas) and they offer you warm pita bread wrapped in foil. The bread isn’t very good, just something to break up the monotony of chowing down on salad. The restaurants typically have some chairs and stuff to sit on, but I wouldn’t call them nice. It’s minimalistic decorations and most of it is cheap materials that are selected to decrease the build cost of the restaurant while being decorative. It’s about 80% effective in avoiding showing the cheaper architectural design, which is to say that the place is comfortable but not really that nice. There is no parking, no idea about internet. The lunch crowd is HUGE!
