Note that Fojol Bros. have three trucks, Thai, Indian and Ethopian. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them, and this one, the Thai, is actually probably the weakest — yet I’m giving it five stars too! I had the chicken pad thai, which had really tasty noodles with great little peanut crunchy bits. And wow, for $ 8 I got to choose a second dish from the four they offered that day! So I had the green green(that’s two greens, one for the sauce and one for the veggie) curry, which is curried brussels sprouts. ZOMG. Delicious, very spicy but not so much that it overpowers all the other great flavors, and yummy over the scoop of rice Fojol so generously provides. I don’t even like Thai food. It’s probably one of my least-favorite cuisines, definitely among the Asian varieties. But this is so, so great. One of my favorite food trucks ever.

It’s convenient and delicious to go to school near union square where all the food trucks line up! After a grueling final, I rewarded myself with a bowl of beef drunken noodles and chicken panang. What a spicy flavorful treat. I ate it on the train, and even though the bottom of the bowl was soaked with oil by the time I finished, it was worth it. The panang was creamy but the chicken was a little dry. The noodles were thick, the sauce had just the right amount of sweetness, but the beef was very tender. Too many onions!(but they’re easy to pick out) Would definitely order from here again.

Found this truck among the many that normally post up at L’efant Metro. The thing I like the most about this truck are the size options: A large«Pick 3» plate, medium«Pick 2» plate and a small«Dingo Bite» bowl(Pick 1). Because of my desire to try food from several trucks, I opted for the Dingo Bite size and tried the Chicken Panang. This hearty curry had chunks of veggies and chicken. It had a great spicy kick that Panang curry should have. The dish was nicely prepared and full of flavor. Overall, the food is very good and the service is great. I love the«appetizer» size of the Dingo Bite. While the food is flavorful, this truck serves typical Thai food that you would find in most generic Thai restaurants. So the uniqueness isn’t there that a lot of people, like myself, look for in food trucks.
