DONOTGOHERE!!! I recently visited this location on a Saturday morning. What a mistake! First, there were two aggressive panhandlers inside. One sat directly across from the register and harassed customers in line. She eventually approached my table and tried to sit down. while asking for $ 2. I told her to get lost! At the same time, an inebriated bumb walked in and proceeded to harass a woman placing an order… for two whole minutes! The employees did nothing to stop this! Second, the coffee temperature was just short of boiling. So hot that I wasn’t able to drink it. The owners of this location do do care about their customers and obviously have no idea how to properly make coffee. Do not waste your time!

Watered down coffee and the donuts are not up to DD standards. This franchise needs to get their act together. They are hurting the brand. I wrote to HQ and they sent me a voucher for more watered down coffee with no reassurance that things will improve.

It’s dunkin donuts so you know what the food is. This particular location is ridiculous. On a recent visit with my 6 yr old they were blasting offensive and inappropriate music for children’s ears on a Sat. morning. Add the slow service and saltiness I got from cashier, and I find myself not wanting to ever come back.

It’s dunkin so there is a standard of food and drink which this location meets. It’s just insanely slow! No one is ever in a hurry.

The restaurant itself is pretty good, its small, but its decent. Everything seemed good. The staff that attended me were pretty courteous. My meal was very delicious. The only bad thing was the random customers. When I was here a random customer came in ordered 3 doughnuts and yelled«Bobby B*tch». Then another random customer came in and was selling bottles of fragrances, which he actually did sell to someone. If you don’t mind that, then you wouldn’t mind eating here.

I love Dunkin, so like every other Dunkin I’ve been to, this location served its purpose. I needed caffeine to get my day going, and Dunkin was there to provide. There was nobody in line when I arrived, but it still took the cashier a while to take my order. Kind of annoying, but once she took my order, I got my coffee pretty quickly and it was perfect! There’s limited seating(like 4 tables), so if you’re planning on hanging around to drink your coffee or eat something, you might want to try an off-peak time. This is the second time I’ve been there on a Sunday, and I was able to sit, but it was literally the last table available, so luck was on my side. If you need your Dunkin fix in the U Street area, this is your spot!

When I first went to this location, the female(India) was fast but not friendly at all! They should ask«what do you need sir» or «how may I help you!» When you do the survey, they tell you to put a number on the receipt, but you are not getting anything free! Since the donuts were fresh, I went back a second time and the glazed were stale and of the chocolate covered ones, I was able to eat one by the time I arrived home that still had chocolate on it, but the other one had it all stuck to the bag. The guy(India) just gave me a stupid look when I first went to counter and I told the dummy what I wanted. You could probably get better service from a person who could not hear or talk!!! I would not give these people a penny tip!!! I WISHTHAT«UNDERCOVERBOSS» WOULDWORKHERE!!!

It was my first time at a Dunkin. We came in at 9:30, and they have already cleaned the espresso machine, so we settled on the coffee, which seemed rather watered down. The flavor was good but caffeine level is really low. I wonder if it’s only this location or if others ones are better.

Ok, so I’m from New England so Dunkin Donuts is kind of like a religion to us. That being said, I’m usually disappointed in DD outside of Boston because it just doesn’t taste right. I don’t know why … maybe it’s the water. Who knows? However, this DD reminds me of home. They make my coffee just right, the donuts are usually really fresh and the staff is super friendly. I work just down the street so they have gotten to know me now. They never get my order wrong which is huge to me. I can not drink coffee with sugar in it … like it makes me physically ill so if a place messes that up, I can get pretty cranky. The staff here has never once accidentally put sugar in my coffee. I know it seems like a small thing but it means a lot to me that they pay attention. Also, they always greet me with a smile, the place is usually spotless and I’m in and out pretty quick. Yeah, sometimes it can be slow if you go in around 7am on a weekday but so is Starbucks and every other coffee place in existence! It’s the breakfast rush and people can only work so fast so give them a break, take a second to enjoy not being at work and wait a second for your coffee!

Its a dunkin donuts — which is always worthy of at least 3 stars right? The store was clean enough, service was friendly even on cold and windy Sunday, the line moved along and I got my chocolate donut fix. Done and done.

Walked in in a Saturday at noon. No line and instead if a bunch of workers standing around doing nothing but talking, they were cleaning. This place was spotless in the common areas. The staff were very courteous. The coffee was delicious as usual!!! I like this location.

yes, it’s just another Dunkin’ Donuts, but i went in last night(10÷2÷12, around 8PM) and«Parvin F.»(that’s the name of the cashier according to my receipt), was really, really nice and friendly. Just wanted to write a quick review in hopes her boss reads this! Great employee!

Do you like Foghat? If so, this is the place for you because it is a Slow Ride! Goodness gracious it’s an ordeal to get a cup of coffee with skim milk. I literally could have read«War and Peace» while I waited, except for the fact that I don’t know how to read. And for a Dunkin Donuts they had a surprisingly small selection of donuts, though that didn’t stop me from making an impulse purchase of an Oreo crumble donut, which was tasty. But if you’re in a rush on your way to work or something, you might as well hang it up. You’ll be late. The lady who helped me was nice enough but come on people, step on the gas! Slow ride, take it easy.

Customer sevice at this location is the worse… I havent been since they messed my order up 2 months ago. They are so rude, and I think the worse problem is, that they dont speak good english. I never have an issue, when I go to other dunkin donuts.

I love Dunkin’ Donuts, but this location drives me insane. No matter what drink you order, you’ll end up waiting quite a while. The staff has improved in making the drinks correctly per your order, but it doesn’t matter anyway because the coffee tastes off — as if it is burnt. That said, the staff seems really apathetic. Okay, I get it — I hated working retail/food because it sucked whatever soul I had left out of me and turned me into the ray of sunshine I am today, but I didn’t treat customers like crap unless they really had it coming. Half the time the employees stand around talking or arguing amongst themselves while the queue gets longer and longer as customers file in. Speaking of customers, the service at this location is quite poor, which is probably why it’s never busy — even on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

terrible dunkin donuts. they run out of any bagel except the gross ones(i.e, blueberry, cinnamon) by 11am, almost always. it takes forever to get coffee and they usually give you crème even if you ask for milk(this has happened at least 4 times to me). they never toast your bagel beyond warming it. the staff is really kind of clueless and slow. when they screw up your order they look at you blankly like they don’t understand what you’re talking about. and it’s filled with homeless people sleeping at the tables. today a crackhead looking guy walked in and asked me for my food. the staff shoo’d him out of there in a way that made me think he does that all the time. it’s really a shame because I was hoping/praying they’d open a DD in the area(esp after the one on 17th closed) but this one needs a ton of work. on the upside it is very clean and a nice size.

Wonder how a Dunkin Donuts in a place with so much pedestrian traffic could be consistently uncrowded? Staff is almost provocatively unfriendly. I ordered two bagels toasted, which(I guess) spent about 10 secs in the toaster because they weren’t noticeably warm– on top of not being fresh despite it being just after opening. The bagels went straight into the trash, along with any of my goodwill this place inherited from other DD branches.

HOTTEST coffee ever. Make sure to ask for an ICECUBE in it unless you don’t mind waiting 10 minutes to be able to sip it. The pumpkin spice latte is pretty good. Doughnut choice is abysmal. There’s maybe only about 20 different choices to choose from. I once went in there around 7 p.m. and nearly all their doughnuts for the day were gone. There is also a language barrier here. I ordered 2 vanilla CREAM doughnuts and when I got home they had given me 2 vanilla FROSTED doughnuts. A completely different pastry. Make sure to peek in your bag before heading out the door. Also, they do not know how to make change at this location. I gave them a $ 20 bill and should have gotten back $ 17 and only got back three fives. I did not take notice until hours later and when I went back and pointed it out to them they looked at me like I was trying to bilk them, and wouldn’t give me the $ 2 still owed me but two doughnuts instead.
