I was in the area, so decided to check out this place. NOT a great idea! First, very expensive.($ 12 for 20oz beer, $ 12 for small salad, $ 13 – 15 for cocktails). Besides, it was quite annoying to hear that even though they have about 7 tv screens in this place, there’s only one TV channel you can watch!!! The place was boring, no atmosphere… The servers were nice and professional, but I will not get back there.

What an amazing way to enjoy the company of friends and family during the holidays. Simply make a reservation and enjoy a fabulous meal and not have to worry about endless cooking. Well this would have been a great way to enjoy; however, after already making our reservations on open table we noticed it was canceled. We called Cure Bar and Bistro to ask why, received nothing but rudeness and disrespect. She told us that CureBar and Bistro wasn’t on open table and that we didn’t know what we were talking about. Calling customers liars is considered horrible service. Cure Bar and Bistro has lost our service.

This place is in the lobby of the Grand Hyatt Hotel which is convenient if you are coming in from a night of having fun in DC. We definitely stopped in after walking around seeing everything… I was in the mood for a french martini to end the night.1 turned into 3FYI! The patrons here were all cool people and the peeps behind the bar were nice. The issue I had was when we ordered the martinis and water. Wasn’t a lot of people at the bar so I didn’t think it would take so long. I’m not sure if the guy was just starting, but if you are behind on making the drinks, you could at least see to making sure we have water as we were exhausted from walking; not to mention it was pretty warm out around midnight. Another woman behind the bar wound up asking us what we wanted and this was maybe 7 mins after we had put in our order. I was given a water glass that had expired lipstick on it… I obviously kissed a stranger lol. They look care of it once I posted it out though. After the mentioned debacle, it was pretty smooth sailing as the people behind the bar, us and some patrons sitting next to us were all in conversation about drinks of course. They serve food here if you want a snack while drinking.

The perfect spot for a night cap if your staying at the Grand Hyatt. They have Ice Wine on the menu and the coconut cake is well worth it. We’ve been here a few times over the past 2 years, and the staff is always attentive and friendly. Nevertheless, as the hotel has been updated recently, it would be nice to see some cosmetic improvement in Cure to compliment the hotel’s efforts.

Located in the Hyatt hotel this is one hell of a hyped up restaurant that really does not deserve a good review. To start with we ordered a round of cocktails whilst we looked over the menu. I was asked for my ID which I had failed to bring with me, however the waitress asked for my age and then agreed to serve me anyway(this is slightly worrying). I had a glass of the summer sangria which was fruity and fresh. It was so good I had to ensure that I took small sips as I was afraid of downing it in one go! We decided to order two small plates each and a side of Mac and cheese as we had read the previous great reviews about it. Firstly I had the chicken and noodle soup which was served luke warm with nearly stale bread. The noodles were in fact pasta, so the dish was not at all named aptly. Secondly I had the chicken quail with corn bread, however the corn bread was so sweet that it was like eating a slice of sponge cake with my meat — not a particularly pleasant experience so I ended up leaving the majority of it. The mac and cheese which I can see had previously gained good reviews no longer matches up to them. The cheese sauce was very dry and had the texture of powder. It was also made with normal pasta therefore I would not call it MAC and cheese. I’d like to know where the ham was as I only found two small pieces! We had a lovely waitress but another lady who I would presume is the general manager also kept coming over — this was far too much and we felt like we had to keep repeating ourselves as she asked us the same questions and came to make sure we were ok just a few minutes after the waitress. Rather annoying when you’re trying to have a conversation with the person you’re with and you get interuppted every two minutes.

A lot of confusion about what is really on the menu. Bartender told me the butternut squash soup was great. However, it was not on the menu. Drinks are very pricy, and only so so. I do believe I’ll be avoiding this place during my stay. Burger was okay. Coffee and baileys was lacking something. I think it was baileys.
