A typical government agency. Not a research-​friendly atmosphere. Two stars only for a couple of amazingly helpful people I met here through my social network.

I get calls from «Card Services» almost daily. In the past, I would send email to the «Do Not Call List» and go thru the procedure they had on-​line. What a JOKE – nothing is ever done! I think the DNCL is a scam – that is one agency office that should be shut down. Thanks for nothing–

I have been here many times on business to serve on FCC Working Groups (WGs) Comitttees and ex parte meetings.

I LOVE THE FCC.
They are looking into these telemarketing calls I have been receiving (3 hours straight, daily!) and they are currently going to:
‘make every effort to take enforcement action against any party who violated the FCC’s rules’
.according to a long letter I received from them about my complaint on telemarketing calls.
Telemarketers beware, I got caller ID and the FCC to bust your @#$%!

no business has power like government business
fcc is an abbreviation for federal communications commision, so even writing about this shit is dangerous. well, i hope not, but if it is, i guess i’ll be out in six months, i hope.
the agency was established in 1934, before women and né’gros had nationwide voting rights. (i just thought you oughtta know some history and that the government thought it needed to control the airways before it allowed equal voting rights.) the fcc controls iinternational communications via radio, television, wire, satelite, and cable. in short, the fcc is responsible for our visuals and sound.
no matter how private your business or opperation, the fcc will control your morals whenever it feels you’ve lost them. for instance, if you curse in the daytime or what is considered primetime on the radio you can be fined thousands of dollars. that’s hot!
the fcc is probably the reason mtv got rid of that kid jesse who was a video jockey. (remember that dude jesse from, like, the late 90s or early 2000s? he was super rad and unpredictable.) that kid had lawsuit written all over him and i miss him. the fcc was licking their chops when jesse rolled onto the scene. i hope he’s not dead due to a heroin overdose. mtv has been garbage ever since he left or they fired him. the fcc is also the reason howard stern left radio.
howard stern is a racy radio jocky who is borderline racists, borderline sexists, and just plain ol’ borderline bad human. however, i don’t think the government shoud be able to fine a business because you use racy language over the airways. give the citizens the right to say «no» if they choose to say no.
it’s illegal to run your own radio station. you can’t build your own rocket and put your own satelite in the air. the fcc controls everything in outerspace that is sending a signal down to the united states of earth. we shoot down alien space crafts for trying to send ridiculous signals without authorization. the fcc does not play that shit.
