Quick, frugal, and absolutely delicious. Don’t miss out because this place is definitely a major driver of FOMO.

This location seems to be way ahead of the others kn terms of their«extras». A take-out window, more indoor seating, and handicap –accessible restrooms. We were in and out with no fuss and the pizza came out beautifully. This particular location closes at 11 during the week, which is why I usually end up going to the U St location(it’s open until ¾am). My only ‘con’ about this place was the set-up. The guy making the dough works in a separate alcove with a swinging door that has the potential to hit customers… but a small con. All in all, a great location downtown with great, fast service!

Liked the concept, never tried something like this before. The taste was really good.

I’ve been here a couple times now on various trips to DC, and it’s really, really good. Everything is fresh and delicious and the staff is basically exuberant to be there(even when I come in 10 minutes before close). I really enjoyed the sodas and the tea, it’s No. 1 on my list every time I get back to DC.

Geniales Konzept!

Almost like the chipotle style of pizza. You choose a sauce and toppings for your pizza. Then they bake it and then you can add more toppings and sauce after. You can’t get pizza fresher than that. They bake it right then and there in front of you and it’s quick! I went with the garlic sauce, red peppers, mushrooms, and chicken. And also topped with arugula and basil pesto sauce. Absolutely delicious and huge. I couldn’t finish the whole thing in one sitting. The price is super affordable. My pizza cost only like $ 10 and I was super full after eating half. They also have pizza options to choose from incase you don’t want to customize your own. And if you get it to go, it comes in the cutest pizza box I’ve seen.

My wife and I were on a day date with another couple and we ended up craving &pizza and walked all the way from crossline exhibit in the smithsonian. The walk was lovely(and long!) but the satisfaction of eating &pizza after a long hiatus was a dream come true. My wife and I are big fans of &pizza anyway so we knew we weren’t going to be disappointed. My wife and I shared a pizza(I normally get my own but I wasn’t that hungry). We were looking forward to drinking a Coke or Pepsi but their variety of soda was different that what we’re used to. We ended up drinking some kind of mango carbonated drink which I liked but my wife wasn’t a fan of. We also got there the right time because there was no line and maybe 4 customers eating at the tables. We had plenty of seating available. As soon as we sat down to eat, so many people came in and were in line. I’m glad we got to try this location.

It’s Friday evening at 7:31 and you’re out of everything. How will you get through the weekend. Wheat crust, shrimp, caramelized onions. Skimpy on the spinach and I wish people would change they’re gloves after cracking an egg. I’ve had this egg problem before. I think it’s time to wave goodbye to this location. You’re not going to give me salmonella poisoning. And the service. *sigh* Lackluster.

I was visiting DC and decided to eat here on my way to Fords Theatre. I’m really glad I did. There isn’t a lot of seating but it’s a really fun place. I wish there was something like this near me. You go down the line picking the type of dough you want, sauce, cheese and toppings. I went overboard and put everything but the kitchen sink. It cooks super fast. I luved it. I also really liked their soda machine with specialty flavors. Really refreshing. I will say that one flat bread is big enough for 2 or more people but I ate the whole thing by myself. I was stuffed but it was worth it. Defenatly recommend this place of you’re in the area.

There’s a good reason why this local chain is ubiquitous and keeps on expanding. The pizzas are quite delicious. I especially enjoy the farmer’s daughter pizza(comes with eggs– works as a breakfast pizza but good anytime). The spicy tomato sauce is something different that other similar pizza places don’t offer — definitely worth trying if you like spicy. I also love that it is one flat rate for any toppings. I’ve accidentally ordered &pizza unlimited toppings-style at competitor locations and have ended up spending $ 13 on a pizza(not optimal). However, if you are like me one must practice restraint. The crust isn’t heavy so too many toppings can make the pizza flimsy/a tiny bit soggy. The dough/crust isn’t my favorite of the fast-casual pizza options(I think veloce/pizza studio have the edge here) but is still solid. Plus, given the amount of locations and flexible hours it’s hard not to appreciate this place.

Fresh ingredients and interesting, well-executed combinations made this the best make-your-own pizza I’ve had. Everything is done well at &pizza. The sauce is excellent. The pizza slinger recommended i put both the garlic sauce and the regular marinara sauce on my pizza. I obliged and it was GREAT. The garlic sauce and the marinara go perfectly with one another. The garlic is not overpowering, and the marinara has a robust, tangy flavor. The toppings are fresh and delicious and nearly all are included in the price(with the exception of the gluten free options). I got three types of meat and a plethora of vegetables. The pizza is served as a long rectangle, rather than a circle; i like this, i think it helps to avoid the mound of toppings dilemma that tends to occur [when I make a custom pizza]. The price is right, and there are no hidden charges or anything like that. For exactly $ 10, you get as many toppings as you want. I like the peace of mind paying a flat $ 10 fee(including tax) affords you. Cannot recommend more highly!

Delicious! The setup is a little confusing, you walk through the door, the cashier gives you a little menu, then you go to the back of the restaurant to order the pizza. It’s a quick process for a fast meal by the national mall. Will be returning! Make sure to try the garlic sauce and the fig balsamic!

Make your own pizza is the name of the game here. You start with the crust and then build your way up. There are a large variety of sauces, cheeses and toppings and the staff was friendly enough to humor to monstrosity that I created. So much food and so tasty. Overall, great experience. Bring your kids they will love making their own pizza.

Not a huge fan of pizza but the quality of this pizza place is pretty good. Quick service paired with a ton of topping options to pick from and several doughs and sauces makes for fun to get creative. There is usually a line out the door during the lunch hours but like I said it moves quickly and they are accurate with prepping your pizza. Just wish they cooked it a bit longer other than that no other complaints.

I wish this existed on the planet otherwise known as the West Coast. I haven’t experienced anything that can compare so much to it so I can’t possibly contrast it to what we have. On a side note, I would gladly sacrifice to bring this to our side of the country. Clay pots and other variations be damned. The flavor profiles are on point and because of this being the first time that I was here I ordered two mixes of pizza that were predesigned. I was going drinking later, inventing the wheel isn’t exactly something that is in my toolbox at the time. Anyway, I got half a moonstruck and half gnarlic. So lemme caveat this… I love mushrooms. No really… I LOVE mushrooms. The moonstruck spoke volumes to my soul. Don’t get me wrong, the gnarlic is scrumptious too… But, the moonstruck I wanted to order another pizza altogether. On a further note… at this location, the girls that I had interacted with behind the counter. LEGIT. They were awesome. Things got real when the music wasn’t going right, the CC reader was on the fritz… Idk, it was one thing after another and they took it all in stride. Needless to say, there’s a reason all of their establishments are rated well. Go. NOW. =O

I’ve always been an &pizza fan and this experience is no different. This location is smaller than other locations(They have two window seating areas and one high, long table for people to eat), but they still make quality fast-casual pizza. Try their Farmer’s Daughter. It’s the perfect amount of light spice and those two eggs they put on it, add a uniquely creamy flavor to the pizza that really brings out the pizza sauce. I crave it when I’m not eating it.

Magent subway but instead you have a pizza place that serves off some of the most delicious from arugula basil to mozzarella and ricotta cheese! Even have their own homemade specialty soda soda that is served in a mason jar!

Wow wow wow! This is a fantastic find! &Pizza is a small joint near the Mall that is definitely worth grabbing a quick bite. The pizza is artisan, you can pick your dough, sauces, toppings, and then they go in the oven. A few minutes later the magic is done! I made my own pizza, but tried my husband’s Farmer’s Daughter and my son’s Maverick. While my creation was good, OMG theirs were amazing! Both the Maverick and Farmer’s Daughter have a bit of spice to them. The crust is nice and crispy thin. &Pizza also has house made craft sodas and some teas made in house. The soda was fun and yummy!

Whenever I’m in DC, my first thought is … «&pizza!» This place is amazing and I love the many vegetarian/vegan options. They even mark it «vegetarian» and«vegan» on the menu which I very much appreciate. Seating is very limited here. There were even people sitting on the curb outside enjoying their pizza. We decided to take it home and the 45 minute drive back was TORTURE! We were so hungry and the heavenly smell was making us go crazy. I have never seen my fiancé drive so fast before. Needless to say, when we got home, there was no time for pictures. But you can trust me when I say, it was beautiful. One con however, was that the workers and I’m talking ALL the workers were quite unfriendly and acted as if they hated life and hated working there. Not an ounce of friendliness. Perhaps, it was torture to work there and to not be eating just like how it was for me in the car…

YUMM! If there is one thing I am looking forward to when I come back to DC, it’s &pizza! &pizza is basically the Chipotle for pizza. It’s a DIY pizza joint and for roughly $ 10 per individual pizza, you’ll get a bang for your buck! Trust me, the long lines are worth the wait! I ordered the Maverick(Classic tomato, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, salami, fennel Italian sausage, Parmesan and some oil) and my fiancé ordered something similar to the classic margarita. They have a lot of ingredients that you can add along as you go or for those looking to customize their own pizza. The pizza was delicious! Mmm! I’m craving some as I type away this review… &pizza is a must for any pizza lover! Note: They now have a location inside DCA as well!
