I’ve got a cut here several times and each time I got a great haircut. Cutz On The Hill reminds me of throwback 90s barbershop. It still has that 90s DC feel and it hasn’t grown up like some the other barbershops around town. The prices are relatively low(around $ 17 head), it’s never extremely crowded, and along with it being a neighborhood shop it’s hard not to stop in to get a quick cut. On the downside, the place looks dated, the décor isn’t inviting along with security bars on the doors and windows. The security bars again are a throwback to the 90s when Cutz On The Hill wasn’t really on the hill. Setting appointments can be improved, it shouldn’t be as easy as «Yeah come by next thursday around 12 man» it’s no way someone can remember details like that without writing them down. At least twice I arrived expecting to be seated right away for an appointment to be greeted with you’re next or worst yet the shop not being open at all.

I’ve been going to the same barber for at least a decade, so obviously he’s awesome and I love this shop! Definitely go in and check him out.
