The place was very dirty, the floor was disgusting, the counters were sticky, and the glasses were unclean. However the food was a lot better than anticipated, the pork dumplings were amazing! But for me that is where it ended the calamari was tasteless, but my wife loved her chicken teriyaki so that is the only reason I am giving them a 2 instead of a 1.

Great food and friendly service in a beautiful location. Everything we have ordered has been delicious and bonus points from me that they serve their beer in frosty mugs ;)

First visit here and will definitely be back. Warm cozy atmosphere, beautiful view of lake and mountains, and very friendly staff. Everything served was delicious. Love the halibut bites, egg rolls, Mongolian beef(very tender) and fried shrimp, yum! Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed :)

Bad food bad atmosphere The place is dirty there are holes in the ceiling where light fixtures would have been. Mongolian beef didn’t even taste like Mongolian beef it tasted like nothing I could I identify. Even the eggrolls were not good. Everything had a strange unidentifiable taste to it. If you’re looking for decent Asian food this is not the place keep looking. Worst Asian food ever I had. This was a take-out order for the hotel room and I ended up throwing the whole thing out total waste

One cook, so come in and take your time to relax in front of Wasilla lake. Very good food and worth every bite as the chef cooks the meal at the time of order, there is no Fast food hamburgers served… but good quality meals especially Steak. I love to have food worth dedication to serve.

I drive place this place all the time and have always wondered if it would be good. I’ve not been sure just because so much Asian food in the valley has been a disappointment but not here. Tempura very light and crispy. The menu is limited but it seems like what they have they do very well. Staff is very friendly and inviting– we’ll definitely be back.

I’ve driven past this place for years, and we finally decided to try it out, and were glad we did. The food was absolutely excellent. Normally, I have little use for fried wontons, but these were scrumptious, especially with her«secret sauce». The egg rolls were easily the best I’ve ever had. I would easily give the food 5 stars. The setting is fine, nothing special, hence the 4 star rating. Perhaps if we had been there at sunset… but it was already dark! We will return again!

I love this place! I have nothing bad to say about it. I eat here regularly and each time the food and service has been exquisite! Our favorite dishes are the Bento Box and the Mongolian Beef Stir Fry. Absolutely delicious!

Excellent food, excellent service! This restaurant is now at the top of our list for the Palmer-Wasilla area. Wonderful views of Wasilla Lake coupled with friendly service of fresh, delightful food, make for a great experience. The Alaska Salmon Steak was excellent, as was the Alaskan Halibut Steak. Add to this Kirin Ichiban on tap(as well as Alaskan Amber and Alaskan White)! Even the egg rolls were fresh, unlike at many restaurants. We will be back soon!

The food is excellent, much lighter fare than most Asian food. Easy on the oil and lightly fried. The staff is very small — The owners(A semi-retired couple) run the place nearly by themselves. The wait will be longer on busy nights. It has a great spot right on Wasilla Lake that makes for a great view. Definitely worth a try!

This is a solid restaurant. We were visiting from out of town and picked this spot because of positive reviews on Unilocal. The service was a bit odd because the owner/chef took our order even though there was a waiter working. The food was good and reasonably priced. Request a booth by the windows to enjoy the view.

Trying to be fancier than they are. Asian fusion? I think not. Limited menu and nothing authentic. Décor is so-so. Step up the food and the atmosphere will be more appreciated. Fix the windows and upgrade a few other items when the menu starts to pay you back. Service was ridiculous. They didn’t even know we were there waiting for a table for 15 minutes despite our«Hello?!» every few minutes. Then they left us without describing the menu or anything. Food was way average and overpriced. Too much effort to get to for such a mediocre experience.

Love the owners, love the food, love the lake view, a truly special place. Atmosphere is a bit strange and don’t expect upscale seating, but well worth the trip. Please help keep this local place stay in business and give it a try!

I was excited to try this place out with the family but after waiting over 20 mins just to order was kinda sad. My children were fussy. There looked to be only 2 staff working. The waiter took an order and ran to the kitchen to make it. So we left. Never done that before.

Very nice. Dinner was yummy. The lakeside view is spectacular, especially at sunset. Atmosphere is nice. Service was friendly and prompt. Our dinners came out quickly. All 3 of us girls ordered the bento box(see photo). It had more tempura than I was expecting, but it was good tempura. Not greasy, very crispy. The rice was flavorful, the orange chicken was uh-maze-ing! Loved it. Also really good — honestly everything. The egg drop soup was piping hot and had a fun surprise in it — corn. The egg rolls were very crispy and the veggies inside the egg roll were crisp and crunchy. I found the prices to be very reasonable for Alaska — $ 14 for the bento box. That’s at least $ 5 less than the other Asian place charges for a dinner bento. Will definitely be back, next time with my honey.

A LOOFAH?! I really need to ask them how to pronounce their name — this is the only way I can remember it! One of my sister’s favorite eateries in Wasilla, this Chinese and Japanese fusion restaurant boasts a gorgeous lakeside view. Upon entering, I could feel the romantic vibe from the muted lighting and high ceilings, to the spacious seating for a more intimate setting. After being seated and perusing their menu, my sister and I decided upon sharing the Golden Squid dish, served with egg drop soup and rice. It arrived in a timely manner, although we had to order an extra bowl of rice. The squid was delicious! It was soft and chewy, spread over four large squares of crisply fried wonton. The serving is more than enough to feed one person, and a decent size to split between two. It’s tossed in a sauce reminiscent of light sesame dressing. The service is great — the waiters and waitresses are friendly, helpful, and quick. It was easy to get their attention, and we didn’t feel rushed to order. I think it’s wonderful when a restaurant has great food and service. For Alaska, the pricing is considered average($$), bu may br pricy for Californians. I haven’t tried their sushi rolls yet, but I hope they will expand their menu without sacrificing quality. Thank you, E Lu Fa, for this such a pleasant dinner! This is my first 4-star review for any Alaskan restaurant; I hope there will be more to come.
