I love the The Park at 14th. I refer to «Park» as my version of «Cheers» from the great television bar show where everybody knows your name. The staff at The Park at 14th definitely knows my name, treats me with respect, and always makes sure i gave a great time. The owner, Marc, does a great job reinventing the place and keeping it hot. Most of the bartenders know my favorite cocktail as soon as they see me. The food at Park is amazing especially those Jerk wings. Management, especially Cat & Malik, at The Park always make me feel welcome. Sabrina, The Park at 14th’s VIP Host, has been a great addition to the team. She brings energy and an it’s all the brand presence by making everyone feel like a VIP. The Park at 14th is defenitely my go to spot!

Always have a great time at the Park for Thursday/Friday Happy Hour. Came here with my homie, Terri, for her bday. We took advantage of the discounted happy drinks and food. Those jerk wings and Mac and cheese… Jesus… When I tell you that some little Jamaica woman LIVES inside of them… BELIEVEME! Hands down the Park has the best jerk wings… EVER! Thanks to my boy, Primo, we had a great seat and no wait in line. This is an excellent place to go with friends for Happy Hour.

This is definitely one of my favorite clubs in DC — stiff drinks, awesome music/killer DJ, and plentiful amount of good looking people(yes, there are hot Asian guys here.) It’s an Asian invasion here(at least on the EDM floor). so if you’re not into that, then go elsewhere :) I’ve come here for food as well and the food is 3.5 out of 5. The crab cake didn’t have a lot of filling which was quite disappointing.

Park never disappoints. The drinks are always on point. The jerk wings and mac & cheese are a must have. If you can deal w/a packed house, because it will get crowded please go. Great music always.

Now I stated to my chillin’s I had a midnight curfew… yet they were not in the«Honor Thy Mother/GodMother/Auntie» flow by no means. I thought the last place we were at was the only place we were at… uh negative. Let the games & countdown begin… One…I thought I was too seasoned for the environment, especially being with my grown babies, I was not. Two…The club scene was a little foreign to me as I use to bang the nightlife out during my college days & a few years after, but not in the last decade Three…Yet this was a great exception & I didn’t skip a beat, on all fronts. Four…For some reason we were able to bypass the red ropes as the Doorman was pleasant, stern poker face, yet pleasant. I also could tell he didn’t want to ask for my ID& why not?! LMAO. Hey did so in very flyish way, thank you kindly! LOL Five…Her as in me don’t like to stand long, yet my GodDaughter had reserved spot in the VIP section & me & my heels were very thankful & ready to party. Six…The music was on point, even though I only knew maybe every 10th song playing. But hey, I wasn’t at a Jazz or Blues joint, so I was a team player in full effect jamming with the DJ who was spinning House and Top Hits. I could have sworn the Hype Man on the Mic was a familiar voice, perhaps from the BET era??? Seven…The more Malbec that was being consumed, the more water needed to be consumed, so my Niece was kind enough to escort me to the Ladies Room on occasions. What a journey that was, as each visit the club seemed to get pack by each visit. The restroom was actually very clean & in order for the heavy usage. Eight…I was glad to see the age variation & not just the college crowd, that really aided in me to really loosen up & enjoy the scenery. People were dressed to impressed, some dressed stylish yet casual & overall everyone was having a good time. Some so much, that my youngin’s were just a little too bodyguardish… child(s) please, get your life, get in your lane & let me live. My name is not Stella, but I dang sure was getting my groove on… not back as I’ve never lost it! & on all 4 floors too boot! Nine…There is nothing like being able to party like its 1999 with your grown babies & having a good & safe time. Speaking of safe, I’ve never seen so many Bodyguards who looked like NFL Offensive Linemen. & when 1 of them accidentally bumped into me & I spilled my wine, he asked what I was drinking & our waitress came over with a new one, classy! & speaking of security, I’ve never seen such a heavy police presence in one place, had to be at least 8 outside alone. Ten…I could really see myself coming back here every now & then for the nightlife experience, as it was top notch service, great crowd control, drink prices were amazing even for VIP/Bottle service. I REALLYENJOYEDMYSELF! Turn down for what?!

I came here the evening before Halloween with some family and friends to partake in a slight turn up for my birthday the next day! Since I wanted to do something a bit different this year to commemorate this semi-milestone birthday, I decided to make my way to the most talked about lounge in the city, The Park at Fourteenth. Instead of venturing out to the much talked about happy hour, I decided to make dinner reservations. It was a party of 8 and we arrived 20 minutes early. Well since all of us weren’t there, we had to wait until our actual time to be seated. Since Halloween was the next day, everything was decorated nice and spooky(insert evil laugh). Remember that song«The Freaks Come Out at Night?» Well, it was true because they were all out and about with their very well thought out costumes on. Lionel Richie, Queen of Hearts, Eazy E, Wonder Woman all stopped by to have a little fun that night. The Park is a very chic and sophisticated lounge/restaurant that caters to the mature clientele. I saw men there that were old enough to be my daddy and others that were old enough to be my nephew. It has four levels, bars on each level, live performances, and of course a few radio station personalities stop by on a weekly basis to promote various things. They have happy hour specials daily and from what I hear, the mac and cheese and jerk wings are very popular. Before we were seated, I was told by the host that we needed to vacate our seats by 9:45. The first thing I thought was, I do whatever I want, you can’t tell me what to do. The second thing I thought was, if I’m paying, I’ll stay as long as I want. Anywho, we were seated and ordered food and drinks. Some of my group ordered their famous jerk wings and mac and cheese and they all agreed they were delish, but I ordered the chicken fingers. False advertising because they were really chicken bites. Seasoned well, nothing to write home about. I will say that before we knew it, 10:00 had hit and our server never once tried to push us up. We appreciated that we weren’t rushed like we thought we would’ve been. We ventured upstairs to see Secret Society perform, which was cool. As the evening progressed, it increasingly got more and more crowded. It also changed clientele because an influx of younger people started to come in. While making my reservations for dinner, I was asked if I would require bottle service. For kicks and giggles I inquired about the cost and I was asked what’s my drink of choice. I responded, Grey Goose and I was told that bottle service started at $ 600 and up with Goose. Umm, yeah… okay. So here’s the thing, I’m not a rapper, nor am I a football/basketball player, so like most people, I work a 9 – 5. My money goes toward what’s most important to me, i.e. savings account, mortgage and retirement fund. Needless to say, I didn’t require the use of a bottle service. I can only speak for myself, but it’s not that important to me to act like a baller and to put on a show for others. Besides, do you know how many bottles of GG I can buy with $ 600? Get outta here! All and all, we really enjoyed our evening and I would consider coming back for happy hour in the near future, but clearly, no need to ask me about a bottle service ever again.

Wow wow wow Talk bout service This place is the hottest spot in DC its jumping off! We were visiting from Cali we called last minute for table and they took care of us made us feel so welcome and gave us best table in house right next Dj booth! Michelle is the best bottle girl and the VIP security took care of me every time I went to bathroom and back so sweet as they didn’t need to. They accommodated every request we had and they were real no fake stuff u typically get from big clubs Then we come home and get a thank you card in the mail from Park and my bottle girl! Wow I’m very impressed such customer service makes me happy to check in next time I touch down in DC and spend some money there! Best music best scene in town

We attempted to go to this night club we heard soooo much about while we were in town from NYC. We checked out the Unilocal and The Instagram page which showed men is raggedy jeans and t-shirts and women wearing regular nightclub attire(skirts, crops tops, tight dresses, etc.) So we had no idea what this club considered«Upscale». My issue begins here: On arrival, we were held outside in a line for about 20 minutes for no apparent reason. The guys in front of us had on dirty Jordan’s/sneakers, one actually had a rip in his plain t-shirt, and a visor(yes like what you put on your head to play tennis in) on his head. They let him in because he was on some list apparently. We finally get to the front of the line, and my girlfriend who is a dressed in gray joggers, and a tight button down black shirt, was not allowed in. They said they don’t do «sweat pants or sneakers really.» We do not understand how men wearing ripped jeans hanging off of their asses and dirty sneakers got in, but my girlfriend wearing Joggers, not sweatpants, was not allowed in. This place clearly picks and chooses who they let break the dress code and who they don’t. Clearly my girlfriend was not on the exception list last night.

I’ve been to DC several times and I can say this club impressed me greatly. The atmosphere, the security, the Jerk Wings and Macaroni & Cheese were the bomb. Definitely will be back.

I don’t like clubs, may they be damned, I do not like them, Sam I am. I do not like clubs — good’ns are rare, and I do not like paying to go there, I do not like them up high or low, I do not like shelling out so much dough, I hate waiting in line for them in the rain, and I’d rather die than take the train, I just want a drink — and may it be on the rocks, but I just don’t want to pay comparable prices to Google stocks. But we decided to go to the Park on 14th street, and they immediately invited us to grab a seat, So in we went with abysmal prospects, «hey — at least we can watch people get rekt» But we were blown away at the affordable fee, and a 3 course meal with 2 drinks for only $ 35? Paid that with glee! So Park at 14th — perhaps you’re merely a wish from a genie’s bottle rub, But I think you’ve got to be the best DC club. I still don’t like clubs, may they be damned, But I do like Park at 14th, Sam I am.

Smooth lounge. Came for dinner on a friday night. Had a reservation and was seated on time. Music was on point in the background. Wine and dine for $ 35 dinner(1 app/salad, 1 entrée, 1 dessert, 2 drinks) was definitely worth it. you might end up buying more drinks after the second one. Stayed in the restaurant till the club portion opened up. Perfect way to avoid line. Not much dancing. More of a chill, look good, and lounge vibe. Would def go back.

Restaurant: I enjoy the food each and every time I go and I always manage to try something new on the small menu. The drinks are good and there is a seating time limitation. The atmosphere is upscale and modern, typical pretentious crowd but that doesn’t stop the food from being good! Overall, I thoroughly enjoy the restaurant experience. Nightclub: The day party events that I have attended here are always free and not a line, because I arrive on time. For both the nightclub and day parties, the crowd is just too«stand aroundish». The Park just attracts a crowd is people that are to focused on how they look and not enough on having a great time and enjoying the great energy — I’ll pass!

The park resturant is amazing and posh and very lively. It has four levels and patio with amazing art decorations and a great professional crowd crowd. The hip hop music is great and I enjoy the busy crowd and believe me there is always a crowd this is the weekend happy hour spot for sure. We waited an hour and a half for the table which is cool considering you will probably wait about 15 minutes just to get a drink from the bar. Not because the bar tenders are slow they are actually fast and amazing usually. It’s just too freaking packed. they make wonderful drinks too but they don’t offer happy hour price unless you buy an appetizer with it that’s the only not so great part. Once you fight your way past the bar crowd and get your drink and chat with a friend or two. Your pager will beep and it be time to be seated. The waiters there are super awesome and usually pretty cute too. They have a amazing selection. I’ve dinned here a few times and I’m always really satisfied. Starters: I got the chicken sliders and a vodka cocktail the waiter recommended. I forget what the drink was actually called but it was fantastic though. The sliders were moist and tasty you only get two each which doesn’t seem like a lot by itself but with an entrée it was just perfect The entrée: $ 26.00 Had Angus Beef Ribeye loaded baked potato and string beans. I was feeling adventurous and ordered mine rare last night. It was a good look too. Mmmmmmmm mmmmmmm. I have to wipe the drool off my mouth just thinking about it. I mean it was delicious a huge portion of tender and perfectly grilled steak in everybite served just right. The waiter was wonderful he was very attentive and friendly and he even made great recommendations too. Plus he was thoughtful enough to bring out A-1 sauce without having to ask for it. The steak has friend onion crisps on top And I was on cloud nine every delicious Bite! Even though you will fill like you will explode after you eat the entrée. You really have to get dessert. I mean when I say it’s good. It’s freaking amazing!!! I had the chocolate melt always and they did just that they melted me away!!! I mean they were warm brownie bites with raspberry garnish and a warm gooey center sever with vanilla ice cream with a fresh strawberry and mint garnish. Yum So so good! So good I’m not really a bar goer but every time I leave I can’t wait to come back again. The combination of food and energy is amazing here. It’s also the perfect spot to people watch. Or watch her people watching you lol. Definitely stopping through again soon.

I LOVE the Park happy hours. 5−4−3−2−1 is all I have to say. If you don’t know you better ask somebody! It’s a great after work spot and NOTHING beats the $ 5HH wings and macaroni. I drive from Virginia just for this delicious dish. Your welcome :-)

When you think of The Park, typically the first thing that comes to mind is music, dancing, and drinks, not a sit down dinner and some pretty tasty food. Really, that should change. We decided to head to The Park on a Thursday right after work to give the restaurant portion of this establishment a try. Just a heads up, this place is always beyond crowded, so be prepared to wait, even if you have a reservation. We arrived at 6:15PM for our 6:30PM reservation but weren’t actually seated until 7:00PM. When we inquired about the wait around 6:45, we were told that such waits(with a reservation or not) were not unusual. Okay… that definitely needs to be worked on. Once we arrived at our table though, it was smooth sailing from there. We ordered a wealth of appetizers to start, including the spinach dip, trio of sliders, and grilled shrimp. Everything was flavorful and downright delicious(and I do mean everything). We ate every last bit. For entrees we tried the crab cakes, seafood pasta, and jerk wings. Now, I’m typically not a jerk chicken enthusiast but I was that day. They were that amazing. Our waitress was hands down fantastic. She, as well as other staff, checked on us constantly and we never wanted for anything. So few things to keep in mind if you decide to head to The Park for a nice dinner: –make a reservation; it’s really in your best interest. –you will have to show ID(and be over 21) even if you’re just going for dinner and nothing more; on the bright side, if you do decide to head upstairs for some dancing and drinks afterwards, you can do just that without having to jump through any additional hoops. –If you’re looking for a quiet and intimate spot for dinner, this isn’t the place for you. There will be lots of people; there will be loud music; you might find yourself doing a little dancing at your table and that is perfectly okay. We had a great time at The Park; good food and fantastic service. Really, what more could you ask for?

Came w/3 friends because I was invited by the events manager… Food: Crabcakes– For DC to be so close to MD, 1 would expect that there would be plenty of meat in the CRABcakes, however it was more breading than anything else. You could taste the onion first, then you got a slight kick of spice, which was much appreciated. However it was beautifully cooked & crispy on the outside, but slightly mushy on the inside. Lamb chops– the grill lines were perfectly charred. The sauce was plentiful and the flavor was tasty. It was cooked perfectly, didn’t get stuck in my teeth(important info) it comes w/asparagus and I subbed the potatoes for Mac & cheese. The noodles of the Mac were slightly over cooked, that’s easy to do so I forgive them. The asparagus was nice and crunchy & they cut off the inedible portion on the ends. Service: Eric was our server, he paid attention to the table & took good care of us. The way the VIP package works is, you get 1 spinach dip for the table, VERYLIMITED entrees(unless u wanna pay extra) AND u MUST buy a drink. This wasn’t shared prior to my arrival, and Eric cleared up the misunderstanding and we were able to share the dip(still no separate app for each of us), but we were able to order wudeva we wanted without the extra charge(thanks), plus the desserts(thanks again). We were offered free shots cuz our desserts took forever. He was a pretty cool server and he’s good at what he does. Desserts: the bread pudding was tasty it had a nice charred crust on top. I would have loved more of the strawberries they used to garnish on top. The crème brûlée was served chilled. Weird, but still good. I didn’t think I was going to like it. My friend didn’t like the brownies(but she’s picky, so u can ignore that). The key lime parfait needed some moisture from mashed fruit because of the amount of graham cracker but it was still tasty. Atmosphere: this type of environment is def not for a romantic date(in my opinion) but it’s perfect for girlfriends hanging out. Especially considering it’s a nightclub.

I ate here last night because me and a party of 3 were invited in for a tasting off their Restaurant Week menu. The food was okay, but probably not something I’d return for with their prices. I could get better quality entrees elsewhere with what they’re asking you to pay. Lots of hits, but a lot of misses as well. Service was good. Nice guy who kept us well attended to with a pleasant personality. Ambiance was okay. It was a bit loud with how packed it was and with the music. I wouldn’t have expected anything less. It’s a club/lounge atmosphere… don’t expect to speak in a normal tone and expect to hear the person across from you. This is a place that caters to upscale 20s/30s something young professionals. It’s definitely a mixed crowd with all types. The Park will remain a place I’d might party at, but not dine at. I’m not much a partier… I guess we’ll see when the time arises.
