Matt is a wonderful teacher with a deep love of music. Very creative in his techniques, he is patient, funny and enjoyable with an amazing way of drawing students in and keeping them locked in. A working musician dedicated to his craft. You will be glad you signed up to work (and play) with him.

I am currently studying guitar with Matt. it’s fun working with him, and his knowledge of theory and technique is helping my playing.
He is good at giving detailed, useful feedback in an encouraging manner.
He is skilled at the specific techniques of Gypsy guitar, but I suspect he would also be great with beginners or players interested in other styles.
