The young man who was working there was unprofessional. You don’t ask someone«what are you here for» when someone walks into your establishment. The employee could not add, or check the order before handing it over, it was wrong. The macoroni salad Is different every time I order and the meats could use more sauce, the way they did a year ago. I will still frequent the anchorage stores, but not wasilla. Just because your in the valley doesn’t mean we expect less than average.

Love love love the food! The burgers and fries are good, the teriyaki beef and kalbi are also delicious with lots of flavor. The girl working there was friendly and attentive. I like how huge the cups are so I don’t have to get a refill. My favorite restaurant in the valley, for sure.

Staff was polite, food was good, a lil slow, atmosphere is kinda cold because it’s very open inside, but overall not bad.

Not impressed with food or service. Questionable cleanliness made me leave my food mostly untouched.

Good food, plain and simple. Simple, no-frills location. Take-out is a great option here. The poki, teriyaki chicken, and kalua pork are awesome. Big portions. Great food.

Good Selection of Meats because I can’t eat Pork(thank you). I’m Appreciating the hospitality as the sauces are also made in-house and good prices for having specialty made food. Happy there’s a Hawaiian treat in Wasilla!

It has good food for an affordable price. We are glad to have a restaurant in the neighborhood that isn’t pizza. It has no atmosphere, but it is clean and the staff friendly. I know nothing about island cuisine and was excited to try it. We had several dishes and they were good. The teriyaki beef was a bit chewy, but the chicken version was perfect. I love the leaf wrapped steamed thing(forgot what it is called) and the kimchi. The macaroni salad that comes as a side with your meal is delicious. A friend told me that when she had the beef, it was tender and delicious so I will give that dish another chance sometime. My only complaints are that they do not have much in the way of vegetable dishes, other than substituting green salad for the macaroni, and that they do not offer delivery service. It will appeal to meat and starch loving Alaskans. Portion sizes are generous. You get a lot of food for your $ 11.

We were referred by some friends to try this place out. It’s definitely a hole-in the wall and very causal dining. Not much for environment or atmosphere but yummy food! My husband and I are Hawaiian cuisine fans and this place hit the spot. The portions are big, prices decent. I ordered a combo plate, the kalua pork was good but my fav was the teriyaki chicken. My husband didn’t like the tea leave wrapped pork(but it was the tea leaves he didn’t care for). Would recommend for a quick dinner(good service and fast making the food) or lunch. Only irritating thing is they aren’t open on Mondays.

I was so excited like a kid in a candy store when I saw this place. Their food is so ono! I had the Samoan plate with palusami, kalua pig and turkey tails. This is the only Hawaiian restaurant in Wisilla as far as I know and they also have 2 locations in Anchorage. I can’t wait to go back and have the lau lau! I highly recommend this place!
