I got a harvest bowl with mild dressing. Super delicious. The only thing I preferred was more greens on the bowl.

I found a bug in my salad, I enjoyed my salad up until this point and who knows I might’ve digested a bug before I found this one but I wouldn’t recommend eating at this sweetgreen, maybe try one that is visibly cleaner! If you’re looking to start a diet this might be a nice place tho because I lost my appetite as soon as a saw a bug covered in salad dressing.

Just arrived into town and had not eaten dinner yet. Decided to eat something healthy since it was past 9:30 pm. We ordered one Earth Bowl and one Avocobbo. It was the first time we dined at this chain, but the salads were pretty good. Total cost of meal was around $ 21.00. Pretty pricey for a bunch of lettuce, but yeah, I didn’t feel stuff for eating so late. Dined outside and we were lucky since it was a beautiful night.

Eat here all of the time but lately, the Caesar dressing has been watered down. Please don’t ruin perfectly good salads with watery dressing.

SweetGreen makes the most delicious salads I’ve ever had, which i get several times a week for lunch. This particular location is my favorite of three I frequent — they’re always conscientious and offer to make any substitutions desired, yet are able to keep the line moving along reasonably well.

The staff here is a joke. There is absolutely no management or customer service standards here whatsoever. In a sense it must be super fun to work at this location because it basically entails getting paid to do whatever you please all day… Come to think of it, are you hiring Sweetgreen? I did really enjoy my salad, but I will definitely make sure to get it at any other location than this one.

If only I was a salad fan, this might get 5 stars, because they certainly take salads seriously here. My daughter wanted to go here for lunch, so I reluctantly put aside my carnivorous instincts and ordered the meatiest option on the menu, which involved lots of bacon. I liked how much local produce they incorporated into the options.

This place is understaffed. Longer than necessary wait time and very poor service. Ordered a salad off the regular menu; they were out of several ingredients but didn’t have time to prepare more, then used the wrong dressing. I only realized that they’d given me the wrong dressing when I got home. Thoroughly unsatisfying experience. At ten dollars per salad, I’d rather eat elsewhere in the neighborhood. Sweetgreen: please hire more people for the late dinner shift, so that your overworked staff can focus on providing better customer service.

Their yogurt is very good! Toppings to try are toasted almonds, toasted coconut, and caramel apple. Clientele includes young ladies, runners, and vegans

Sweetgreen has most recently taken over as my favorite quick salad shop within the area, previously held by Chop’t. I find that Sweetgreen’s selection of seasonal ingredients are more fresh, more tasty and are prepared in ways that I more enjoy. As happy as I am to see Spring here, I am missing the delicious roasted butternut squash that Sweetgreen had available within their Fall/Winter ingredient list. Sweetgreens choices for dressing might not be as long as Chop’t’s but they’re just as good if not better.

I just had the most delicious salad from here: the portobello butternut beats caramelized onions wild rice and kale. people were nice. Service was fast. And it wasn’t expensive. Menu is slightly intimidating because you can’t see the salad options until you get right up to the counter.

I wound up here because dc dosa wasn’t open for some unexplained reason. I figured that sweet green was a known quantity. I knew what I was getting. I was wrong. Smells like a locker room. Has minimal, uncomfortable seating. Has better seating outside, but the heat lamps weren’t on and it was below 50 degrees. But the worst thing was the food. I ordered one of their winter seasonal salads that has«wild rice» in it. Unfortunately, about a quarter of the grains were uncooked. It was confusing, because I would get a mouthful of crunchiness, and then I would check the grains, and they were cooked. It took many bites to realize they mixed in uncooked wild rice grains with cooked grains. They look very similar, but they are not. So yay, I had an inedible salad… I have no idea how they managed that. From now on I just need to stay away from Foggy Bottom when I’m hungry.

If you’ve never been to sweetgreen before(like me) you might want to know that — * it’s not all vegetarian * all food is to go — no seating * the food may be spicy hot(mild) even though it doesn’t say so on the menu I got the sweet potato soup and squash/portobello rice bowl for a friend. Both were too spicy for her to eat(she can only eat bland food). So I ended up eating the rice bowl for her. For a rice bowl it was probably only 25% rice and 75% salad — kale, beets, squash, mushrooms. Couldn’t really taste the mushrooms. Lots of kale. It was okay, not extraordinary. Certainly no better than what I’ve tossed together at home for lunch or dinner on occasion. Which is okay but I prefer not to pay $ 10 for a bowl of something so ordinary. If you don’t cook much and want something healthy this place will probably appeal to you.

Ive had a number of issues lately with this Sweetgreen location and I felt it was time to update my review. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy their salads, in particular the guacamole greens. I order it every time now. But lately, there’s always been an issue at this location. So often the person helping me will forget an ingredient in the salad. Usually it’s a lime but sometimes it’s other more main ingredients. And this time, my salad was only half filled. I was shocked to see how little there was. I understand that the dressing causes it to shrink but this was shockingly small(check the photo). The servers though are incredibly friendly but still, Sweetgreen says they give you bigger salads than Chop’t. Well, after tonight, I’m not so sure about that.

on the pricey side but it’s a large portion and it is fresh. you can add whatever you like at no extra cost(except for proteins), so either mix up your own or order their pre-set salad mix. we tried the green guacamole and the kobb salad, both delicious with half an avocado in each =). green guacamole was tangy with a strong lime flavor(i did medium on the dressing), and the kobb was packed with protein! it was delicious but I wish they packed a little more lettuce and kale for both salads. maybe next time i’ll ask for more and see what happens. their gazpacho was good but you only get a tiny cup for almost $ 4… not worth it imo… *** so salads, worth it, other stuff… maybe not *** all in all service was quick and friendly. they did talk a bit fast and may have worked a bit too fast for a newcomer like me to understand what was going on, but it was dinner time so there was a crowd and they probably felt the heat. there was only outdoor seating(and maybe just a handful of tables) so we opted for take out =).

It was just okay. Nothing special. Sorry. The guy behind the counter was extra nice. The veggies were fresh and healthy looking and tasting. I appreciate that the salad wasn’t doused in dressing. $ 11 for salad was too steep for me. Nonetheless you should visit this place.

One of the best of the make-your-own salad chains, Sweetgreen has everything you’d want in a salad place. The ingredients are fresh and there are a variety of interesting and odd ones that make you consider swapping up your salad routine, the servers are pleasant, and the ambiance of each location is nice. The frozen yogurt that they serve isn’t half bad either, though Sweetgreen only serves one flavor and has a more limited set of toppings than pinkberry or frozenyo. This particular location also has a number of small tables and chairs located outside for al fresco dining.

After our yoga class, my two gal pals and I were happy to find this sweetgreen around the corner. We stopped in and bummed they do not serve Fro-yo at this location, BOOO. Torn between the seasonal salad(with strawberries, mint, dried cranberries and cheese), I opted for something more savory and ordered a Misoba salad. I asked that some kale be added to the mesclun salad blend, soba noodles, avocado, raw corn, carrots, seed mix, cilantro. My salad scientist happily obliged and topped my salad off with medium amount of miso sesame ginger vinaigrette and sriracha according my request. Salad came to $ 8+tax. Not bad. My girlfriend wanting something small and light chose one of their juices made off sight. Some carrot, ginger, beet, blend in a standard bottle for a whopping $ 10. Haayyy-zeus! Does a shot of tequila come with that because it should because holy moley, $ 10?! You can get a mega jamba juice or robeks for less than that. I get that its«all natural, freshly squeezed, blah blah» but not for me. I’ll stick to my hearty salads there and get my Sweetgreen salads/fro-yo fulfilled at another location. Yikes!

This is my go-to after a long day of work. I travel to DC quite a bit and love to stay in Foggy Bottom. While there are other locations near here, this one tends to be closest to the hotel I usually stay at. My first order at sweetgreen was about a year ago straight from their menu. I don’t remember what it was but it hit me hooked! I’ve been making my own ever since! They’ve started making their own cold-pressed juices which I also love! I’m going to try them all. I tried the satisfy, purify and energize last time I was in DC. For $ 7 a bottle, you get the 12oz size. While this may seem expensive compared to whole food’s 16oz juices at $ 6.99 plus tax, I prefer the flavors of sweetgreen.
