Certainly a solid wing takeout experience for D.C. If you’re looking for that quick, not-so-healthy dinner – or ordering for a big group – you can certainly be satisfied with Wingo’s. There are a lot of options when it comes to the wings. Personally, the boneless are my favorite from Wingo’s.

This is about as good of a take-out wing experience as you can ask for in DC. The quality of the food is pretty great. The only discounting factors are that our food was a little cold and we were there early and had to wait for the order which didn’t make a ton of sense. Also, while there are a ton of factors that make this place awesome, they weren’t the best wings I’ve had. There are a lot of ways that this place wing place wins, parking is relatively easy on this part of O St, they give you a TON of options to make sure your wings are exactly how you like them, service was fast in our experience, it was cheap, and food was good. First, it’s metered street parking on O Street and it’s far enough off of M street that it was easier to park. We didn’t have any trouble on a Sunday night during half time of the Redskins game. The seating outside is made of 3 small 2 seat tables, and there is no indoor seating. They have a small cash register area inside that’s about the size of a closet and a walk-up order window. Our order was incredibly neatly packed which was awesome. I would feel comfortable picking up for a ton of people because of how nicely packaged everything was. Their website is pretty well designed. They have AWESOME ordering options. Focusing on wings first, you can choose all drumsticks, all flats, or a regular mix of the two and there is no difference in price. They also have boneless, but I don’t know if they cost more. Next, you can choose if you want your wings extra crispy or regular, and choose if you’d like a regular amount of sauce, extra sauce, light sauce, or no sauce with no difference in price. They have a great variety of flavors and a ton of sides. We ordered a lot of wings for a group, we tried the hot, medium, mild, mango habanero, hot barbecue, and hot garlic wings. We tried both extra sauce and regular sauce combinations. The wings that had the regular sauce were dressed with a standard amount of sauce. The wings with extra sauce were swimming which would be great with fries. The sauces all in all were a few degrees milder than what you would get with the same name at Buffalo Wild Wings, with the same flavor, which I enjoyed. The barbeque sauce was Sweet Baby Ray’s brand. We also tried the jalapeño poppers and the mozzarella sticks which were great standard fried bar food. Can’t wait to go back.

Drove from DC all the way over to Georgetown for wings after hearing how good they are AND after checking the website which explicitly stated that they will reopen on January 3rd. Walk in and are told that they will not open until tomorrow. Why did the website state today? So much for that drive and parking payment. Delivery next time?(Although doubtful the range will include 4 miles away.)

At work on K street over the weekend, I was too lazy to venture out in search of food, so I ordered some wings from wingos via seamless! I also ordered by boyfriend a sandwich for a late afternoon snack. The delivery was shockingly quick. Like 20 minutes after I ordered they were at my building. That alone deserves all the stars in the world! But the food was also better than I expected. The wings were wings, nothing special, but I got my bf an Italian sandwich and he LOVED it. I dont even like sandwiches and it looked legit. It was huge, had tons of meat, and a surprise sprinkling of pesto. AND it came with a bag of chips, but dont tell him that cause they never made it home to him…

Wingos always delivers, literally. Various flavors and lots of options. By far the best wings I’ve had in DC. I do wish that they would put a key to their flavors on eat24 as no one really knows if nuclear is hotter than suicidal. But that’s no where near enough to lose even 1⁄100th of a star. The delivery guys know DC and get to you quickly. Orders are processed in the proper timeframe even during busy games. Would recommend.

Ordered wings and grilled cheese for delivery. Took a little longer than expected but that’s ok. I ordered Nuclear wings with blue cheese. They forgot the blue cheese. Inexcusable.

Ordered here because I found that they delivered to my hotel. I got the mambo wings, garlic parmesan, lemon pepper, and honey bbq. Also an order of seasoned fries and mozzarella sticks. I was not impressed by the wings, the only decent one was the mambo and honey bbq. The fries and cheese sticks were cold by the time I got them. I would have given this place 3 stars if my bf didn’t find an extremely long hair in his food. We both work in kitchens and restaurants and it always disappoints us when we get food thats unsanitary. This actually ruined our appetites.

I have heard of this place for a long time, and to be honest, I never gave it a chance because of the name. I’m not a huge fan of Wings and assumed that’s all they had to offer. Well, I learned my lesson! Wingo’s rules! They have a pretty large menu with a great variety of things. This is now the perfect place for me to order from because I have a boyfriend who is a very picky eater and quite frankly, I’m getting tired of ordering pizza! Our favorites: Boneless Chicken Wings with Honey BBQ sauce — Best we’ve ever had! Mediterranean Salad — Finally a really tasty salad that isn’t mostly lettuce with a few veggies thrown on top! It is impossible to get a decent salad in the area! Grilled Cheese Hamburger Chili Corn on the cob — melts in your mouth! Seasoned Fries — The medium order is enough for 4 people! Chocolate Shake — Yum! We like the fact that they offer coke and pepsi! The only thing I’ve ordered so far that I didn’t love was the chicken noodle soup. It basically tasted like it came from a can.

Thank you Wingos for curing me the day after Halloween. I ordered delivery from here for lunch and was definitely satisfied. I love wings but for some reason decided to get chili and onion rings and was not disappointed. Delivery took about an hour and a half so luckily I wasn’t starving. Food did arrive cold but… I mean… that’s a risk you run when getting delivery. I put the onion rings in the oven for a few minutes and the chili in the microwave and they were good to go. Chili is VERY hearty with lots of beans and meat. It has a ton of good flavor and isn’t spicy if you are sensitive to that. I added hot sauce. The onion rings were a super generous serving… the GrubHub app said 8 pieces but I got more like 15. Flavor was good and the onions were thick as was the batter. Not the absolute best onion rings I’ve ever had, but among some of the better ones. I’ll definitely order from here again and try the wings or a sandwich. I will say I don’t think I needed the 13 packets of ketchup that were included in my order… :p

This a great late night delivery spot. I typically get the fried ravioli and fries, both of which are delicious. Today, I decided to expand my palette and try their desserts. Big mistake. The cheesecake is covered on top and bottom with powdered sugar. Every bite tasted like I was eating a spoonful of sugar. I could only eat three bites. The apple pie was no better. The dough wasn’t cooked all the way through, the apples were huge and the whole thing tasted salty. So disappointed.

This has been on my list to try for awhile and FINALLY I got to try it out. I was not disappointed. The spot is small so you literally come in and order right at the door. The staff was working really hard but no one ignored me despite how busy they were. It was Saturday night & they had a lot of deliveries. Since I already knew what I wanted I just glanced over the menu. Unfortunately I wasn’t as hungry as I wanted to be because I had a big meal earlier, but I still ordered just 10 wings. I got Parmesan Garlic & Hot Garlic wings. They were so delicious. Fried to perfection & they didn’t skimp on the sauce. I also order puff daddys which are like fried dough balls that came with powdered sugar. Those were good, a bit too much salt in the batter but maybe it was just that batch of batter. I can’t wait to go back, a great gem in the city.

We got the Parmesan garlic wings and the hot wings. We also ordered the jalapeño poppers but when we got back to our hotel we noticed they forgot our appetizer. The Parmesan garlic wings were the best. The hot wings were actually really mild… not spicy at all. If they didn’t forget our appetizer I would’ve given them 4 stars but it’s upsetting that I paid for it and never got it.

I was heartbroklen to see that Wingo’s is closed for the Summer. I was JUST getting used to thier new schedule. Now I will have to settle for Georgetown less than favored selctions. I will more than likely begin to bring my lunch until my spot opens back up. I wish I had knows befir the actual Web interface told me. I would have brough a couple 20 pieces to hold me over for a few days, while I get my mind wrapped around the fact that Wingo’s is gone for a bit. Sad day!

Mediocre wings and not a big variety of sauces. We took out wigs and walked to the waterfront to find a spot there. I got 10, half hot and half garlic and asked them to be wet. When I opened the box, I found the wings far from wet. There were no extra sauce and the wings tasted very mediocre. They were not either crispy nor wet. The garlic sauce didnt taste anything like garlic. The seasoned fries were meh and not seasoned. What I liked was the way they wrapped them in aluminum foil, so it kept hot. However, i’m not gonna go back again.

Lip smackin’…Bone suckin’…Finger lickin’ GOOD! Housed in a very small, somewhat incognito space… in the Georgetown neighborhood of DC is… The best place to get your wing fix on period! Wingo’s has been around for a long time and still a high contender for the best wings in DC… imho. One taste and you will know what I’m talking about. Those from DC know the protocol and ordering decorum of this tiny place. You walk in, place your order, wait outside for your name to be called… and your foodie joy is served in a few short minutes piping hot! Only one note of Caution… Be careful not to trip at the door tho’ when ordering… because you might just hit your head on the ordering counter or cash register! LOL! No kidding! The storefront space is just that small. But, make no mistake about it… Wingo’s is legit! It is my go to spot when I have that foodie craving for the fine carryout dining or delivery of good buffalo-wing style chicken elbows and forearms. There are over 20 flavors to choose from! From the mildest ‘Honey Mustard’ and ‘Terryaki’… to the«pour lighter fluid on it and light a match» –boiler point sauces like…‘Suicidal’ and ‘Bite Me!’ I tend to stay on Mild to Sizzling side of the flavor scale. My favorites are the: ‘Lemon Pepper’ — THEBEST… of all the flavors! Bursting with bites of citrus and the right tang… with specs of course pepper that seem like its tickling the back of my tongue! The flavor is not held back on this one and is seasoned to the bone. ‘Hot Garlic’ — The flavor profile of this sauce hits you all up front. It’s somewhere in the middle of a Buffalo sauce with Garlic powder sprinkled over the wings as a finisher. For anyone concerned about the heat… it’s not hot at all. Both are really good and got that fool-proof flavor profile where its all about enjoying the wings… and not tearing up or crying over them! LOL The wings overall are of good size. I normally order a 10 pc and can barely finish them! The meat is well-seasoned and cooked perfectly… done all the way through, but still moist. And, as a true Southern, the best part of their wings… is that they have crisp-crunchy bone edges! You know… The phenomenon when chicken is fried right, the ends of the bone is practically edible! HAhahaa… Sorry, I digress… anyone from the south know what I mean! If I had to point a visitor or my out of town guests to the decent wing spot in the city(especially from the South or Upstate New York)…Wingo’s is where I would point them. I have only tried the wings but they offer a myriad of other foods like… Burgers, Sub Sandwiches, Soups, Salads… and Desserts… such as the«Puff Daddy» — Funnel Cake like fried dough; dusted with powder sugar and strawberry glaze… Yumm! My mouth is watering and waist actually got bigger just talking about it! I duly give them my coveted… Certified«Hittin’ N Stickin’!» stamp of approval!

OK… Given that there aren’t too many places for an easy bite to eat that deliver. The wings, surprisingly, are not that good. From several experiences from large to personal orders the wings are overcooked and crunchy not allowing much meat. Sauced– they seem to be quickly dipped. Better off unsauced. Sandwiches are ok. The steak and cheese would be at the top of the list if I had to pick again. Shrimp madness is good. The prices have gone up to the point where they haven’t been worth ordering(the tenders are ridiculous and sometimes comes so overcooked my coworkers toss them). Delivery fee + tip on food that I barely enjoy is not worth it. The best value they used to have was the leg/drum combo that I ordered religiously because it was so darn good with corn on the cob and Sweet Baby Rae’s. Now, that’s been gone for quite some time. I browse their website hoping for it to pop back up :-( Good thing they did shorten their menu. The options two years ago were incredulous. Pages and pages.

One of the best delivery options around. Never actually been there. Always get delivered. Always comes hot and fresh. Big and varied menu. I’ve tried a few of the apps, but the wings are the star. I prefer boneless. They are big and not matter which size u chose they always seem to give you extra. Great selection of sauces.

Two and a half stars. Delivery time was a touch long, but there were good-sized wings. Mambo sauce was boring, but Bite Me had a decent kick; should’ve tried mango habanero, bourbon, or jalapeño lime. Fries were still kinda crispy since the sauced wings were isolated by a nest of foil. I’m intrigued by their fried cheese ravioli, southern fried chicken, chili cheese fries, and chicken pot pie, but a friend’s food poisoning incident keeps me wary.
