Was admiring the crowd of peeps for the Lottery Line & decided to pop in to look around. From the outside looking in, there is wall to wall of wine, liquor & champagne. Went inside the small bodega of libations, & there’s coolers of more alcohol, beer, soda pops & non alcoholic drinks. The employee was friendly & asked if I needed anything & I told him I was just looking around… he was cool with that. It’s a step by step space; yet extremely organized & well stocked in the norm of a package & convenient store. There was a nice shelf of clearance items, as I was slightly intrigued by the unique bottles of liquor delight. Of course the expensive aka top shelf items were precisely stacked on a high shelf behind the counter. Not to mention the mini CCTV’s that was protecting all of the pristine items of the package store. I didn’t purchase any wine yet walked away with my favorite Deep River Maui Onion Chips. However, I will make sure to stop by for a Brown Bag for my next outta town excursion.

I visit this place mainly for the convenience. I feel that they charge about $ 5-$ 8 more than what you would pay at many of the other wine & liquor stores in the city, but you pay for convenience I guess. They have a decent(not large) selection of wine and I even stumbled upon my boyfriend’s fave… Rose Regal… which can be hard to find at times. Give this 3 stars because of the convenience and the hidden gems you may find :)

Desperate train travelers(like me :) will pay almost anything for alcohol and these guys know it! Very good selection of single craft bottles including several Flying Dog flavors. The $ 3.30 price tag hurts until you remember that it’s $ 6.50 on the train, then you don’t mind much at all lol. As the name says, they sell wine and hard liquor at Union Wine, look for this tiny shop on the lowest level, amid the chaos of the food court. Multiple cashiers, you won’t be in line long. So five stars for selection and convenience, one for price, three is about right.

I remembered my first purchase here was the Starbucks Coffee Liqueur. I don’t know why Starbucks stop selling that liqueur since it strong, tasty and smooth to the throat. The staff here are wonderful, very attentive and friendly. The place is small but very convenient for people who are on the go, home that is. They recently moved down to the food court across from the fruit smooth café. I went over there today to get some Mega Million slips. Good Luck to me.
