Was hungry at my hotel so I ordered some delivery from this location. Got the Chicken Diablo Burrito and the Shrimp Diablo Burrito. Got some hot sauce from the hotel to satisfy my advanced spice palate. Got two orders of nachos as sides. There were way too many free bags of warm chips(4) that got stale before we finished the oversized burritos. Those pushed me over the edge after a long day at the studio.

Great for a quick, great tasting, no frills lunch experience. The ingredients always seem to be fresh and top quality. The staff are quick and friendly. Try their fish tacos or burrito bowls. There’s plenty of space to sit down or come with coworkers, but this isn’t a place to take anyone you’d want to impress.

delicious, healthy lunch options that are quick and easy. I love the salsa bar and the free chips are nice too.

Been here a couple of times and this guy who looks like Ben Kingsley in Gandhi along with an untracable accent has given us better customer service than ANY fast food place I have ever been to in 3 decades(and is likely the owner). –Very Friendly –Makes suggestions to improve your choices –Patient –Throws in free upgrade –Checked back on us when we are eating(WHO in the Fast Food world DOESTHAT) Corporate: This guy deserves to be head of training. Ok, that out of the way, the free salsa bar rocks. The only salsa that was poor was the yellow(mango /pineapple?) The burritos were huge and very good. I’d say they were a notch above Chipotle. Next time I’ll try the bowl.

3 Stars for being one of the only places in the D.C. area to get cheap quick mexican fast food. **Make sure to get their fresh pico de gallo & guac! Minus two stars for the slow customer service and tidiness of the area

So there I was, lunchless and forlorn, when I remembered Baja Fresh. I knew I could stand the chaos of the interior long enough to enjoy my meal outside. Et plus, I was craving the Mexican-ish foodstuffs. I was excited for the Skinny Chicken rice bowl, which, for the low, low price of $ 7, will fill you up with grilled chicken, rice, beans, zucchini, onions, and salsa. Delish. I also made it last two days, and I have a pretty substantial appetite. So THAT is something. I’m going through an avocado phase, in which I eat an avocado or two PERDAY, so natch I wanted guacamole to add to my rice bowl. Unfortunately, «side of guacamole» was interpreted by my cashier as «chips and guac,» which costs $ 4. The chips, predictably, sucked. Saltless and stale. The guacamole was unoffensive, but not great, either. I snagged a $ 1 off coupon. I am not a regular customer — pretty sure yesterday was my first visit for«food for me» — so that’s a perk.

Evidently one of their chefs must played hooky the day they were supposed to learn to cook chicken, because the pollo that I ate here had some serious issues. Hooray food poisoning. Thank you Baja Fresh for ruining chicken tacos for me forever. Blah.

Picked up food here the other day just for something easy and was very pleasantly surprised. I got the steak quesadilla, which was even better than I expected it to be. Very simple, just steak and cheese(with salsa, guac, and sour cream on the side), but the steak was delicious. Also, I was able to order and pay for my meal online, without having to talk to a single human. All I had to do was walk in and get my food. Extra points for that. The only downside that I experienced was with the chips and guac I ordered. I ordered a large side of chips and guac and received a VERY small bag of chips with the order(which I assumed is the size that comes free with every meal).not sure if this was a mistake or if they’re just super serious about their chip rations. All in all, though, pretty good for what it is-a quick, inexpensive Mexican chain restaurant. Take it for what it is and you won’t be disappointed.
