This place probably has the best wings in the city, although for a southern girl like myself, that doesn’t say much. But these wings are pretty good. Could be crispier with more flavor in the meat instead of just the sauce. Lot’s of variety in the sauces which is nice. I am not sure why they have things like crepes. Wing shops should have wings and sandwiches and beer. Anything else is a perversion of the wing experience. But I like the atmosphere – it’s what a wing shop is supposed to look like.

Once again I found myself searching for great wings. Tried this spot twice. Their spicy flavors are more spice than flavor. Not really a fan. The BBQ wings were pretty good and they do have a lot of options. Next time I’m in town I may give them another shot. But only if I’m in the area.

I live in Rosslyn and was refused a delivery order. I live one mile from the restaurant across the bridge. Ridiculous.

Hands down the worst wings I have ever had. I don’t know who rates this place high and why, but my wings were literally disgusting. they were raw and the sauce was nasty. I am a wing aficionado so I eat wings where ever new place I go and this one was the worst I ever had. I ordered the Jamaican Jerk sauce and after one bite I returned it. they didn’t even have beer to sell that night. Trust me I have beer is strangest places and this one was the worst ever. The best one in DC I recommend Cirka.

I’ve tried the crêpe on the first floor before so on a chilly Saturday night when I was in need of some hot, fried food I went upstairs. Georgetown Wing Co. is basically a small bar with an extensive menu. My friend ordered a dozen wings and I got the appetizer sampler since I couldn’t decide on just one thing. Everything was delicious and filling. I love that you can order stuff from the crêperie as well. This is a great spot to go if you can’t decide on what you’re in the mood for and in need of a cheaper food option in Georgetown.

I was looking for a new place for some excellent wings and I found it! The wings were top notch. If you like honey mustard sauce, try their wings of the same name! The staff was friendly, the wings good, the beer tasty. This establishment is a part of the crepes place, below. I almost missed it walking by, so if you see crepes, look at the door immediately to the right. Crepes downstairs, wings upstairs(although you can order both from both). If you like wings, go here.

The wings are pretty good, the sauces were very good. The service was attentive. BUT what I would come back for is the cheap beer, because wings need beer. And beer at wings places is frequently overpriced. Unfortunately they ran out of the $ 1 beer, so I HADTOORDERTHE $ 2 beer. Wait, what? $ 2? *cries for a place like this in Toronto*

Hmm, I’m not sure I ordered from the same place as most of the people who reviewed this place. I’m extremely confused. I’m actually eating the food right now. I ordered the french fries, «loaded» and I also ordered the wings with«Ragin Cajun» sauce. The wings are extremely tough and dried out as if they have been sitting around for hours waiting to be tossed in sauce. The sauce is ok, but it’s kind of like spicy marinara sauce and thin. It’s just not working at all with the wings. The fries were frozen at some point and also taste and appear as if they’ve been left out for about an hour or two, waiting for me to order them. The toppings are pretty good though. Big pieces of bacon, some cheddar cheese, and hot sauce. I have a thing for chili-cheese fries, and I usually order them whenever I see them on a menu, but this is a new combination of flavors that I’d definitely try again. Hence, the extra star. Otherwise this place would definitely be entitled to only one. I’ll try to fill up on the fries which shouldn’t be a problem because the portion is huge. Wings, a waste of seven or eight hard-earned dollars. Anyways, I would just avoid going to this place at all costs– unless you’re walking by and have a taste for loaded fries.

Best DC wings? What are you people smoking? I know Im new to the area but this is not possible. I tried the mango caliente. Key words: mango & hot. They were neither. The mango taste was barely there in the Very thin sauce, and it had absolutely no heat. Not even a little. These were by far the worst wings I have had in a long time. Good thing they had $ 2PBR to help me forg

The wings are OK but nothing to write home about. MInus one star for replacing Amma with somewhere so forgettable.

This place is just awesome… great place to chill… I remember writing a review long time ago but couldn’t find it. I have been to this place when they opened up. and was back again very recently… they have maintained the balance pretty good. it has Crêpe Amour downstairs which is another great restaurant… coming to this one… been there on week night… must be crowded on the weekends as it was nearly full when i got there… its small and cozy… has good TVs placement … the waitress was awesome(a star for her), great service… The Georgetown Lager is light and goes down smooth… there are couple more interesting beers on tap… the wings are to die for. they have these amazing sauces like Mango Caliente, Ragin Cajun, Lemon Pepper and lot more… nd they are finger-lickin good… Try the Loaded tots, perfect appetizer… this is one of the best wing places for sure!!! I heard they are comin up with a Pizza … cant wait to have it. and make sure you try the crepes downstairs for a dessert or dinner… MUSTSTOP(&HAVE) places…

First tried Crêpe Amour(downstairs) during last year’s Taste of Georgetown — which led me to Georgetown Wing Co.(upstairs). The Over-loaded Tots are a good appetizer to share amongst pals, while you wait for your wings. The wings have several«gourmet» sauces to choose from. We went with the Parmesean Garlic, Singapore Zing(tangy) and Texas Braised, which were all good. Next time, I’d like to try some different sauces with the boneless wings. FYI/BTW: Extra Ranch dressing will cost ya.($.50) Dip with care. Its also nice that the sodas/soft drinks are«bottomless». Smacking on those spicy wings sure do work up a thirst. The best of both worlds. Unfortunatly, you can’t order from Crêpe Amour while you’re upstairs, which sucks if you don’t feel like getting up. It also sucked that I wasn’t able to use my Crêpe Amour LivingSocial deal for Georgetown Wing Co. Otherwise, its one of the better wing places I’ve tried.

Best wing place in DC that’s I have tried so far. Since I’m such a fan of chicken wings, if anyone else has a recommendation for a place I would be glad to hear it. Located right next to Rhino Bar on M St. is the perfect location for this wing/crêpe place. Casual, not crowded atmosphere, friendly staff and right-price tasty portions are why you come here. Modest selection of beers, TV’s all around, interesting sauces. My personal favorite is the Chili Lime sauce. While it’s the«hottest» on the menu, it’s at about BW3’s Caribbean Jerk heat level. Tuesday night is College night with $ 0.50 wings *thumbs up* A beer and 8 wings will run you about $ 12 before tip.

An awesome chill-spot. Since we couldn’t bare to stand in the massive anaconda line for Georgetown cupcake, we decided to stop by here instead. We ordered crêpe, I forgot what it was called since this was in April, but it had banana, strawberry, & nutella I believe. My boyfriend LOVED it, and I hated it(because it was just too much bread). Therefore, I chose to give it a high rating for him. They had a few variety of beers, some even ran out so there were only 3 tap choices. Gee, great, but it’s ok because we still had a great time. The waitors were FRIENDLY, like we were homies friendly. That is about it, come visit! You will be satisfied. Oh yea, hated the dog-fish beer, my boyfriend calls it Choacco-fish beer(my dog).

This place is good after a late night pub crawl along M Street. None of the wings are incredibly great, but I like the wide selection — fifteen flavors ranging from salt and vinegar, cajun, jamaican, spicy garlic, parmesean garlic, and on and on. The chile lime is worth skipping(I’ve decided that citrus doesn’t belong on the wings and it tasted like the lime juice was the crappy bottled kind). The salt and vinegar was pretty intense and odd, but I was fond of it(tastes like the bottom of a salt and vinegar bag of chips with the really intense salty flavor crumbles). Beware of the spicier flavors — even the«medium» level is pretty darn hot here. You don’t get a price break for ordering in bulk, so I always like to get the wings in increments of 8 and sample lots of flavors.

If you are expecting a Wings Over(in Mass) experience, just turn around and walk out. These are not the long, chicken strip-type wings, the boneless ones are like little balls of joy though, and it certainly hits that wing craving. I like the selection of sauces, and would give particular nods to the ginger apricot, singapore zing, and ragin cajun. Chili lime is also good. The tots are yum, but the fries are really where it’s at here. Good service, lots of tvs, and pretty great happy hour deals. If you’re in the area and craving wings, come on over.

Briefs: It’s no Plucker’s(Austin, TX) but it’s a start. Affordable wings are a rarity in the District. Selling at sets of 8 is pretty novel but no matter how much you order, the prices remains 85 cents per wing(do the math, there’s no bulk discount). Choosing from 5 trademark hot sauces and 15 other gourmet sauces may prove an expensive venture. Wings are alright but it’ll be nice if it came along with celery sticks for a «balanced meal.» [Original Visit: December 23, 2010]

Good: A good selection of wing sauces Decent amount of meat on the bones Happy hour deals Great service Bad: Nobody was there — despite it being happy hour. Things were awkward as it was only myself, a friend, and the waitress in the entire place.

I came here a few weeks ago actually planning on having crepes. But I ended up having crepes for dessert(from Crêpe Amour which is downstairs) and had an appetizer from Georgetown Wing Co. I had the Firecracker Shrimp which was SO good! They were smaller pieces and I was able to share the appetizer between three people and it was smothered in a Thai chili sauce that was divine. Will definitely come back and try other things here :)
