What is going on here! Where is the sixth star? I need the sixth star for &pizza. This place is awesome. Absolutely scrumptious! Faccia Luna in Old Town Alexandria and Wilson Blvd in Arlington used to be my favorite pizza. NOTANYMORE! The selections of items are so creative and delicious. The line was long but, once we put our order in, it was smooth sailing. I don’t mind the long line. I have never been to an establishment with a long line and the food was bad. Love the long lines. Big fan of the long line. You have to try it at least once. I promise you’ll go back. BTW: If my mainstream, inside the box husband likes it, it’s gotta be good.

It was pretty good. Crowded and kind of sloppy the way they make the pizzas. The pizzas are not overly filling which is good and they have various crusts and toppings. Fresh crusts. Good variety of recipes and you have the opportunity to create your own too.

This was my first time at this location. It’s amazing how different each experience is at each location. This spot has lots of room, but seems to have laid out the preparation area in a not so efficient manner, leading to a clog at the ordering window, with people shouting their orders over one another’s heads. The service was great and all employees were very accommodating. I say this because the man ahead of me ordered a pizza with every sauce, every veggie, and four eggs«equally spaced apart». If dealing with that foolishness with a smile isn’t amazing customer service, I don’t know what is! The wait was a bit longer than normal, but not horrible. The pizza came out perfectly and I was pleased with the overall experience. Only con is that this location doesn’t sell san pellogrino… but a small con. This is an up and coming area, so do not be surprised to see the disenfranchised sect loitering outside and asking you to buy them a pizza.

Excellent pizza made to order that’s available after a night of partying. I’m not from the area so upon walking in I didn’t know what to expect. They have a menu by the door that explains you can order a pre-selected pizza or you can choose your own topping and sauces. Almost like the chipotle of pizza. You tell the preparer what you would like and she adds it to the pizza right in front of you. It was very crowded but the line moved very fast. Once your pizza comes out the oven there is another preparer that is adding cold toppings and sauces to the then cooked pizza. I wanted Parmesan cheese but they were out. I did add the garlic sauce and that was good. Overall not a place I would eat during the day but great for a late night bite to eat

You choose the toppings as you go through the line. $ 10 a pizza which feeds 2 sensible eaters or 1 very hungry person. They offer GF, whole grain and good olé regular crust. Yummy, high quality gourmet ingredients to top your pizza. It bakes very quickly and you have your delicious, hot, thin crust pie in no time. I really liked their house made lemonade at the soda fountain. So good! I wish there was a &Pizza here in CO!

I’ve been here probably six to eight times since moving to the area last year, and it has never disappointed. Won’t give the rundown, since others have done so ad nauseam, but suffice to say that the food is terrific. I’m especially fond of the pepperonis, which are thick and extremely flavorful. I’d also recommend getting multiple sauces, as you aren’t limited to just one. I almost always get the spicy marinara, ricotta, AND garlic sauces. It’s a potent combination. The reason I decided to write this review, though, is actually the dessert pizza. I had no idea they even had such a thing, until recently when I had some family visiting from out of town. While ordering, my mom mentioned to the workers that they were in town from Phoenix, just visiting. The staff took it upon themselves to bring us out a free dessert pizza when we were just about to leave. I wish I knew the guy’s name that did it, but I’ve seen him there a few times before. In any case, it was not only exceptional customer service, but also a ridiculously good dessert. If you like berries and cream, you should give the sweet pie a whirl. Will be back in the near future(again).

For a pizza fan, this place is pretty epic. Build your own pizza for under $ 10? Sold. &Pizza is great not only because of the food but because of their customer service. The girls behind the counter had me cracking up the entire time– mainly because of how they were kicking out homeless people left and right but also when I ordered. I love that they have craft soda. The Boss Hogg was out of this world. The line can get kind of line. It’s long for s reason. Be patient. It’s worth it. Plus the box they put it in is cute. You’ll love it– promise. I would definitely like to create my own next time I’m in town. With ingredients like aged pepperoni and mushroom truffle how could I not want to? This is DC’s Chipotle of pizza. And if you don’t like pizza– I don’t like you.

I’ve been to an &pizza in NW and loved it. This location did not disappoint! What can you not love? Unlimited toppings, except for a few«gourmet» options you have to pay for. $ 9 for a huge pizza, totally getting bang for your buck! There was one different between here and the NW location was that the NW location had a corn topping that this place didn’t. I’m not sure if the ingredients aren’t different from place to place. I also got the fountain soda of their house made sodas, but I wasn’t too impressed. I probably won’t get it again. I’ll definitely back for the pizza though! P. s. The spicy tomato sauce is the best!

Me and hubby Came in this location tonight and ordered two pizzas. One of them with vegan crumbles(hope I’m spelling it right), this pizza was his pizza. As he started eating the pizza he started saying that it smell and taste funny, I’m looking at him like he’s crazy(this is not our first time having &pizza, it’s usually our favorite pizza). So he then ask me to smell the pizza, the crust smelled fine but the vegan crumbles had a funny smell to them, they smelled like some type of cleaning product! I immediately told him to stop eating the pizza and I called &pizza to let the manager or someone know what’s going on. The manager(she said her name was Rain or something like that) answered, the first thing that made me upset was the fact of her trying to tell me that they stopped serving vegan crumbles at this location,(we had just left the restaurant and came straight home), after someone at the restaurant in the background confirmed it, she then stated oh ok,(how you don’t know what your store serve) I started to explain to her about the way the topping tasted and smelled, in my opinion she could careless, she was just like, OK. I mean I’m telling her that something that they’re selling people smell like cleaning product! I called her out on it, and she stated that the store was busy and she’s trying to do more than one thing at once, Wait, What! I’ll never go back to &pizza again, & if I do it will definitely not be to this location!

This place has been on my radar for quite a long time but I only now am finally getting the chance to try it. Parking on a Saturday at about 4:30 was a bit difficult to find and we ended up having to walk about 15 minutes, but not too bad. It was rather busy but the line moved along quickly. We ordered the moonstruck and the gnarlic, adding chicken. I should have added tomatoes to the gnarlic, it just seemed to be missing something, but both pizzas were really good. The moonstruck was probably the most unique pizza I have ever had, but was amazing and by far my favorite out of the two that we ordered. Most people there seemed to be going CRAZY with the toppings, carrying away these heavily loaded pizzas. But since it was our first time there we decided just to go with the signature pizzas. Hopefully we can return soon and experiment around with different options. They also have some unique house made sodas. I can’t honestly remember exactly what we tried, but very yummy stuff. I think we paid about $ 25 or so for two pizzas and two sodas. Very reasonable prices. Certainly worth checking out!

This is the first time I’ve come across a pizza restaurant that operates like a custom sandwich shop, and I love it! &pizza is fast and cheap, yet &pizza allows you to completely customize your pizza. You have more choices for toppings and sauces than you could ever dream of!(well, that’s probably not true, but you get the point)

My absolute favorite spot to get pizza in DC. The options you have to add to your pizza never cease to amaze me(although I get the same combination 90% of the time). My favorite add-ons are the shrimp(such a great topping for pizza), pesto sauce, spicy tomato sauce, and the garlic sauce(amazing). Another great thing is the price is always the same, expect to pay $ 10 every time. The lines can get long too; so if you’re looking to try for the first time, go on a weekday(not lunch hours) or early on a weekend(before 9pm).

OK this rating is specifically for anyone contemplating the reuben pizza! GETIT! It is incredible. Fold that bad boy like a sandwich and go to town. The slaw was surprisingly flavorful and the sauerkraut went really well, which I think I was the most hesitant about. My better half created his own, as always it was great, but he wished he would have walked on the wild side with me bc he loved the reuben as well. Anyways, eat at &pizza. The staff is great, pizza is fresh and delish, and you can go as crazy or conservative on your little pizza as you would like!

The possibilities are endless when you’re eating at &pizza. You can customize your own pizza, or choose one of their signature pizzas and modify as needed. I’ve raved about it before(see my review for the Springfield Town Center location), especially because I didn’t like pizza. But recently, I’ve grown to love it because there are so many different combinations and styles you can create, and &pizza is THE place to do it. All of the ingredients are fresh, they have a wide variety of toppings(I love their fig sauce and goat cheese, mmm) and you can choose your own dough. The lines can get long, but they move fast. They also participate in LevelUp so you can gain receive a reward credit to use after you make a certain amount of purchases from there.

The pizza here is amazing – particularly for the price. Cheap! Cheap! Cheap! $ 9 for a pizza that’s plenty for one person. Our favorite was the Maverick. Wonderful flavor with tasty sausage & pepperoni. We also loved the thin & crispy crust. The kiss & fire was not AS good, but that’s really only by comparison. I feel a need to say something about the whole setup & approach. You stand in line to place your order & then hang out until your pizza is ready. Then you get your drink & pay before sitting at a communal table to chow down on the yummy pizza. We were fine with all this, but it’s a big change from the standard with a server & all.

I’m giving H & Pizza four stars more for concept than for pizza. The pizza is pretty good. The fact that you can design your own leaves a lot of responsibility for disaster in your hands if you get too creative(hmmm, pineapple, sauerkraut, and feta with basil. How would that be??). The crust is ok. Better than most chains but a quick run through a tunnel oven doesn’t give the chewiness that I prefer. We were there early so without lines we were in and out in less than 10 minutes, but I understand timing is everything an long lines are not unusual. At $ 10 the individual pizza isn’t cheap but it’s a fairly good value. Interesting drinks and snacks are offered as well. All in all it’s worth a visit. Just watch the combinations

Best pizza in DC! 10 bucks for a pizza with unlimited toppings! Open late night and definitely our go to grub place if we are ever close to one. They have tons of great sauces to choose from, we made one with spicy tomato and the other with mushroom truffle. For toppings, we had spinach, caramelized onions, fresh jalapeño, local mushroom blend, artichoke hearts, italian sausage, meatballs, pepperoni, sundried tomatoes, goat cheese and oregano oil to finish. Love &Pizza :) Service attitude of staff is superb as well!

I came to write this review and am already salivating. This place deserves its high star rating and then some. The pizza is that fucking good. The crust is doughy and chewy, the cheese is melt-in-your-mouth fantastic, and it’s long like a flatbread which is perfect for sharing OR just getting a bite of that delicious crust every slice. &the toppings. Fun toppings(I love putting an over easy egg on the Farmers Daughter because egg yolk over everything) and really good pre-made combos. Also, dessert pizza. C’mon man. &the soda. I love the soda so much. The anise and burdock root beer is amazing and I’m not even sure what anise and burdock are. Right now they have a seasonal white birch that I like to do half and half with. &the staff. They’re so nice and friendly all the time. It could be 3:30 in the morning and a bunch of annoying Georgetown kids could be on this end of town spending daddy’s money on artisan pizza, but they’re always smiling and quick and happy to be there. &the app! Pro tip– download the app if you’re a pizza lover(I’m a Buzzfeed millennial, LOOKATME!) and get a free pizza for every ten, basically. That’s called being economical. The prices aren’t cheap but they’re so worth it. Yeah, it can take a while to get your pizza(plan for 5 – 10 minutes of a lone and 5 minutes for your pie to cook), but GIVEITTOMEYOU’REWORTHIT. *Fifth Harmony beat* &pizza, ILY.

I had the honor of going to the &tour! The &tour is a time where I had the privilege of meeting the &Pizza employees and cofounder. We loaded a party bus and went to three different &pizza locations. We had beer and wine at each location and even on the party bus. I cannot rave enough about this brand. They really embrace a sense of community and the people in the community. I found out that this spot was their first &pizza location. Unlimited toppings, fresh ingredients, delicious sauce options and homemade cheese makes this place a pizza staple. I’ve been to almost each of their store locations. They truly do a great job making each location unique yet still making each location unison. Each location is tied together because each store follows a very urban and black/white color pallet. I am seriously a fan for life!!!

This is hands down some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! I love the fact that they have so many choices from the dough, sauce, and the cheese! I also love that love unlimited toppings specials for all the veggies and who can’t have enough of those! I don’t live in DC, but since they do have them in Virginia I will definitely be visiting them soon. The only negative comment I have is that my aunt had to wait for her pizza since they skipped over it. However, they were very apologetic. No free pizza, but at least they acknowledge their wrong doings.

Basically, a large and tasty flat bread that you can customize however you want and then eat it all by yourself till you have food coma! Each pizza is at a pretty good size. I lack self control so I ate the whole thing but it was definitely more than enough! I love that they have so many different toppings that you can add at no additional charge. I ordered the Farmer’s Daugther. Even though they ran out of Spinach, it still turned out delicious! The york running sunny side up was ace! For the cold toppings, I got arugola, garlic sauce, olives, and sun dried tomatoes. Hmmm hmmm goooood!

It is impossible to not love this place. They offer the freshest ingredients and allow customers to pile on whatever they would like with no extra cost. They have long hours that cater to the crowd who is craving a pizza at 2am, but also are open for lunch and dinner. No matter the time of day you go you will absolutely love your pizza. Some of my favorite ingredients they offer, which are not your typical pizza toppings include eggs and goat cheese. You can add eggs sunny side up or scrambled making any pizza extra-special and delicious. You can also choose if you would like your pizza on white or wheat which is a nice option. Every time I have gone to &pizza they have been very busy with a line to the door, but they keep everything moving quickly and efficiently. This is a place that is definitely always worth the wait. They are also very active in the community, and are often at events giving away promotional items with their decked out jeep wranglers. They are also often raising funds for a local cause or charity. Their work for the local community is admirable and will help them be a long lasting and well appreciated establishment here in DC.

This H Street &pizza is the first of all the &pizzas, so it was pretty exciting to check this place out! The place itself is a little small, but still have some tables for you to enjoy your created pies. I was able to try their seasonal Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza(that is only available until Labor Day), which I totally fell in love with! This place was able to make that pizza on POINT, with the delicious grilled hamburger patties, topped with a lovely romesco sauce, cheddar cheese, cherry tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sliced red onions, and sliced pickles. It was juicy, saucy, and overall, a great ratio of all the ingredients! The staff here were super friendly, and I really liked the black & white photographs on the wall, as well as the big ‘&’ graffit in the front by a local artist. Parking is a little difficult, but there are some metered spaces available. +Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza: D +first ever &pizza location!

This was probably one of the best specialty pizza joints I have ever been to! A very, very easy to miss spot wedged in between a couple of non-chalant buildings on the famous H Street Corridor in Northeast DC. I literally passed this place twice before spotting it thanks to pictures on Unilocal from other Unilocalers, thanks. I ordered the MAVERICK, which included… Classic Tomato, Housemade Mozzarella, Salami, 39-Day Aged Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Oregano Oil, Parmesan Reggiano …I added some mushrooms and roasted tomato. I love the prep process… You order right at the glass and watch the craftsman or woman make your pie right in front of you, but separated by glass and they will ask you if this is how you want it right before they place it into the oven, you step over to the cutter and they will ask if you want any extra toppings uncooked on top of your freshly baked pizza. Grab your pie and step over to the cashier and you are on your way out of the door and over to a table and chairs. Loved every bite and you will too!!!

So, not only are &pizzas good, but the staff at this location are pretty incredible. Honestly, the H Street location is not the best neighborhood. If you stand at the bus stop, you WILL get asked for money. So I totally wouldn’t judge the staff if their attitudes were more in line with the atmosphere of the location. But that is not the case here. These guys are overly friendly and eager to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. Be prepared, they’re going to take your order with a smile on their face and then ask you how your day is going. Then they’re going to ask you if there’s anything else you need, aside from the awesome made-to-order pizza they just handed you. Decent amount of seating and the front window/wall actually opens up to the outside, which is nice. Makes it feel like you’re eating outdoors when you’re actually indoors. Lots of street parking and Little Miss Whiskey is down the street. All in all, a good experience.

For a little over $ 9, you can make your own pizza with as many toppings on it as you want! You first pick a crust, a sauce, toppings at the counter while someone assembles it right in front of you. Your pizza goes through the hot conveyor oven, and it’s done in record time! After it comes out, you can add additional ingredients like Arugula, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, and garlic sauce. Items that don’t necessarily need to be in the oven. You pay for your pizza and your done! They have amazing all you can drink craft sodas and the pizzas are huge! It’s the pizza version of subway, chipotle, but trendier and slightly more upscale. It is the perfect casual dinner spot for families with picky eaters!

I wrote a long review for the E street location, which I will not reprint for every one of these places. In short, it’s a very efficient assembly line, with very wide and inclusive menu choices for toppings, you can pay through their app. And it’s delicious. Of their housemade sodas, pear/fig is the big winner. On pizzas, spicy chickpeas are great. This location had a bit more of a neighborhood vibe than E street(which is not really a neighborhood, more of a concrete jungle over there); people seemed like they knew each other. There was not much seating, and nothing set up outdoors. They seemingly give everyone a pizza box, whereas at E street they asked if you wanted it to go and just put it on a tray if you didn’t; their boxes look cool and all that but I felt it was wasteful to give me one when I ate my pizza right there. The people were nice, but they did seem awfully intent on asking me if I wanted more toppings on my pizza. Am I too skinny or something, that I look like I might starve? It’s not like more toppings cost more or make them more money, and I had several already. Weird. Finally, the H street locale is harder to get to from the Metro than most of their other locations. All that said, it was still a damn good pizza.
