My family and I have eaten here for years. It’s a nice go-to place for us locals and it’s located on Bogard Road across from the medical center. The camerone rancheros are very good — large, tender shrimp in a mole type sauce. The shrimp quesadilla however is made with tiny canned shrimp and it’s not good. I love the chile relleno but I like cheese… The décor is colorful and clean(none I have seen were broken down and repaired) and the wait staff is attentive. They have lots of colorful drinks for the kids(mocktails) and I’d suggest if you drive out from Anchorage, get lost and are in a foul, anti-valley mood, you should try the adult drinks until your attitude adjusts.

What a waste. A small restaurant located on a lost road in the valley of mat-su. We ordered two different meals and the carne asada came out as just a tasteless hunk of meat. The chile relleno was more cheese than any thing else, the portions were huge(as is typical for ameri-mex) but why do I want MORE crap? The atmosphere was cheesy, bright colored chairs which had repairs on most of them. If you are going to make a new restaurant make it different not so it looks like a kiddie play-land in taco bell. The highlight… the waitress was very engaging, though more of an airhead than you’d expect at 40 years plus. Don’t bother unless you just have nothing better to do. Oh wait — its the valley!
