I was pretty dead-set on not changing my voter’s registration to DC but changed my mind yesterday.(Of course, I’d wait til the very last day possible.) The office is conveniently located right next to the Judiciary Square metro stop and was open til midnight to accept other voters who were delaying [aka procrastinating] changing their registration or just registering to vote. I thought I’d have to wait in a ridiculously long line and go through a more complicated process than just handing the guy my form and dropping it in a box… but I was wrong! Though I felt like I should have gotten a lollipop or some sticker to make others aware that I did my civic duty and registered to vote. Oh well. Maybe I’ll get one of those on election day and you can all see it at the Unilocal election party?
