The California bowl has a wonderful depth of flavor and is so refreshing especially after a hard work out. The servers are so kind and welcoming and are happy to customize your bowl and accommodate any food allergies. Their granola adds a wonderful textural element — needless to say I had to go back for a second helping. To pair with my bowl, I got an activate juice, which tasted just like apple juice. The chill vibe coupled with fast and efficient service and local ingredients will definitely have me coming back. 10⁄10.

This one is located at the gym of George Washington University and you have to swipe in with student ID card of GW. Otherwise, you have to put your ID at the front desk I believe. Their smoothie collection is quite limited, my favorite is purple. They don’t have avocado butter unfortunately.

After rebranding from«Campus Fresh» as it has been for the past several years, their prices have gone up dramatically with no major additions aside from the fact that their menu’s are now written on chalkboard and are harder to read. That’s all that’s different– the higher prices are only for an attempt to brand as a more high-end joint without the substance to back it up. Not only did they chop off most of their food menu including their panini’s which were the closest thing o a meal that you could get there, now the smallest smoothie size costs over $ 6 for what used to be $ 3 – 4. This is more expensive than Jamba Juice in even their most expensive locations. Save your time and save your money. Go elsewhere.

I have mixed feelings about this south block. I really really want to love it because it’s an easy walk from my work and I love acai bowls and it’s hard to find them in DC. I’ve been here about 3 times and my experiences have been inconsistent. Also, if you think you’re eating healthy by getting a bowl… think again. Watching them make these things, these have a lot more sugar than you think. Nevertheless, I guess I view this more as a treat than a healthy everyday option. I’ve tried the warrior bowl, PBJ bowl, and caveman bowl and I like them all in that order. I thought the warrior bowl was the best made with a variety of fruit toppings and I liked how the acai was mixed with pineapple juice. I also love my acai thick and icy, and this bowl delivered. I was definitely not a fan of the caveman bowl. Maybe it was the worker’s preference but there was way too much granola on it and… I love granola as much as any other decent human being but I couldn’t finish the bowl because I had a sugar overload. The actual taste of the acai mixed with cashew milk didn’t taste so great either. I had the PBJ bowl most recently and it wasn’t so bad. I think since school is back in session, there are new workers so I guess that’s why the bowls are not consistent. This bowl was pretty watery but tasted just like peanut butter which tasted good but I’d like to taste more of the acai. The topping to smoothie ratio in this bowl was pretty good. I think im gonna gonna try the dragon bowl next time in case I try this south block location again.

A little pricey but nice sized frozen yogurt located right in the Gym. If you don’t go to GWU you can give an ID at the front desk and they’ll let you buy some.

I went for frozen yogurt, they only have tart yogurt and a couple of toppings. It’s inside the student center, you’ll need an ID. It’s really not setup for the public.

This place serves Acai bowls, the food of the gods — Typically found only in Brazil. Mad props go to GWU for this diamond in the rough!!! Also, get a double shot of wheat grass. Don’t ask any questions, just do it.

Solid smoothie — tasty and fresh. Not mind blowing, but completely devoid of that gross«fake» flavor that so many smoothies from bigger chains tend to have.

i really like this place. there’s limited healthy eats in this area, and campus fresh definitely targets that need. they have healthy burritos, burrito bowls, froyo and smoothies — they even have acai and granola! i usually get the brown rice with tofu, veggies and peanut sauce on the side — with some crunchy stuff on top. i also like their fro-yo. it’s reasonably priced too. not a gwu student? no worries — just give them your ID at the front and you can go in and get your meal. delish — 5 stars — healthy — happy.

This review is based solely on the tangy yogurt(and a little on the smoothies.) For any fools who don’t go to GW, you are SOL because you need an ID to get in. This is the best kept secret for tangy yogurt. It is cheap and really good. I think they actually put too much mix in the machine so it is always really strong. Plus, they give you a shit-ton. I think they have mochi too. It is $ 3.50 for a ginormous cup of yogurt. Like huge. Plus it’s in the gym so you feel healthy when you eat it.
