I love Cork N’ Bottle mainly because it doesn’t feel like a shady liquor store. I’m definitely more of a social sipper than one to have alcohol at home. However, whenever I need to grab something quick for a party, I drive from Downtown Silver Spring just for the Cork N Bottle experience. The gentlemen who work there are always willing to offer suggestions plus their prices are great.

I’m so happy to have found this place! They offer tastings on certain days, and have a wonderful selection of wine. Also, you can find random things like, cheese & cigars also for sale. The fact that they carry various liquor brands, that are not often found in many other stores, I think is pretty great.

Extensive wine selection, clean, great atmosphere, friendly service, and free parking! The fact I don’t have to step over winos won me over. I did a tasting here, (I’m a promo model) the owner and his son went out of there way to make me as comfortable as possible while doing my 3 hour tasting. I will return as a costumer.

Looking for a wine called «Malvasia.» The person behind the counter, instead of looking it up, informed me that the wine was not available in DC. Wrong answer! I’ve only purchased it in DC. Today they lost a potential customer. Sad, because I live in the neighborhood.

Extensive selection and great service. The owner/​manager (not sure which) Subash is fantastic. If there is something you want and dont see on the shelf, just let him know and he will have it for you the next time you go. He actually keeps a pad by the register so he can record requests. Love that! And he consistently has brands that I cannot find anywhere else in the area.

Great selection of quality, high-​end wines and spirits! Cork n’ Bottle is unmatched by far in the NW DC area with their variety and stock. Also, great weekly deals such as one of my favorites – Kettle One for $ 19.99! Unheard of… now tell me as the saying goes «Where they do that at!?»
