While I rarely write reviews — largely because I work full time and have a 5 year old like Heather S — I was moved to do so when I saw her review. I whole-heartedly support this small, woman-owned business, and so should you! In fact, I can hardly wait until they open their second store in the coming months which is en route to/from my office! I happened into Core72 the day of their grand opening and have returned regularly for yoga wear, running gear, biking gear, swimwear and post-workout/about-town wear. The quality is always top-notch and it’s my saving grace for staying current with fashion trends. Notably, I’ve returned/exchanged a few items from time to time without incident. Whenever an event such as birthday, Mother’s day or Christmas is approaching, I send my family to Core72. They rock! I’ll add, I often take my 5 year old son with me, and Ferrall is such a thoughtful proprietor that she has a comfy chair in the back corner and a basket full of kids books and toys! Go. Shop. Enjoy. Support this local, woman-owned business.

I visited Core 72 a month ago. I wanted to try a local business instead of always buying from the giants in the yoga world. It was my first time in on Feb. 21st and was with my child. I found a cute tank that looked like it would work. When I got home and tried it on I found it wouldn’t work. Between work, kids and massive bad weather in DC, I returned the top 1 week after the 30 day exchange time frame. The sales clerk who dealt with me immediately said she couldn’t help me and couldn’t reach the manager as she was out of town for a week. I was astounded when she questioned why it took me 5 weeks to try something on. The associate also mentioned she was also from Bethesda insinuating this shouldn’t have posed a problem for me. I can honestly say, the lack of tact and humility this associate took was humiliating and profoundly upsetting for myself and my 5 year old. My daughter burst into tears as we walked to the door because the clerk actually laughed! I will be sure to share my experience with everyone at my yoga studios. Not a way to run a business!
