People in my office travel quite a bit. Executive Travel are not inexpensive but sometimes it is worth the cost. On the way to the Cape last Friday for a retreat, after being delayed 3 hours a colleague’s flight cancelled and she was told that no flights were available till Monday morning by the United ticket agent. She originally purchased the flight from Orbitz, but because we use Executive Travel extensively she called our agent. He wasn’t available but someone else in his office found the only other flight available that evening. They held it for her while she contacted the client to make sure the price difference was worth the travel. I’ve only used them a few times and never in an emergency, but it pays to have relationships like that. Now I won’t be too worried that I’ll get stuck in Toronto this weekend. If anything happens I know they’ll fix it.
