Doomsday Brewery has the best beer around! Excellent customer service. Amanda the beer wench is awesome. The vibe is absolutely chill. Perfect place to relax and maybe play a game of Cards Against Humanity. Definitely have to try the #RubenDog.

Doomsday was definitely one of my favorite breweries while we were on our brewery tour! I love the apocalyptic themes and name and their beers are experimental and refreshing! Here I got their Chihuahua Golden Ale which was fantastic and in honor of our actual Chihuahua who was in the car being all mopey because she does not like to travel that much. I suppose the beer was also in honor of Steve who was in the car babysitting the dog while I was in there as well. The bartender was friendly, bubbly and chatty which made the experience all the more fun! By the time I was done I got one of their t-shirts!

The fam and I had just done some hiking in Washougal and wanted to check out one of the local bars for some beers and apps. Unfortunately, they had a very limited food menu consisting of hot dogs, a soft pretzel with nacho cheese, slices of plain jane pizza and popcorn. Very ‘ball park’esque. The popcorn was self serve in a popcorn machine located near a bunch of board games. The beer selection, on the other hand, was great. There was a plethora of unique brews that all tickled my fancy. We have an 18 month old son so I enjoy when places offer a balance between being adult and child friendly. This bar did not house high chairs, luckily we travel with a nice portable one in our truck which we were able to hook up to one of the wooden picnic tables inside. Another couple with a young child came in for some drinks after us and they seemed just fine as well. Overall, I would revisit this joint if I was thirsty for a good brew and I would definitely support it if I was local to the area. I hope they do some major enhancements on the menu before the next time we visit. Check in on Unilocal and receive $ 1 off a pint :)

This is truly a tap room with some very tasty beers. We arrived mid Sunday afternoon with only a few other patrons there, but a friendly atmosphere. Located in what appears to be an industrial building on the outside, their tap room has a warmish feeling, with tables that would force friendship with strangers on a busy day. The food menu is very limited to hot dogs. They have their place, but not in my belly. Sampled a couple of beers then left to another local brewery with a more diverse menu appealing to my pickier pallet. If trying new beers is your thing and being social(usually feeling more social after a beer or two), find out when they’re busy and stop over.

Love these guys, they fill my Corny when I’m looking to have it filled. They have some really good beer and a nice guest tap program. Wish they where closer to my house :)

Amanda did a great job of taking care of this newbie. The Nuclear IPA and Agent Orange were both incredible. If you’re in Camas/Washougal/Vancouver make sure to stop in. And don’t forget to order a Doomsday Dog!

So after being treated as a nonentity at another Camas establishment… hint: rhymes with Grew Birks… I phoned Doomsday to find out if I could bring my 5 yr old with me. Amanda…who is simply incredible… says«sure, but we aren’t really open until 4 so if you don’t mind me doing some cleaning while you are here we’d love to have you come by». What a difference. One hour before they open and she is going to open up for myself and my daughter. Wow…great beer… great people.

The bartender was awesome, the space is cool(reminds me of being in an aircraft hangar), but I just wasn’t impressed with any of the beers I sampled. I’m a serious HOPHEAD, however and I have a high bar for bitterness– maybe if I would’ve tried some tasters of different varieties I’d been more satisfied? I’ll give them a second chance, however, since I love the Washougal River for swimming and spending a hot summer day. I just can’t gush about their beer.

Just for the sake of clarity: the date we popped by the restaurant was July 3, I simply didn’t get around to posting the review for a week. There was no IPA on tap as Doomsday had run out according to the pleasant waitress who both took and delivered our order at our table. As for A/C, I dislike it anyway, so that was no issue. In an effort to be fair, I will return to(hopefully) sample the IPA. :)

I absolutely love this place! The beer is awesome and the food is very creative especially the hot dogs. It may not be your typical 5 star restaurant but they have great staff and a fun atmosphere. Plus it’s a brewery. What do you expect?! The employees are very attentive and make sure you have exactly what you need at all times. Amanda always makes sure our glasses are full and we are completely satisfied. Will definitely be back for more!!!

Went in with high expectations but was sorely disappointed. Ordered the pretzel, the Reuben dog, and the nacho cheese dog. Customer service was pretty lame/nonexistent. There was a 25 minute wait on the hot dogs and when we received them they were lukewarm and nothing special. Maybe the beers are what sells here?

Thoroughly enjoyed the Salty Dog, along with their IPA… Warm atmosphere, with friendly employees… I can definitely see myself becoming a regular here! You could taste the quality in the dog!

I love this bar/brewery! I went in several times in December after seeing the sign on the building and I really enjoyed it. About two weeks ago I hosted a private event here, and it went off without a hitch. The staff was so easy to work with throughout planning and the event. I would definitely check this place out for hosting a party or for just a beer or two. The beer really is good, and they have a lot of variety. I’m all about supporting local businesses, and this one will definitely be getting my money. Also, they have a beer club too, which the benefits of are awesome!

I’ll start off by saying the man behind the bar was super nice. My boyfriend and I were in town after a long hike looking for a cold one as an award. After seeing the reviews for this new Brewery we wanted to check it out. As we walked in we noticed the empty bar, disappointing décor but a decent selection of brews. We sampled a few and both landed on the Nuclear IPA. It was ok I have it a 3.5 on UnTapped. The free popcorn helped with the experience but over all not very memorable. If you are interested in trying unique flavors they did have some interesting tastes on tap.

Beer, games, and a light snack… pretty good deal. There are 7 beers on tap and a cider which seems like a pretty good variety for a smaller establishment. The food isnt much… but nice that they have something to offer for a hungry drinker. The selection of games is more impressive than most places. Oh man, almost forgot the free self serve popcorn, its the final piece of a pleasant suprise in Washougal.

Awesome Brewery in Washougal! My husband and I did a sampler of everything they had on tap and loved each one. It’s a very cool place to grab a beer with some friends and hang out. Large picnic tables to sit at, TV’s and you can even watch the«brewing» process from a window in the main area. Just opened up on Saturday, so they don’t have food yet, but the owners said they are hoping to within the next 6 months. Prices are great and very reasonable. They also sell and fill growlers! It’s hidden, but its right off the freeway and very easy to get to. Definitely a place you don’t want to miss. Amazing beer, awesome atmosphere, can’t wait to go back.
