Excellent way to personalize your DC trip! Easy to rent, easy to ride, easy to park, and best of all these guys are Great! We came in from Atlanta, GA, Rode Metro in from Cherry Hill, got off at the wrong stop which was right in front of Uscoot and these guys treated us like longtime friends. So very Grateful for the kindness shown to us. We look forward to their visit to A-​town in the future!

My experience with Uscoot was fantastic. We needed a new way to get around town, but were seriously worried about the costs of buying a scooter and all of the accompanying accessories out of pocket. Sheryar made great recommendations and worked with us to help us find the perfect options and also feel secure and insured. Plus, I love our new scooter, it is a beauty! On top of everything, they take the time to make sure you are comfortable navigating on a scooter and understand the maintenance needed with a mini class at the end of your purchase. I know we are in good hands with the Uscoot team!

A few weeks ago, I rented a scooter from UScoot for a few hours, and I had such a good time I decided to purchase a brand new one the week after. What’s not to love? Scooters offer convenience, great gas mileage, and tons of fun, and the investment pays itself off after just a few months. The scooter I decided to purchase, along with a lock and chain and two helmets, was affordable and reasonably priced. The process was a breeze and I was on my way after just a few minutes. A much better and more reliable decision than buying something off craigslist.
UScoot’s friendly and knowledgeable staff have gone out of their way time and time again to make the customer service experience as easy and straightforward as possible. After purchasing my scooter, I ran into a mechanical issue. I called the store; that same day they drove to my house with a truck to pick up my scooter, and a rental scooter ready for me to use if needed. I know that if there’s anything I need they are just a phone call away and will go out of their way to help out.
As the sister store of Redline Motorsports in Takoma Park, the UScoot staff has the experience and expertise to back it up. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, and they care. Thanks UScoot!

This is the second location of Redline Motorsports– the first is up New Hampshire Ave in Takoma Park. I noticed this new spot a few weeks ago at U and Vermont because they’ve painted a giant scooter mural on their corner storefront. There are a bunch scooters out on the sidewalk and a showroom on the second floor of the row house they’re located in.
I have a Honda Metropolitan and I popped in on a Saturday and talked to Sheryar about getting my starter fixed and some other stuff. He has a long background in autosports and performance and I immediately felt sure my little starter issue would be well addressed. They do their maintenance at the original location so I paid a reasonable towing fee and they said they’d get back to me about the cost to fix my bike.
On Monday I got a call from Carlos at Redline and he ran through the work. The quote was reasonable and they called back Tuesday to say it was all done and the bike was on its way back to U Street. I picked it up after work and it has been riding (and starting) great.
In addition to sales and maintenance, they also have a scooter rental program, but I haven’t checked that out. But if you’re interested in getting a scooter yourself, I’d think a rental may be a great way to see how serious you are about buying one. Or maybe you just want to have a fun Saturday. And yes they can teach you how to ride. Either way, U Street Scooters has great, knowledgeable staff and does high quality work. Highly recommend.
